We brought in our mower that was 2 months out of warranty. It wouldn't start (it had a guaranteed…read moreto start system). We were told the carburetor was clogged. We paid for the repair and tune up, and when we got it back, it was extremely loud, apparently, during the repair he had punctured the muffler. I asked if he would fix it, but he wanted to charge extra to fix the muffler. This was just a month outside of the warranty, and with it. Still being a pretty new lawnmower we were expecting it to be back to new condition after repair Over the summer, it continued to struggle to start, but it would start. Now about six months after the repair, it's not starting, the muffler is still loud and shot, and it almost feels like more damage was done to the lawnmower than was repaired. It looks like we need to pay to get it fixed again, but at this point, we're wondering if we should just buy a new one because of all of the extra damage. Even with the noise canceling headphones the damaged muffler is so loud that it makes it hard to mow having autism spectrum disorder. A part of me has wondered if I even got the right lawn mower back. I'm pretty sure I did, but there were new issues after the repair that didn't exist before.

My walk behind lawn mower had stopped working, and wouldn't start, no matter what I did. I saw…read moregreat reviews for Neighborhood Lawnmower Repair and decided to give them a try. I made the 30 minute drive with my mower to the repair shop. The man I dropped off the lawnmower to was friendly, knowledgeable, and provided me a time frame of at least 3 weeks, which was perfectly understandable. He gave me an estimate of $127-187, mainly from the tune up. He said he would contact me before he added on any parts, which would raise the price. 30 days had passed, and I had left a few messages with him (about day 26-30). Unfortunately, I did not receive a return call. Day 40 arrived and I was getting worried because I could not reach someone at Neighborhood Lawnmower Repair. By this time, I had payed a business to service our lawn about 3-4 times. I called the repair shop and finally received a call back. I was told the mower had received a tune-up and a new carburetor. I did not receive a call about the added part, which would have helped in deciding whether to keep the mower or not. I stopped by to get the mower, and when he tested it, it did work. He apologized, I accepted and left. Although I disliked wasting time and fuel, I also realized he could have just let me leave with a non-functioning lawn mower. The next week, he told me what he did to get it running again, and it would be ready for pick up. I returned and he started up the mower for me. It worked, sounded good and was ready for mowing. That's when I received the hardest hit...$222 and change. That was a HUGE hit, especially when I wasn't informed it would be that high. I payed, took my mower and went on my way. I had did the math: The repair's total was $222 + $180 for lawn service, which equals $402...the price of a good electric mower. The good: Neighborhood Lawn Care knows how to repair, tune-up and recommend lawn mowers. They are an honest company, when it comes to releasing a working/repaired mower. They could have let me leave with a non working mower the first time, but didn't. The bad: Neighborhood Lawn Care suffers from poor communication with customers regarding almost every step of the process. I understand business can be overwhelming, especially when there is a lot to work on. However, good communication will keep people coming back. I didn't know what was going on with my mower for 40 days -- no call and couldn't reach anyone. I was told one price as a variable estimate, only to have a sizably large price increase. When I asked for a possible discount for the non-communication, wasted trip, extremely long wait and sticker shock, I was told that was a discounted price. If you have the time to wait over a month with no communication and the large amount of money to spend on your mower, this is the place for you. They do know how to fix mowers. However, (for me), this just wasn't worth the wasted time, fuel and money.

we paid 2grand for a one way U-Haul and auto transport we were told if we load up the truck today…read morewe can come back tonight to attach the auto transport since we have never done this before. So we come back the guy we spoke to said he'd be there until 9pm we show up at 8pm and he was no where to be found which would have been okay if the guy who was there had ever hooked up a auto transport and loaded a car. Mind you I'm very pregnant we go inside ask him for the tutorial and he said "I've never done this before" so we tell him call the owner we spoke to and he did. However the owner picked up and said I have a wife and kid at home I'm not coming back. We were in shock after him saying he would be here and us paying 2 grand. So my pregnant self and boyfriend try to hook of the trailer ourselves after 40 minutes we get just trailer connected while the cashier guy continuously asks if he can go because he COLD watching us. I then got very upset and yelled at him "call your fucking owner because he said he'd be here, you're COLD!? I'm pregnant!" He called the owner again and again only to get hung up on over and over. We had some random man come up to us and help us load our vehicle. After we get the car loaded I went back inside and told him I want his owners number and he said "our job is to rent trucks we don't help you hook anything up, we rent." I told him I've went through U-Haul before and have always been completely helped because that's your guys job. He said "ma'am that's not our job we rent trucks" so I asked again I want that in writing, print me out something that says that. He refused of course and said "wait til the owner sees you on the camera then he might do something." We left because we leave at 5am tomorrow morning. Never rent here unless you have worked for U-Haul yourself.

Jared came for the initial assessment and estimate of what I needed to move. We walked through…read moreevery room in my house and Jared made notes. At the end of the walk through, Jared reviewed what it would take to move all of my belongings and reassured me that all items to be moved would easily fit into their standard moving van. He also said he, Jared, would arrive on the day of the move with a crew of very capable and experienced guys. However, in the day of the move Jared never showed and left me with crew with very little experience. From the very start leader expressed to me that he had doubts that everything would fit in the truck and subsequently the storage unit I had, the size of which I chose based on Jared's reassurances. From the very beginning, the crew repeatedly packed and repacked the truck to make it all fit and by the time it was fully loaded and ready to go to the storage unit they had been working for 5+ hours which was already more than the 4.5 hours I was told would be the time for the entire move, loading and unloading. When we reached the storage unit, the process was repeated. The crew began unloading but each person had a different opinion of how to get everything in the storage units. By the time everything was out of the truck and stored away, it was past 9 pm. Eleven plus hours from start to finish. At that point, the lead crew member spoke with Jared, he blamed everything on me as if my input caused them to turn into absolute morons who couldn't move their way out of a paper bag. I was present for the entire move but the only suggestions or requests I made were only made when the crew leader came to me and asked what he should do. I did ask, since I had rented 2 storage units that they try to put the furniture in the indoor unit. But when I saw the confusion that ensued, I simply told them to pack as they saw fit and that I did not want to get in their way.I I would not recommend Robinson Relocations to anybody. I think Jared is a crook! Please beware!!!

They were nice and upfront with costs when I reached out for an estimate and were ready to answer my questions. On the day of, these guys all showed up ready to work, were very friendly, and had great attitudes. They didn't waste time and were quick without sacrificing care for my stuff. Recommend them 100% and will be keeping them in mind if and when I look to move again. Just a quick update: I used these guys again for a long distance move from Cincinnati to Georgia and they were once again a great company to work with. They were on time and had great attitudes which is always a huge plus when you're dealing with the stress of a move. Glad to have had two positive moving experiences with these guys.
