If you're coming in during the late afternoon looking for tea and crumpets, you're in the wrong place. But if you're looking for some kick-ass Asian tea, pho or Thai food, you'll be perfectly happy. Don't let the name fool you; this is far more than just tea. It's a small shop in a retail strip center, but it packs a powerful punch with a vast menu of made-to-order food and any concoction of tea (boba and more) than you can imagine. Service is friendly, although be patient since everything is cooked to order, it can take a little. This is a wonderful addition to the Herriman landscape!

The rare beef and brisket pho was pretty authentic and flavorful. Service was great and the dining area was clean.

Friendly staff, great food, amazing drinks! The boba was made to perfection. We got the cream cheese wontons, tofu pad Thai, and shrimp fried rice and the food came out fast and it was delicious!

    Notes about order

The service is terrible. The online ordering offered a place to not food allergies/sensitivities/preferences; but, their order confirmation systems did not retain those notes; so, I called to ask if they received my notes. Their employee needs to be trained better and supervised on how they are on the phone with customers -- I couldn't hear her, and could only guess as to what she was saying. I also paid for extra meat, and was not given extra shrimp, instead I was given red-meat which I didn't request and I can't have. They have no website to check on ingredients. I trusted that the employee understood what I said on the phone, I trusted their online ordering systems and processes. My trust was misplaced, and I began reactions consistent with the ingredients that my notes prohibited.

Fantastic food, service was great! Boba and Pho and wonderful people. We will be coming back soon for sure. Love it!

First time trying Hi-Tea and it was amazing, a very clean and friendly environment. Highly recommend to anyone that loves boba and teas.

Very clean and nice staffs here. I came in for boba for my wife and a passion fruit tea and I was not disappointed at all, I ended up getting their pho and pad Thai and boy that was really good and flavor. Don't let this one pass up if you're near by here.

Great foods and choices, check it out!

Best Pho I've had in the salt lake valley, & I've tried them all. And the spring rolls were also amazing. Will be back for sure!

Sadly, some of the non-alcoholic coffee concoctions were only listed in-person on their menu, not on the website so I had a hard time deciding on the spot (I got you yelp-ers back: attached photos are their coffee options!). After ordering, we noticed there was no seating indoors whatsoever (all taken up by other customers studying, chilling, eating). This type of situation builds anxiety. Where am I to sit with my breakfast burrito? Where am I to sit with my espresso martini? I looked around and decided to just sit outdoors in about 40 degree weather with high winds. Although unpleasant and freezing, I was not left standing around holding both drink and food in hand.

There were not many options even open on a Sunday morning in the area of Day Break where we were located. We almost didn't even go in here because, from the street, this location looked closed. The crisp cold temps kept everyone indoors so I am really glad we double checked the front door, because we would have missed out on a hidden gem of a spot! We got there early enough that there was only one person working, which initially wasn't an issue, but as our visit went on, a line formed, and I even put back, on the shelf, an intended purchase of coffee beans because I wanted to visit more than I wanted to stand in a line. I ordered an iced Americano with sugar free Hazelnut and a splash of half and half to drink and a Pesto Grilled Cheese on Sourdough to eat. I knew it would be an easy food item to take any leftovers on the plane. Although the indoor space had enough seats for this particular morning visit, I am not sure how well it seats everyone on a typical morning rush. The outdoor space would be my preferred seating location but only when it is warmer temps so I definitely plan to come back and stay longer. The vibe is super chill, the flavor of the coffee was strong and rich, nothing bitter or burnt and we all found something we loved to both eat and drink. Dogs are definitely welcome too and I can see this coffee house becoming a neighborhood favorite very quickly! I wish I had stuck it out and waited in line as I'd love to make a batch of cold brew coffee from their beans now that I am back home in California! Maybe next time!

So over priced and coffee tastes mid. Also no option to order online. It's 2025? Get it together.read more
