Wonthaggi has developed a surprisingly large collection of eateries over the years…read more Picasso's is a bit of a mixed bag- they have had a few changes of ownership in their time, and there are still fragments of the pizza restaurant that date back the the "Zia's" days. In more recent years the restaurant has been purchased by an Indian family, so the restaurant has combined both Indian and Italian cuisine. In my opinion, this is a little gem that seems to have been largely overlooked. This is some of the best Indian food you will ever get the chance to eat. Can't say I've had a pizza there in years (in the old days they made the best vegetarian pizzas with all seasonal vegetables)- but if you want good Indian, this is the place to go. I've introduced several people to this restaurant now & they have all loved it and will continue to come back. The interior is a little unusual and could use a touch up- it's definitely not fine dining but then there's not really anywhere in Wonthaggi that is- but if you like Indian cuisine, do yourself a favour and check this place out- you won't be disappointed.
