My girlfriends and I wanted an alternative to girl's night out and we decided to gift ourselves something out of the ordinary. We are all in different paths in our lives, but we all wanted to have fun creating new memories celebrating the women we are today. Sandra's experience behind the lens was such an asset as she was able to guide us thru poses that really complemented the contour of our bodies. Not only did she introduce us to a plethora of different concepts, she also listened to our ideas and really made them come to life. Everything from the hotel to the music to the complimentary champagne and strawberries was just perfect. In fact, we had so much fun that we are already planning our anniversary shoot next year! And the shots are INCREDIBLE! It is so hard to choose, we want them ALL! I could not recommend Sandra more! All you girlfriends out there, this is your moment to make it happen. Lee did my hair and makeup creating a glamorous and flirty look. All I have to say is, watch out Tyra... you have some competition! They created a comfortable environment and helped me get in the mood with an upbeat music playlist that unleashed my inner diva. The overall experience was thrilling to say the least. I truly felt like a super model in New York shooting the cover of Vogue magazine. I was overwhelmed with joy when I saw the quality of the pictures. They were absolutely flawless and captured my inner beauty. I cried and said, "Wow, is that really me?!" I'm still in awe of the phenomenal photographic skill set Leslie possesses. She is a true artist. You might ask why I applied for the Lavish Boudoir Body Love Project. Well, my passion has always been plus size modeling and my dream is to one day be featured in a glitzy magazine or online representing a classy company like Lavish Boudoir. I was told when I met Leslie in person that I was picked sight unseen for this project. She loved my story. I spoke from my heart and here it is... I decided to change my life 4 years ago and make myself a priority. I learn how to live a sober and sassy life, one day at a time. My daughter Presli was my reason why. She deserves the world and I planned on giving it to her. I worked very hard to put all of my broken pieces back together. I learned to love myself and that I was worth it. My mission now is to empower other likeminded women and to lead by example. My favorite quote is " I love the woman I have become, because I fought to become her." I am turning 40 soon and I truly believe there is beauty in every age. I choose to love my body as it is right now and to celebrate my many accomplishments. I will never allow somebody to tell me I can't do something, not even myself. If you have a desire and it burns deep within your soul, I say go for it. When I got to Lavish Boudoir I was in awe. These photos are beautiful. Sign me up! And I'm so glad I did. The whole process made me feel like a superstar. Started with a beverage, makeup done by a professional and a multiple outfit photoshoot throughout various places in the studio. The photographer, Leslie doesn't just take incredible photos, she also made the experience fun. Yes, at first it's odd to be in lingerie around someone you don't know, but because of Leslie and the professionalism of her company I was extremely comfortable and relaxed. Then the reveal of the photos was also a luxurious experience. To this day, I look at my photos and feel gorgeous and elated that I chose Lavish Boudoir.

The most unprofessional experience I've ever encountered with a photgrapher…read more Paul is the sole photgrapher with this company. I will keep this simple and stick to the most recent points of interest for anyone considering using this company for their photography or videography needs. After negotiating an agreement for Paul to both record Video and Photograph an event in Washington DC, Paul dropped and broke his camera. He has held all photographs and video (it's been over a month now), demanding that we pay for his repairs. He sold packages at our event, and has with held these as well, deciding instead to attempt to illicit pressure from our clients to get us to pay for his carelessness in order to have what they have purchased released. Paul has threatened me for posting a negative review. However I do feel that people should be warned prior to using someone like this. There are so many quality photgraphers in the DMV that no one should have to subject themselves to someone who lacks integrity.

I've known for years that I have wanted to hire Sarah to do the photography for my wedding--when I…read morefirst saw her work, I instantly fell in love with her style. By her own admission, Sarah works much more in a photojournalistic style; she focuses on telling a story through her photos, capturing moments and images that are both evocative and beautiful. I also appreciated that her portfolio was more muted and subtle with light and color. I personally find that many photographers are much too bright, even over-exposed, and I didn't want to have to worry about that. Going into the wedding planning, I knew that photography was going to be the largest single thing my wife and I were going to spend money on, so our expectations were high. Despite those high expectations, Sarah still absolutely blew us away! She was professional, communicative, and extremely easy to work with. Going in, Sarah was clear to ask us questions and get clarification for what we wanted from her. Even though she was travelling from doing a wedding the day before in another state, she was punctual, timely, and ready to go. She was perfectly unobtrusive during all the key moments of the day, yet managed to capture them beautifully. She took requests with grace, and even prompted us for photos during the reception that we were exceedingly grateful to have. She took to heart the requests we had made prior to the wedding and followed through with them with precision and care. More than anything else, I was extremely impressed with her vision and direction. Her experience spoke volumes--she was able to guide my wife and I with clarity and directness, while never pushing us or making us feel rushed. Consequently, we have an absolute abundance of really unique photos in a variety of backdrops and settings, all displaying us in our day of bliss. And with the whirlwind that is the wedding day, it has given us so much joy to look through them all again and relive all those moments. I cannot recommend Sarah highly enough!
