This is a newer spot by our house so we decided to check it out. We came in and it was just my husband and I and we weren't greeted when walked up to the counter to order our drinks which made us felt uncomfortable already. What was more disappointing is when a Caucasian person walked in, the staff jumped up and greeted the customer with joy as well as the "manager" came out and talked to them stating that their business was new, etc but didn't acknowledged us at all as we were waiting for our drinks. This happened twice as we were in here.. Again, no one else was in here. Seems like the business is aiming for a particular type of customer. The drinks were decent and the boba were kinda hard which was disappointing. Overall, nothing special and probably won't be back due to the service. Cute little pho shop. It's hard to find pho let along good pho down this way of Utah. So glad it's close to home. Their menu is HUGE!! Menu is on 6 screens. It was a bit overwhelming. The gal at the counter was so patient and so kind with answering any questions. Service was really fast. They even made fresh boba for us. We ordered pho, pad Thai, birds nest and boba. The pho was super flavorful. Noodles were perfect. Their chili sauce?? Will clear everything. It's soo good and actually spicy!! Pad Thai was mid. It was on the sweeter side. The birds nest...wow!!! So good. I haven't been able to find a restaurant who makes birds nest and this one was one of the best! Boba was good. The taro had actual taro pieces. Brown sugar was super good! We tried the brisket pho and beef/broccoli rice dish. Brisket pho was okay. The broth was on the light side but noodles was good. The beef/broccoli though was not good. The beef was hard as rubber. It was evident that they rushed in cooking the beef on high and didn't let tenderize. Had a hard time eating it. Not sure if we will go back to this place. read more

Don't let the name fool you; this is far more than just tea. It's a small shop in a retail strip center, but it packs a powerful punch with a vast menu of made-to-order food and any concoction of tea (boba and more) than you can imagine. The service is terrible. The online ordering offered a place to not food allergies/sensitivities/preferences; but, their order confirmation systems did not retain those notes; so, I called to ask if they received my notes. Their employee needs to be trained better and supervised on how they are on the phone with customers -- I couldn't hear her, and could only guess as to what she was saying. I also paid for extra meat, and was not given extra shrimp, instead I was given red-meat which I didn't request and I can't have. They have no website to check on ingredients. I trusted that the employee understood what I said on the phone, I trusted their online ordering systems and processes. My trust was misplaced, and I began reactions consistent with the ingredients that my notes prohibited. read more

Ok, where to begin. The Pho was good. Portion wise was ok. I ordered a LARGE bowl but it was more of a medium bowl. (I get full off of large at other Pho places, but here I didn't) The amount of time they put in making a boba was the longest. The use too much ICE and it felt like just a few sips. But all this is just my opinion. I'd say not really worth the place to try. If you like that's cool, but it's just me. Employees were nice. But small portions on everything. Really yummy and authentic counter service Vietnamese food and good boba too! Everything we had was good (pho, spicy noodle soup, popcorn chicken, taro milk tea boba, and egg rolls). My in-laws immigrated from Vietnam and we eat a lot of Vietnamese food. This place is the real deal and locally owned. My only knock would be that if you're JUST going out for pho it's not the giant portion size and meat variety you might want. But the broth is delicious and it's great for what it is. If you're looking for a variety of dishes though or to get some bubble tea with your meal, this is your place. We'll be back often. read more

Went yesterday for the first time. I think this will only work for take-out. The previous business was a french fry place. Seating is very limited and uncomfortable. I been trying to get Pho near Herriman since I moved here 4 years ago. So far, only a place off 90th West is worth eating. At Hi-Tea, the Pho was small portioned, over priced and not great quality. I got Pho Tai (Rare Beef) and there was very little of it in my Large Size Soup. The basil, bean sprouts, lemon and jalapenos were served in a paper basket and a small amount of hoisin and sriracha were mixed in a small plastic cup. If you want more you need to ask. Even the spoons were lacking; very small and sheet metal. I was pretty disappointed. My wife got the Szechuan Chicken Stir Fry with Rice. She said it was good and the red peppers were excellent. Again, if you want soy sauce, you need to request it. There are no condiments on the table. The staff was young and pretty nonchalant. Pretty sad overall. My search continues. read more
