We first hired Alberta Water Pros Plumbing to repair two bath drains in our master bedroom in 2019…read more At the time I wrote a review highly recommending David for his timely and professional service, his great personality and very fair billings. We hired him again a couple of years later to repair a toilet and were once again very satisfied with his service. Well, nothing has changed. I still don't know plumbing and David is still my go-to guy. On day two of a three-day rainstorm our sump pump broke down at 4 am. The next morning, while the rain was still falling, we called David and he answered right away. He was on another job but within two hours arrived with a new sump pump and it was installed an hour later. I can't recommend David highly enough. I no longer phone different companies to compare prices. I know David is fair and I know he does a great job. Do yourself a favor. Next time you need a plumber call Alberta Water Pros. You won't be disappointed. Rick S

Called one outfit listed in phone book and online as 24 hr Emergency service. Left a call back with the answering service agent at 11 pm. No reply!! Sunday morning at 10:15 am called Todd Quartermain of Ace Sewer & Drain. Left callback on his voice mail. Todd called back within 10 minutes. He was at another job site. He showed up within an hour as he promised. Spent an hour and 30 minutes at my place and successfully unplugged my sewer line that was blocked about 70 feet out ( near the city main curb side hookup). Charge was $240 but Todd gave me a seniors discount for $220. Best part of Todd's visit was the down east yarns and jokes we exchanged while he worked. Very honest pleasant guy. Superstar company!…read more We moved outside of Sherwood Park last summer. Didn't know who we'd call for anything - the previous owners didn't leave a scrap of info on the house they spent 15 years looking after ‍ Thankfully, the folks at Country Star Water had put a sticker on the vent because... well, we were unaware that the previous owner had shut the low water alarm off before vacating. Awesome. We thought "... hey, it's been 6 weeks since we moved in, and we haven't heard the water alarm." Turn on said alarm... it's a-screaming! Called the number on the sticker-thank goodness it was answered and in business! (With the pandemic and shuttering of so many good companies... can't blame us for thinking it) They were out the next morning with water and it happened that one of the owners was the driver. Small company, long-term employees, super responsive & reasonable $. Alarm went off last month at 5AM. Sent an email asking for delivery anytime that week. We know the cistern alarm tells us it's still holding almost a week of water for us. We are never in a panic, but they were delivering by 11am. Can't beat that! They also have been around long enough who in the field of cisterns and septic are reputable if you need a recommendation. Not many gems like these folks.

The manufacturer's agent took care of the replacement parts side of things, but referred us to Nortec Plumbing & Heating to do the plumbing and installation side of things. It was a purely random referral, but one that was extremely fortuitous for us. Nortec Plumbing did a beautiful job on the installation of the replacement of the steam room equipment, so we decided to use their services again for other plumbing problems around the house, as we were looking for a new plumber anyway. Our kitchen drain and dishwasher connector got plugged shortly after, and Nortec Plumbing was quick and responsive to our emergency calls. Kelsey at their office made sure we were updated at all times when someone was on the way, and we have used this company for several minor and major jobs since, feeling completely satisfied with Nortec's professional business practices, their competent workmanship, and reasonable prices. It's hard to say any more than that... what more could a customer want?
