She did the exact opposite of what I wanted. I thought it at least was cut well but after getting home/it dried it really doesn't look great. And it's just so short. She just kept shortening it again and again. She admitted that it wasn't anything like what I asked for. I wanted to stay positive for my kid but I can't believe I tipped. Please don't go to her unless you want the one style she apparently can do. I did call Sharkey's and received a call from the owner Pauline. After I told her what happened, she initially seemed apologetic and offered a refund. I sent her pictures as requested. But then she kept trying to get me to agree to change my review immediately in a really pushy way. I asked if the refund was contingent on the review and she initially denied it, but then later texted to say it was. So sketchy. I paid $39.71. I did not receive a refund.

If this saves one person from the hands of Jake and the RUDE staff at PR Partners in Bristow , I have done my job. Moved back from Florida after 11 years and stopped in to make an appointment. Everyone was busy .. they took my number and said they would get back ! 2 weeks later stopped in again .. lovely front desk girl said she would get someone to get back to me . No big deal . Some more time went by and I called , I was not short or rude to anyone , understating things happen . The lady found my note behind another note . I asked her about 2 stylists that had openings Friday Nov 21st . I asked about Madi .. I was told she was too new . I inquired about Jake who had an opening . She stated he had been doing hair for a long time . I arrived at 1:15 for my 1:30 appointment. Very cold greeting . At 1:30 I hear a guy holler across the salon ... who is on the couch ?? Wow . I was asked to be early since I was a new client . About 1:40 Jake brought me to his chair . The consult ....i should have run !! I had my formula which he didn't understand . He immediately stated it would not look the same . I should have run . I had the color line plus a way to formulate it to other color lines bit he mixed anyway .I have had the same hairdresser for 11 years so my color was gorgeous and hair was to my bra strap . He consulted a couple other ladies and they came up with whatever formula they decided on . He came out with one bowl of bleach ... my stylist always uses 2 bowls so again I should have run . I inquired about price .. he advertises $160 for partial foil so with cut I was planning on $225-$250 ...I was paying $200 for my services in Florida by the salon owner . I let him know $300 was out of my range ... he stated with the toner and gloss that's what it was .I have NEVER had a toner on my hair or a gloss and quite frankly a toner is nothing more than a way for lazy hairdressers with bad foil placement to cover up their shotty work ....to say we needed a toner before we started is scary ! I lift beautifully and never need a toner before! $230 is what he decided on and wow did I get discounted hair . The foil placement was nuts and the toner left me with dirty dishwater hair ! If he would have consulted he would have been informed my hair pulls ash ! The cut !! With arrogance he stated how much i was going to love the cut ... I asked for a couple inches he took 6 ... it is the worst cut ever ! He had no idea how to cut curly hair . I literally sat in my car and cried for ten minutes ! This is the rudest salon I have ever been into ! Not a hello from any other staff member. Not an offering of water .. I even had a huge hoddie sweatshirt that he was going smock me in before I had to ASK for a cape ! I felt like I had done something wrong , I felt borderline bullied by the staff and worse by Jake . I really didn't want to post this but after coming into work missing 6 inches and hair that looks like dirty dishwater and my co workers asking what happened left me no choice. I immediately know Jake is going to say I got what I payed for since I could only do $225-$250 but I wish he would have dismissed me anyway ! With Jake yelling across the salon , his nasty disposition, lack of listening, unprofessionalism and skill set I am sure Hair Cuttery or Sports Clips would be better suited for him!! What a waste of $$ and the corrective will cost twice as much !! RUN FROM JAKE !!

This was especially problematic since she told me I had to pay cash for the first year, so I would take out what I thought I needed and then I didn't have enough. Also, I just thought she was rude for the most part. She works out of her house and the first time I went in she was working on a customer and she did not greet or even acknowledge I was there. The customer actually said hi! Overall her attitude was just really bad and I there were a few times she made some inappropriate comments, including implying I was not tipping enough (I always tipped at least 20 percent). I do not know if she meant it to come across that way, but she made a point of indicating most of her customer tipped her at least 40 percent to offset the costs of running her own business. To be honest, I was going to her because she was not as expensive as many of the salons in the area. The last time she did my hair I was not happy with it at all. I did say I wanted it darker, and she made it darker, but I just thought it looked bad overall. I didn't like the cut or the color and broke down in tears when I got home. I had made another appointment when I left and texted her to cancel, and her response was something like, "ok." This baffled me since I would think she would want to know why or at least see what had happened??? Bottom line: this woman is very unprofessional and she's not as great as she makes herself out to be. I see that her Facebook page has great reviews, but I have no idea why unless people like to go somewhere where they are treated badly and the end result might be ok.

Instead of giving me options on how to fix my hair she just gave me a trim. I stopped going to her after a little while because my hair was still damaged. It wasn't until I posted on Facebook looking for another stylist that she actually contacted me and gave me options. I went back to her and cut off all my hair to get rid of the damaged ends. I worked with her and tried to grow my hair back out. She would cut my hair dry and not wet. After a couple more weeks I decided to get a second opinion from another stylist and thank God I did. The stylist showed me my hair and one side was 2" longer than the other. I never went back to her after this. She would gossip and be completely disrespectful towards her customers. I would not recommend her to anyone. She doesn't know what she is doing. She's easily distracted and unprofessional.

My stylist did a great job at making sure I was satisfied with the length of my cut and she cut it exactly as I requested. The salon is a pretty good size place just a few doors down from caribou coffee in Bristow. It was clean and comfortable inside. It wasn't really overly noisy in there which was good, some of these salons I have been to can get quite loud with all the blow dryers and music playing. So to me quiet is a big plus. Also they have a mens club where you can come back every month and save $5 each time which is a plus.

First it was the color- I was told a price when I called and made my appt..... when I went to check out the manager told me it was higher than when I first called. (Stylist paid the difference). Second time was this past Saturday 6/21/14... I made an up-do appt at the beginning of the week and was told I would get a call back to confirm if the up-do stylist would be able to come in as well as the price for an up-do was 55$. Long story short- No up-do stylist was there, it was the manager who did my hair. I showed her a picture of what I wanted done- nothing like the picture. It was a nice up-do but not what I asked for AT ALL. And again, I went to check out and my up-do total went from 55$ to 80$ for something that didn't even look like what i wanted. Ringlet curls put in a side ponytail and pinned up. I could have done that at home myself! So, when I got home I redid my hair by taking everything down and flattening my curls and repining!
