We fell in love with her spirit and her amazing photos. She is hands down the most affordable, best deal money can buy in the DC area. We chose a package that included an engagement photo shoot and her service all day at the wedding. She has an uncanny way of capturing details, relationships, and fun. We literally laughed and cried out loud from the emotion that we got from both our engagement pictures and our wedding photos. Her photo journalistic style really told the story of our entire wedding. It was truly amazing. Olivia even surprised us by bringing a second photographer with her for the entire day, free of charge. Literally, they were with us from 9am to 11pm! The span of photos they took was truly impressive, and the quality was breathtaking. You will not be disappointed by Olivia's character, work ethic, and tremendous skill. We hope that we can use her again when we need to capture another memory.

He was so friendly, upbeat, and brought such great energy throughout the day. One of my favorite moments was watching him give our friends and family little photography tips while they were taking pictures of us on their phones. It was such a funny and thoughtful touch. He was professional, dedicated, and captured every important moment beautifully. The final photos exceeded our expectations, and everything was delivered on time. We're so happy with the results and would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a talented photographer who is also a joy to work with.

When we decided to do this photo shoot, we wanted that artist to show the world our love story and…read morecapture every moment and detail in each photo from the begining until the end. We are so grateful that we met Serge and had the ability/talent to bring that out of us into reality. Our story begins with me and my wife meeting at the gym in a cycle studio for the first time years ago. The gym is our most sacret place for both of us. So we agreed to discuss our ideas to Serge. His reaction became very possitive, motivating which gave us the confident that we needed. My wife is also a coffee lover and he suggested to take some pictures in a fancy coffee shot. It was hilarious and different but absolutely loved it!! We also both love nature and like to spend time outdoors. He took us to a magical place that is relaxing and unforgettable. We had a specific time of the day to perform our photo shoot, unfortunately, we were running late and my wife was very worried if we would have enough time to fit all our plans. At the same time Serge had other appointments after our photo shoot. He called to check on us to see if everything was as planned. We then explained the situation. Took it so calm and professionally that he understood what we were going through. This helped build back our confidence and encouraged us to continue as we talk about. Planning for a huge photshoot does take alot of time and energy to make it perfect. He explained that everything will be amazing but it wasn't amazing, it was EXTREMELY WONDERFUL AND BEYONG OUR EXPECTATIONS. We shared our ideas with him and later brought everything we mention to reality. It was all detailed to perfection and nothing was left out. He's skills were organized neatly that it was breathtaking. The experience we had was so much fun, exciting, and perfect that we can't stop talking about it and thanking Sokolov Photgraphy for everything they did for us. That's why we want to share this incredible experience with everyone. Once again, thank you Serge for the time and effort you put into our pictures. It means so much to us. And we love every single on of them. Rob & Cindy

He captured everything asked for on our shot list, and exceeded expectations. My boss, who is very particular on the types of photos we use for promoting the conference, said that every time she found a good moment to capture on her cell phone, Ben was right there already taking the photo. The photos were delivered post-conference in a timely manner and they are exactly what we had hoped for. If we return to DC for an event, we will be reaching out to DCEvent Photo. Thanks again, Ben!

We hired Kimberly in late 2017 to capture our maternity, birth and Fresh48 photos. It was my second…read morebirth and I had a good sense of what I wanted in the photos; Kimberly did not disappoint. First, Kimberly's photos are really beautiful. She has a great eye for her subject and the surrounding area. I don't usually consider myself a very photogenic person but in Kimberly's photos I feel really pleased with how I look. She is able to account for the weather and incorporate the environment. Overall the finished product that we received was just what we'd wanted and as soon as I find time between chasing a toddler and nursing an infant I plan to get a number of them printed and hung in my home. Second, she's really easy to work with. Kimberly was flexible when we had to decide on plans at the last minute due to the nature of our situation. She was really communicative and made sure she understood the types of photos and the "feel" of the photo collection we were looking for (eg, I really wanted the "story" of my birth chronicled and she did just that, including a beautiful photo montage that I could share with friends and family). I felt very at ease with her and appreciated her professionalism and knowledge. Third, she works really hard and is constantly pushing herself to improve. Ours was one of the first births she'd shot so she went out of her way to research birth photography, find a few births to shoot in advance, and check in with us about what was important to us based on what she learned. I felt really encouraged by her active engagement and participation and I was not disappointed in the result. To sum up: Kimberly is a true professional with incredible skill and an adept eye. I would recommend her in a heartbeat and look forward to hiring her in the future for our family photos.
