Don't be discouraged, the "hidden house" isn't hard to find! Lol! I was introduced to this place through a friends pre-wedding welcome event. The space was perfect for our group, some indoor space, lots of outdoor, including a covered tented area. They set up a smorgasbord of vegan delectables, the way I heard it the staff actually had fun meeting this particular challenge and they came up with an incredibly thoughtful and *filling* menu. Veg kabobs, pita and hummus, pretzel bread, spring rolls with peanut sauce, even a spicy peanut sauce, not to mention a giant array of fruit and not just like a boring fruit salad but berries, kiwis, the good stuff if you know what I mean! All that and the beer was incredible, I found a quick favorite in the dunkelweisen! And the staff was fun and attentive, clearing our empty glasses from our tables and offering refills to us outside. Just a fantastic experience for our hosted event, will definitely be going back to see what it's like on a normal night!

Delicious food. Biscuits & sandwich bread was the best I've ever tasted. Beef was tender & flavorful. Caprese skewer had a delightful balsamic vinegar dressing. Hidden House is a historic home. Decor inside & out is beautiful. Service is very friendly & efficient.

A Must Visit! Charming restaurant in the historic Hidden House built 1884 by the Hidden Brick Family. The owners take great care in preparing delicious meals which can be enjoyed with a glass of wine or beer.Prepared take home meals available. I had this delicious egg salad w/ prosciutto in a thick bread sandwich. Topped off with Pavlova, a meringue dessert filled with lemon curd, whipped cream and fruit. Delicious. Eat inside or outside. A hidden gem.

We visited the Hidden House for the first time last night and absolutely loved it! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the owner who was so kind and helpful. He was so welcoming and you can truly tell he loves and takes pride in what he does. We both had the prosciutto parmesan meatball wedge and really enjoyed it - the bread was exceptional and baked in house daily. The spinach pasta salad and charcuterie skewer were also very tasty. They have a great assortment of beer, wine and cocktails, too! We are so happy we checked this place out and can't wait to go back soon!

So if your sitting around with a hankering for some inspired food options. Come find the Hidden House in downtown Vancouver. The food is perfect for anyone craving a flavor of food that is sofisticated yet simplistic in its delivery, I generally don't struggle with description but this treat is a visual experience and requires, if not warrants the trip to search out something not so common.

    Hot chocolate with whipped cream

I wandered into this cute market / deli hoping there would be some hot chocolate on the menu. Unfortunately there wasn't, but the lady who worked there offered to heat up a bottle of chocolate milk from the refrigerated section of the store. She even asked if I wanted some whipped cream. The hot chocolate was delicious and she said that they would be adding it to the menu soon :) Really impressed with the service I received and I look forward to visiting again next time I'm in Vancouver.

I recently saw that this place had cheese zombies. Today seemed like a good day to get one for lunch!!! It was just as I remembered and the tomato soup was excellent as well

So sad to see they no longer serve to the public. Only private parties now. Fingers crossed they can reopen.

The staff at this location were all very courteous, and welcoming. This is one of the first Hilton locations I've visited that makes sure HH members are acknowledged in a memorable way, there was a spin the wheel for HH member's offering a chance to win additional points and/or free parking (I won free parking, very much appreciated!) The room was spacious, clean, quiet, comfortable, and modernized. The onsite parking was very well secured no matter how late your arrival could be the staff go over and beyond to ensure guests and staff enter the garage. The onsite restaurant Gray's offered a good mix of breakfast items for all dietary preferences. The conference rooms are spacious, and sound proof as there were meetings being held in the rooms next to ours and there were no disturbances. This Hilton location rates high for excellent customer service, cleanliness, and hospitality. If your flight gets hit with a ground stop, the hotel's position is essentially that you're already checked in -- even if you're several states away with no physical way to arrive. When I explained the situation, the conversation quickly turned into me asking to simply be checked out and accept a one-night penalty. I was more than willing to cover that, but I wasn't willing to pay for the entire stay when travel disruptions were completely out of my control. What was most disappointing was the lack of flexibility or guidance. No alternatives were offered, and there didn't seem to be much concern for the realities of air travel. For a property that presumably serves many business travelers, the response felt far from traveler-friendly. Based on this experience, I won't be booking this location again and would recommend choosing a property that better understands the unpredictability of airline travel.
