One day, while I was perusing photos of various wedding venues, I came across a photo of a beautiful hollow of mulberry trees. When i started to deep dive into the location of the photograph I come to find the venue is in Reedley CA. Growing up in Fresno, working in the south valley and finally residing in Clovis I was shocked to find a venue that no one I knew had been married at previously. My husband, fiancé at the time, and I had viewed a few other venues, and nothing was really capturing the feel I wanted for our wedding. That all changed on our first tour of Hidden Hollow, it is a stunning venue, nestled near the foothills far away from buildings and noise it captures all the natural beauty of the valley and surrounding areas. I knew I wanted big aged trees to surround our outdoor ceremony and hidden hollow is full of them. Not only that, they have beautiful lounge areas for the wedding part to get ready and hang out in and their ballroom for indoor reception is classically beautiful. This venue looked exactly like where I pictured my wedding being, we booked with them right then and there. Hidden Hollow is family owned and run and the family that runs this venue is an amazing group of people, they are on top of absolutely everything. I planned my entire wedding up through the final few months did I hire a finishing touch coordinator and even though I consider myself to be an excellent planner, this was my first time planning a wedding, let alone my own. They were able to point out areas I hadn't thought about already and they made the entire process painless. I never felt stressed about anything, because they know how to run a wedding and do so expertly. You're able to pick from so many different spaces across the grounds to cultivate the look and feeling that fits your ceremony just right. It was no question for me the moment we walked on the grounds that I would be choosing the hollow for our ceremony as it was the thing that bought me to the venue to begin with. However, many of the other sites you can use are all beautiful. They have a grand ballroom that we used for our reception and with our wedding being in early April it was comforting to have it as a backup to also move the ceremony into should we have been so lucky to be blessed with rain on our wedding day (luckily we didn't it was sunny and beautiful). They host a tasting event where you get to meet all of their vendors you can work with for the nearly all inclusive packages, which I definitely loved, it not only was a great event it made scheduling all of my appointments to outline what I wanted with the caterer, DJ, Photographer, Bakery etc... The day of our wedding as Heather was putting the floral décor onto our cake, she opened our wedding topper and came to see me...she picked up on all of our hidden grown up Harry Potter influence in our wedding and quickly came to tell us she suspected it the whole time (my planning not my husbands). It was so cool that she had some adult appropriate Harry Potter décor she speckled throughout our wedding. The entire process was pain free and fun really. Thank you to Hidden Hollow for being the perfect container for our wedding day.

Okay y'all, strap in because I'm about to give you all the details that makes Hidden Hollow such an amazing venue from start to finish - and there are A LOT of them. First of all, Hidden Hollow is nestled in the foothills outside of Reedley, next to a tiny lake and surrounded by orange orchards. It is stunningly beautiful. I saw pictures of weddings there online, and the views were what first interested me. Pictures don't do it justice!! When my fiance and I went for a tour, we came in knowing that the price was a little high for us and we probably were going to have to say no - but after being on the property for five minutes, and after standing at the bottom of the hill under the trees and listening to the birds sing and the bees buzz, we were completely in love. Seriously, I was standing there in the Hollow and I saw the future. I literally saw myself getting married in that exact spot. Yes, Hidden Hollow is a little pricey. But that is because they include EVERYTHING that you need, minus the photographer and the officiant. They contract companies for the cake, the catering, the bar, and the dj, and they do the florals themselves. Most importantly, they take the place of a wedding planner and a day-of coordinator. Somehow Heather looked inside of my brain and discovered things I didn't even knew I knew, and she created the most perfect concept from that. The process was as stress-free as it can possibly be. They handled EVERYTHING. When you do the math for hiring all of your vendors individually, Hidden Hollow is BY FAR WORTH THE PRICE. Florals are what they do best. The package came with five bouquets, five boutonnieres, AND centerpieces for the reception. You also have the option of adding decorations and florals on as you want. Personally, I didn't think much additional was needed for ceremony decorations, because the venue itself is so freaking gorgeous. And I cried when they handed me my bouquet. It was exactly what I had envisioned. Melissa even told me that when they were putting it together, she suggested adding on ribbons because she thought it fit my personality perfectly, and she was RIGHT. For the day of, they have both a bridal suite and a groom's suite for getting ready. The groom's suite has a pool table, comfy couches, a big ol tv, and a really nice seating area out on the patio, but no restroom. But the bridal suite is absolutely FANTASTIC - it's comfortable, functional, beeeeautiful, and by the end of the afternoon, I honestly felt so at peace in there that it felt like it belonged to me. There's a huge tv and entertainment center, so you can watch Netflix or listen to music through the sound system. It also includes several makeup stations and hair dressing stations with lots of lighting and outlets, and a full-sized private bathroom - and a gorgeous baby grand piano, a huge gilded-framed mirror, and a little wine fridge. My bridesmaids and I arrived there at 9am the day of, which was as early as we were allowed, which gave us several hours to just veg and relax and drink champagne. It was an absolute dream. Also the bridal suite kind of served as the base of operations for the whole day, so the staff brought all the gifts and such to the suite after the ceremony, and it made packing up so much simpler. As a day-of coordinator, Melissa was AMAZING. Like I'm genuinely in love with her. At the end of the night I think I (kind of drunkenly, kind of not?) told her that if I hadn't just gotten married, I would have married her. She was so cool and professional all day, but also personable and lovable. She was so in control of everything, and I didn't have to worry about a thing. Having her direct us through the whole thing was such a relief. She even waited for me at the halfway point during the recessional (which is a slightly steep walk downhill from the bridal suite), and helped me change from my flats into my heels. She really knelt down and helped me put on my shoes. Which is so above and beyond that I could have cried. For real I trusted her with my life. If she had told me to take a right at the audience and walk into the lake, I WOULD HAVE. She was there from start to finish, all the way until we left for the night. Everything literally went perfectly. I didn't think that was possible, but it was absolutely perfect. It's been more than a month, and friends and family are still telling us that it was the most beautiful wedding they'd ever gone to. I am so grateful to Heather and Melissa and all of the Hidden Hollow staff for taking the time to get to know us, and for creating the most perfect day from that. I have zero regrets and I would absolutely do it again. I cannot stress how highly I recommend them!!!

My husband and I recently got married at Hidden Hollow on 11.02.19, and believe me we lucked out. This venue is an absolute 'hidden gem!' We had met with another wedding planner in June 2019, and explained to her we wanted to have our wedding in November, but to make a long story short, it didn't work out. I contacted Hidden Hollow immediately after, and was surprised with how quickly they responded to my email with detailed information on pricing and date availability. We did not want to get married on a Friday or Sunday due to family and friends traveling so, a Saturday date was an absolute must. We were fortunate to book the last Saturday for the remainder of 2019. Woohooo!! Melissa and Heather literally handled everything! Catering, bartenders, security, cake, DJ, decorations, and most important, FLORAL! The only thing we needed to do was find a photographer and wedding officiant. Hidden Hollow even made finding a photographer/videographer really easy because they schedule a tasting with the caterer, and also invite reputable vendors they have worked with in the past. The venue was even decorated to show you different options of how you want your special day to look. (Another bonus, they even help you with a timeline and seating chart-huge help!). Let's talk about floral. Hidden Hollow made my Pinterest wedding board come to life! We took a lot of our center pieces with us for a 'morning after brunch' and then brought them home for decoration. I was shocked the flower arrangements lasted another 3 weeks! (Just be sure to water the oasis). I could go on and on about how perfect this venue is, but seeing is believing so you should definitely check it out. We just sent out thank you cards and are still getting complements about how beautiful everything was. We are very thankful for all of the staff at Hidden Hollow!

Wow! My husband and I keep receiving compliments about how perfect our wedding was at Hidden Hollow. We owe A LOT of our beautiful memories to the women behind this operation. The decorations were both beautiful and timeless. Our florals were stunning. As the bride and groom, our wedding vision truly came to life at this venue. All Hidden Hollow packages are considered all-inclusive. We were very happy with the bakery, DJ, and catering company that was included. All companies were accommodating and seriously the best of the best! Our one and only complaint is there were a lot of needed "add ons" so just be ready to spend an additional $3000+. Aside from that, I highly recommend Hidden Hollow. We were so blessed to work with everyone who made our wedding a dream come true!

We followed Heather's advice and used the DJ company, cake vendor, and caterer that she usually works with.

April 2026 - All inclusive package + Extra…read more We picked this venue in June 2025, so we had about 10 months of planning. We fell in love with the grounds- they have a spacious venue with various 'yards' that we viewed in our walk through of the venue. The space is beautiful and natural, if you pay attention to what's around you - you'll notice a ton of little things like honey suckle, fish in the river, and blackberry bushes. We were contracted under their all inclusive option, so much of the planning fell onto me and my fiancé - though we were able to contact Devin, Montana, and Sierra about any questions we have. There was some wait time in response but we came to understood that they have a young family. They would connect us with or share their recommended vendors, many of them had all the items we were looking for and more! Us being rather new to formal events, Montana and Sierra walked us through what is typically expected and timelines- like father daughter dance, bouquet toss, etc and alternatives - so we could think about what we wanted to do or wanted to add. (RBR related vendors - bar / photography) Photography: Devin is really quick to respond and works with all styles of photography I had shown him from our Pinterest inspiration. He's really chill, he walked us through our first 'professional shoot'. We loved our photos that he returned to us! Bar: I forget the bar staffs name, but she was super super accommodating and informative. We brought our own items and she was able to tell us the FL oz and the range of amount for the drinks we desired at the wedding. [leading up to the wedding ] Montana and Sierra would touch base with us and had walk throughs of the facility to talk about our vision, placement, variability in placement (cause it's a huge space), and setting up of the rehearsal day and timeframes. [Day-before wedding] Rehearsal was smooth. We were able to practice as many times as we needed to get a feel for what to expect and do for the wedding. We were able to make last minute changes to the binder plan that my fiancé and I had prepared to meet a better aesthetic. Sierra promptly wrote these new notes down and walked us through pacing and what to expect as well as get our family members to be comfortable with this part of the ceremony. [Day of Wedding] POV you're me and my fiancé. We have 95% planned out and done and we're scrambling lowkey on getting our folks together and on schedule with us an our coordinators. We had some DIY we didn't get to finish - putting photos on backdrops and putting our papers on the seating chart. Sierra and co was able to finish this on our behalf so we can have our day to just be our big fun day with everyone! We never expected them to do it for us and we are so thankful that they did - albeit it was not major DIY (getting ready for the day took us longer than expected). Sierra, Devin, and Montana checked in with us to let us know our timeline for our wedding day and kept us moving so we can get all the big stuff out of the way so we can enjoy the rest of it. Sierra would check in on us to make sure we knew when to be ready by for photos with Devin, where to go for rep-entrance, and when we were done with all the mini events planned. By the end of the night, my fiancé and I were a good silly mood and so happy that we chose venue and so thankful for the team that made the day so smooth for us. They were accommodating and clear with all the little customizations we wanted for our wedding. All we had to do basically day of was bring our stuff, get ready, do our jobs, have fun, clean up our personal items (makeup clothes), and pick up our big items the next day. Our guests loved the venue, the vibes, and the staff. I would love to come here again as a guest so I can enjoy a drink by the riverbed

We all thought it was beautiful and loved how we were able to experience all areas of the ranch and not just a specific place. Sierra and Montana, our coordinators from start to finish provided an amazing experience. Sierra, the day of the wedding was such a stress free day as soon as I got to the ranch. You graciously took care of everything and made it look perfect. Devin, our photographer also was amazing to capture all of these moments for us because I had left my phone in the bridal sweet, which is by the way the cutest room to have myself, bridesmaids, and mother get dressed for the day. My husband says the same about the grooms suite. Overall, we are still dreaming about it and wish we could relive it but this day will always be talked about and remembered because everything was just perfect. Thank you River Bottom Ranch for our beautiful wedding day. Last thing actually, they are dog friendly and our dachshund was a vibe for all our guests including the staff. I could go on and on about this venue and package that they provided us but I 1000% believe this gives twilight vibes for a wedding so if you want twilight this is for you.

Beyond the logistics, she was such a joy to work with! We can't thank Vanessa enough for making our dream wedding come to life. To preface, I have experience hosting events from 50-200 guests and have worked with numerous…read morevenues and coordinators. Vanessa is by far the WORST venue coordinator I've interacted with in terms of customer service, industry knowledge, and communication skills. If you read the other positive reviews, you'll notice they ALL paid additional money for Vanessa to be their wedding coordinator. If you do not pay this, she is a horror to work with (as corroborated by the negative reviews), and I recommend AVOIDING this venue. Another reviewer also stated the owner is her brother-in-law so there is no recourse for her behavior and there are no other venue coordinators available. Detailed below are just some of the negatives: - The wedding was actually for my sister. She was having difficulties with Vanessa so asked me to assist. I reached out to Vanessa explaining who I was but never received a response. Instead, Vanessa told my sister that she felt threatened by my contact and will only work with individuals that signed the venue contract. I never said anything negative, but she often overreacted and took offense over nothing. - Every response took 2 weeks. She would contradict herself in the same email, which added confusion. - She would use made up lingo and when asked for clarification, she would blame us for not understanding "industry language" and still wouldn't clarify. In my 10 years, I've never heard some of the terms that she used. - She didn't understand standard wedding requests. We asked for a cake table and Vanessa responded that the request was unclear because she didn't know what size a cake table should be. We asked to add 2 rectangular side tables for guestbooks, gifts, etc. On the proposal, Vanessa commented "unsure why the client requested". - Unless asked, she wouldn't disclose critical information. We asked multiple times if additional tables (sweetheart, cocktail, etc.) are free. Vanessa confirmed they were free, but once the proposal arrived, it showed free tables with each linen at an additional charge. I told my sister to confirm if the venue provided cake cutting utensils. They don't (which is fine) but this is all information that you tell your clients without prompting. Imagine cutting the cake with no utensils! - When asked questions, she rudely responded with "NO" or "YOU'RE RESPONSIBLE" - In the 1.5 years of planning, despite multiple requests, the venue proposal was only updated twice - once for the initial contract and once when full payment was due 30 days before the event. My sister had to withhold final payment to get her to update it. She updated it 1 week after with inaccurate information. We annotated and returned it next day saying that she'd pay once it was correct. Vanessa had the audacity to respond that making notes on the proposal made it seem like they were stalling payment. Granted, there were 1-2 new updates amongst many more corrections but it was because Vanessa withheld information, and new adjustments were required after seeing the revised proposal for the 1st time. - Vanessa never provided a table layout. My sister had to create it and then confirmed if 5 round tables per row would work. On wedding day, we arrived to a different layout of 4 rounds per row. Vanessa blamed it on a 2 ft. wide photo arch, stating that she had to make adjustments to fit an arch that was discussed weeks prior. However, it was evident that the room would have NEVER fit 5 rounds per row. We had to rearrange the seating chart and the chairs to accommodate for her mess. - Also on wedding day, Vanessa was surprised to find the timeline included a champagne toast. Mind you, the timeline was provided 30 days ago and toasts are standard in weddings. So, she gave us 30 mins to decide on the additional champagne cost. I asked to remove 1 champagne bottle charge as there was an entire table of kids, but she refused. So apparently, the venue includes children in the champagne count even though serving alcohol to minors is illegal. - There was also a safety hazard. About 25 chairs with wheels/casters were intermingled with standard dining chairs. I unknowingly sat in a chair with casters and almost fell. There was no visible difference between the standard chairs vs. chairs with casters, and the table linens prevent anyone from seeing the casters. I told Vanessa who saw no issues and argued that people falling out their chair has never happened before. Thankfully, we were able to get these all replaced prior to the wedding to avoid any older guests from getting hurt. To the owner: Not only is Vanessa horrible to clients, but since she never updated the proposal, the kitchen used the original headcount and cooked 40 additional meals (talk about a waste of money). Also, due to not providing a table layout, the banquet captain Griselda set up tables once, and then had to come back 1 hr earlier to redo it, making staff do avoidable extra work.
