There's a small area the kids can take their shoes off and play in. Some squishes and slime they can go into (it's hard and doesn't stick to clothes!). They also have the "get slimed" station. I believe it's $30 and from the looks of it, it's just blue water. Didn't seem worth it to me. But my kids loved watching! The best part is being able to make your own slime! You can pick the consistency, smell and color! And as an added bonus you can pick out 3 charms! There's no food or drinks allowed in and they have a complimentary coat/bag check! Take a picture of your bag in case you drop your ticket! In addition, I find it hilarious that people are complaining about the price. Of course the place raises the price during peak hours. Now do I think $56 for a ticket is steep, yes! But plan ahead and always purchase tickets ahead of time! We paid $135 for 3 and were there almost 3 hours! You could spend probably a whole day here but it's fair to budget just a few hours to a half a day too depending on how much playtime you want to give them. The games area is fun too. They have bowling, giant dominos, checkers, and corn hole. My daughter also appreciated the tiny room with miniature versions of everything. A lot of the tinkering and building stuff relied on recycled materials which you could easily find at home so the experience maybe could inspire for after visiting creative projects. I actually myself enjoyed the painting lab. Since the exhibits change from time to time I think I would come back. I understand that kids must have an accompanying adult, but when you add the non-local pricing up, it's $100 for a family with two kids. I guess everything is expensive in touristy areas like this but it does make this visit somewhat prohibitively expensive when you could, for example, visit the zoo for free. Half an hour before my party on Sunday Brian calls to ask me if I had paid for outside food and cake I said yes and informed him Adrianna had booked my party and even took off the pizzas I had originally ordered and was told to ask for her if there were any issues, he said ok and hung up. When I got there at 1 to check in for my party the manager Sky tells me I had not paid for outisde food or cake. I informed him I had and the issue I experienced about booking my party and how they moved it. He went on to say with a snarky attitude and I quote "Well Im the manager not adrianna, she is just an assistant I have the final say so you have to pay" I then asked why did they wait till the day of and time of the party to inform me I still had a balance. Sky told me Brian had called me to mention they would be charging me another 88, Brian was standing at the next register, so I asked him why did you not inform me when you called? He plainly lied to my face and said I did ( i really hope they record phone calls) I had nothing else to say to him so I turned to Sky and said "Your employee is blantly lying to me in my face" Im almost a 40 year old woman i had no need to lie. Sky went on to say that it was my fault because I didnt wait for a phone call to go over my party details. I informed him I had gone over with adrianna, I also took care of my balance with him directly saturday ( which he made no mention of) and they still didnt inform me when they called me 30 mins before. My party guests began to arrive and line up behind us, I was highly embarrassed by Sky's rudeness to me and more to my husband. I informed him that I would pay whatever extra charge so he could let us in. As he took my payment he continued to make side remarks one of which being "Adrianna will be here at 3 so if you have any problems you can take it up with her." I felt as if he made the remake to try and intimidate me or scare me not sure to which I responded perfect thank you for that information. ( Tip:As a manager you don't disclose employee start times for safety precautions especially to an upset customer). I paid the balance and was let in. As mentioned some of my guests were waiting there is a birthday express lane for birthday parties and a line for paying customers. Sky stepped aside and was texting on his phone (from 1:18 to about 1:40) while Brian attented to the long line of paying customers and birthday guests. My guests waited over 15 mins to check in. I personally had filled out a waiver for my senior father the day before, they claimed they didnt have one on file (even tho I had proof.of email) honestly it felt that sky and Brian were looking for anything to ruin the rest of the party and they would have succeeded had it not been for Adrianna, sarah and Schovon. Adrianna immediately came over when she started and profusely apologized and she also seemed genuinely confused as to why I was charged again. ( She may be the assistant but she had more professionalism, understanding and exceptional customer service skills than Sky did, he could learn from her instead of all the arrogance he carries) Schovvon and Sarah were very tentative to my party and guests making sure everything went smoothly. Honestly I would have gave 5 stars but the "manager's" arrogance and rudeness played a major role in my review. I would hate for our community to lose such a great place due to a manager's customer service like the other place across the way.
