It's just Kohl's. I…read morenever had anything against Kohl's, but when there was an abundance of Kohl's mixed in with so many other department stores within a ten-mile radius, I generally overlooked it (I'm not from around here). It wasn't a store I regularly shopped at. Target was my love. Now? It's the only decent department store in town. Funny how things change. The selection is good -- stocked with clothes, home goods, bedding, shoes, and all the usual stuff. The pricing? Eek. I think I'm just so used to finding things from thrift stores and Walmart (meh) now. You're better off buying things on sale --- the prices will be good then and the quality far better than Walmart (duh). I did find a good pair of moccasins for $25 one day, though. Not bad at all. I'll be back occasionally to check things out but don't know much I'll actually be purchasing. Regardless, I'm happy to have Kohl's!

Maurice's isn't the best clothing store ever, nor is it supposed to be upscale or cater to ladies beyond 30 years old, but hey -- it's an option. This location? Well, a bit smaller than others. And the clothes seemed more trendy/club-ish/expensive than usual, too. Basic tank tops ran $12+ -- eek. There seemed to be more black, glittery, lacy top than anything else. Where were all the flannel shirts and casual tees? Shoe selection was very limited. Jeans were reasonably priced, but the quality wasn't there. I don't know. Maybe my expectations were skewed. Pricing was on the higher side, but not over the top or unreasonable. The boutique sits as at the very end of road. Parking is street parking in downtown Midway.
