He's a crook. I went there a while back to have my Corvette worked on. He gave me an estimate and never said that the diagnostic fee wasn't waved. And the receipt didn't specify it. If he had told me that the diagnostic fee wasn't waived, I would have never had my Corvette worked on. And he's lucky that I didn't report him to the BBB. I should have. But always hindsight right? Anyway, I do not recommend him and I never will because like I said he's a crook and he knows he is. I mean he's smart. He knows his stuff but he's still a crook. Very dishonest man. I'll tell you what could improve, be honest and tell people up front that the diagnostic fee is not waived if you get the work done there. This is what he told me. If you get the work done at the time The repairs are recommended. The diagnostic fee would be waived. When I get there he tells me that is only on smog tests and brakes. Like I said I should have reported him to the BBB. It was a while ago. But if I ever meet another person like him in the future they will be reported to the BBB. But in the meantime go find somebody honest. You know it Alfred, stop being a crook. read more

Told the guy over the phone it's unfortunate he couldn't tell me the lights were going to fail over before I paid and he started raising his voice so I hung up and drove in. He was very upset causing @ me telling me hanging up is not the way. Yet him raising his voice and cussing @ paying customers sure is the way. read more

Came here today to get a check up on my car and an oil change. I've been having an annoying squeaking noise and everyone seemed to tell me it was this or that, usually something different then what someone else says. Hi-Tech was able to find out the problem, I had an exhaust leak and they were able to fix it for me! No more embarrassing squeaking noise when I drive around town. I left my car here and it took a few hours until it was ready. Reasonable price too, whatever I would have paid at the dealership to just have them check my car without fixing anything, I paid here to fix the problem plus an oil change! I have a few other things for me to fix on my car and I will definitely be bringing it back here for whatever problems I may have in the future. I put all my trust into Hi-Tech! read more

I have a Honda Hybrid, charge engine light came on. Found Hi-Tech thru Google, once they found the problem Victor called and explain why the fuse kept going out. Going to auto repair shops intimidate me always feel like i ask dumb questions. I felt very comfortable speaking to Victor, he answered my questions in detail. Repair was reasonable. I will definitely take my car back to Hi-Tech Auto. If you all need hybrid repairs, call them first. Thank you Victor and your team for the timely repair! read more

Brought my Malibu here about a year ago to replace the AC compresor. I bought the part he just charged me for the install. Recently I brought my Tahoe for breaks. I though all four would need replacing but the mechanic showed me the rear was good to go and still has some life. I was able to save some money. The guy is straight forward which I like, some people are just really sensitive. I hope I don't need to but I'll be back for future services. read more

This place is hands down the worst mechanic experience I ever had, after my car didn't pass smog I brought it here to have it looked it. After holding my car for 3 days they called me and said it would $5,500 for a engine replacement. They just didn't want to deal with fixing my car because it's a bmw. Feeling defeated and looking what credit card to put this on I called a bmw mechanic. Only to find out it needed to have the 02 sensors replaced... a less than $600 job. This place legitimately tried to steal $5000 from me. Don't not ever go here or to the Palmdale locations, absolute lairs! If you come here at least get a second opinion before you lose out on $1,000s. read more

They did an ok job , considering I had an alarm installed ( i bought the alarm seperate ) charged me $500 for the install They charged me 200 dollars over the original quote . I specifically asked them to leave out a component on my install and they didn't , which that component then failed and I had to fix myself ... and when asked why it was $200 over quote they told me there was a $100 dollar charge for replacing a wire ... one wire ! And another $100 for over time I did give them a 3 star but back to 1 star .... they threw away the manuals to my alarm !!! Place was better when ed owned it... read more

My check engine light came on right before a road trip and Hi-Tech Auto was able to get me in right away, ran test and were able to tell me the issue within an hour. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Great professional auto place in Lancaster read more

Beware. Came in for a special brake and light inspection. First time, they noted some errors then said I could come back for a retest at the basic rate. When I came back in they wanted to charge me double the rate to conduct a spec lookup that had already been completed. They could not explain to me all the testing criteria. Took the car to another mechanic who passed the car for half the price. Get your promises in writing. read more

I think I found my car guys. Went in for a brake and light inspection. Was quick, They know what they are doing and did not tack on more money for bogus repairs. First time I trust a car place. If I am ever in need of repairs this is where I will go. Thank guys, you rock. read more

I took my vet to Hi-Tech Auto in Lancaster. They do excellent work and explain to you what your car needs and they use original factory parts for your vehicle from the manufacturer. Victor is very nice and carries a very nice conversation with you about pretty much anything. The reason for the 3 stars is because he did not disclose to me that the diagnostic fee was not waived If the repairs were done at his facility. On the estimate that he gave me it said that the fee would be waived if the required repairs were performed at the time of the inspection. He explained that was only for certain things. The problem is, the estimate doesn't mention those certain things, it keeps it pretty lose and doesn't mention anything specific. He should make up new estimate sheets that disclose those certain things he mentioned to me. Because of his dishonesty and not being honest with me up front about the diagnostic charge when I first dropped my car off at his facility, I will no longer be using him for any car repairs in the future. This was my first and last time using Hi-Tech Auto, and I own 4 vehicles. Other then that, he is really good and knows his stuff when it comes to cars. He just needs to be upfront and honest with you about everything, not just certain things. Be honest Victor! Don't do to other people what you did to me! It's not right! read more

Hi Tech auto gave me a price for two new transmission hoses at $280. They called and wanted to add another $120 to complete the job with new transmission clamps. I would have shopped around if I knew price gouging was going on at this establishment. Shop around before going with this shop. read more

My son's car broke down and he got towed here. They were busy but squeezed him in because we live 2 hours away. Diagnosed and fixed problem at a reasonable price.
