Adding an update since they are now a catering & private event space as of 7/28/22. More details are in the pic I've added from their Instagram post as the are open as a restaurant at least once a month, if not more, to the public. I recommend following them on Instagram to get updates on when they are open to the public & what the menu will be. I recently went to an event at the Clark County Historical Museum, catered by Hidden House. WOW. The food was so freaking good! I snacked on a delicious Charcuterie Board, ate a Sesame Chicken Meatball situation, and nommed on far too many Crispy Fried Risotto Balls. (The house chips were a munching danger. Many were eaten.) I would 100% eat this again. Catering from any particular is usually pretty decent food, but every once in a while, a catering company really surprises you. Don't be discouraged, the "hidden house" isn't hard to find! Lol! I was introduced to this place through a friends pre-wedding welcome event. The space was perfect for our group, some indoor space, lots of outdoor, including a covered tented area. They set up a smorgasbord of vegan delectables, the way I heard it the staff actually had fun meeting this particular challenge and they came up with an incredibly thoughtful and *filling* menu. Veg kabobs, pita and hummus, pretzel bread, spring rolls with peanut sauce, even a spicy peanut sauce, not to mention a giant array of fruit and not just like a boring fruit salad but berries, kiwis, the good stuff if you know what I mean! All that and the beer was incredible, I found a quick favorite in the dunkelweisen! And the staff was fun and attentive, clearing our empty glasses from our tables and offering refills to us outside. Just a fantastic experience for our hosted event, will definitely be going back to see what it's like on a normal night! read more

This is a "Hidden Gem", yet easily found in downtown Vancouver. Hub had a wedge, clam chowder and a skewer. I had the shrimp Louie with clam chowder.....Beyond fantastic! Set in the Historic Hidden House with its beautiful wood and stained glass, the vibe is so cool. The owner was very pleasant and courteous. Dine in, take out, patio for when it's warmer, this is a winner in my book. People! Check them out! We all need to help our local businesses out so they'll be around in the future. read more

We visited the Hidden House for the first time last night and absolutely loved it! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the owner who was so kind and helpful. He was so welcoming and you can truly tell he loves and takes pride in what he does. We both had the prosciutto parmesan meatball wedge and really enjoyed it - the bread was exceptional and baked in house daily. The spinach pasta salad and charcuterie skewer were also very tasty. I wandered into this cute market / deli hoping there would be some hot chocolate on the menu. Unfortunately there wasn't, but the lady who worked there offered to heat up a bottle of chocolate milk from the refrigerated section of the store. She even asked if I wanted some whipped cream. We stopped by for happy hour last week. Owners David and Elaine were most gracious and friendly. We got the whole house tour. We shared the soup of the day; a wonderful bean chili and a salad with lotsa goodies. Wine selection was epic with many choices under $15. Shared a Rioja with the meal. Walking around Vancouver last night we stumbled upon this place- looked interesting from the outside so we decided to check it out- so glad we did! The spot is adorable and comfortable with groceries (including lots of local products) for purchase and a great looking menu. We ended up getting one of the oat bars and it was sooooo delicious. The owners were super friendly and passionate about this business they've created. I've eaten in at, & taken out from, Hidden House many times, sometimes with a friend from Portland. Everything -- every thing -- that we have picked has been extraordinary. My favorite might be their tuna salad sandwich. It's more like three-na or four-na. Delicious & a meal in itself, tho smoky tomato soup is a great complement. Strongly recommended. The Hidden House Market owners, David and Elaine, have specialized in a most delightful menu. You can guarantee every item has been thoughtfully prepared with expertise, generous portions, quality ingredients and enough creativity that makes the food wonderful. I have never had more delicious sandwiches. Everything about them was good. The short rib sandwich was extremely tender and rich with flavor. The Prosciutto and Parm Meatball sandwich taste like "homemade" Italian meatballs but even better. I don't know how they do it. The Horiatiki Salad sandwich had fresh, in season vegetables with kalamata olives. The feta cheese was the extraordinarily creamy. Each sandwich was in a buttery pocket of soft, fresh bread. My mother is the only person who I know who doesn't like bread, but she loved this bread. I have never written a review before, but I am drawn to do so now because not only the food is good, but the owners really take great pleasure in making food that people enjoy. Their menu may be small, but it is consistently delicious, hearty and the prices are very reasonable. The historic Hidden House is the perfect location to enjoy great food.
