Considerably reduced of course. Perfect fit, too. Then on to the regular shoe store. Had resigned myself to purchasing two pairs of full priced Haflingers. (They are the only sturdy, comfortable shoes that fit at the moment due to a medical situation.) BUT -- two different kinds of Haflingers were also being phased out. Yes! Add those, too. Then found a pair of reduced, winter type (lined) clogs with a back strap. They were even Uggs! Ok! Also added four cans of suede / nubuck water protectant spray. (Cashier was so impressed with the final tally, they gave me two of the cans without charging. Well! Thank you.) As the cashier on the discount side said, she worked at the store and appreciated it so much because the store was "old-fashioned". I knew what she meant. And agreed. I drive to this store regularly from Rockford, IL. Can't remember when I last purchased shoes anywhere else. Can't be beat. One of a kind.

When I've stopped in it's always a madhouse - a lot of families outfitting their kids with new shoes for the school (I seem to end up here in summer more than any other time). Lines are long, sometimes snaking through the store. I'm not a huge shopper, so unless I'm getting a killer deal I don't find it worth the wait. There is a big variety, though - it reminds me a bit of DSW.

Out of the entire mall the Under Armour Factory House probably had the best 'deals' in the entire…read moremall. The prices were great and there were a ton of sales going on. We were greeted when we walked in and then left alone to browse. We tried on a couple of sweaters and leggings but ended up buying the sweater, a keychain and some underwear that was on sale. The selection was good for an outlet, there were a ton of great options and had I been in the mood to carry a bunch of bags around the mall I probably would've bought more. Check out was okay, took a little longer than normal due to the cash register timing out and having to move to another one- no biggy just a slight slow down. Employees were friendly and not pushy when it came to looking around, I would return.

We visited the Outlets at the Dells in January, so it was definitely brisk out. This is an outdoor…read moreoutlet mall, but they had an outdoor fire going, which helped warm things up and added a cozy touch. The outlets were also still decorated for Christmas, which made it feel festive and welcoming even after the holidays. There's a good mix and variety of stores, making it a fun place to browse. Some of my personal favorites here are Old Navy, Nike, Vera Bradley, and Columbia. Like any outlet, though, it's worth looking for the true deals -- just because it says "outlet" doesn't always mean everything is deeply discounted. Since it's outdoor, definitely dress for the weather if you're visiting in the winter months. There's no real food inside the mall, but that wasn't an issue with lots of dining options nearby. It's also right off I-90, with easy freeway access and parking, which makes it a convenient stop. Overall, a solid outlet experience with a nice atmosphere and good store variety -- just plan ahead and shop smart!

We arrived right at opening on a Saturday and was surprised how many people were there. The anchor stores seem to be pretty typical for an outlet mall, Columbia / Nike...I was surprised to see one of the anchors being a TJMax but I wasn't mad about it. We purchased items at UA, Eddie Bauer, and TJMax. I was surprised to seem some of the stores like Coach being as small as it was- normally the Coach outlet is huge, this was giving regular store vibes. Prices were okay, no amazing deals were found but it was a good way to spend an hour or two before we went to lunch.

This is more of a review of Marmot than of Fontana Sports. I bought my first Marmot down jacket…read morehere, and it lasted almost twenty years before the zipper broke. It kept me so warm and toasty in the brutal upper Midwest winters. I discovered the Marmot brand here in the 1990s. Back in the 1990s, Patagonia was not considered as "technical" and as bougie as Marmot and The North Face. Arcteryx either didn't exist or was an obscure brand almost thirty years ago. Now, Patagonia and Arcteryx are off-the-charts insanely priced. Marmot and The North Face are considered "value" brands. In any case, I still buy Marmot; it's better quality and far better value than Patagonia because: 1. Higher down fill power and 2. Higher down fill weight I recently bought a 700-fill down parka from Marmot with 220 grams of down for far less money than a 600-fill down parka with 150 grams of down from Patagonia. I was cold in the Patagonia parka, and it was horribly expensive. I had to return. I also bought coats from Eddie Bauer and from L.L. Bean. Nowhere nearly as warm as Marmot. The Marmot down parka that I recently bought is called the Montreaux Coat, and I've yet to find a warmer coat at such a great price point. It hits my knee, although it's supposed to hit my calf, so that's a bit misleading on their website. It's closer to parka length than coat length. I like that when the zipper broke after almost twenty years of owning my first Marmot down jacket, I called Marmot's Customer Service, they sent me a shipping label, and they said that they would gladly repair the zipper for me, for free. When they couldn't repair the zipper, they just sent me a new Marmot down jacket. So, I wore that complimentary replacement jacket for another ten years before finally buying the Montreaux coat this year almost thirty years after buying my first Marmot down jacket from Fontana Sports.

Friends that were born and raised in the Mauston area all told me you got to go to Rays Shoes. They are professionals Stop dealing with junk from Amazon. So I went to Rays I explained that my doctor said I need shoes with a wide toe box. The lady told me that wide toe box was just a selling thing that 2 E , 3 E and 4 E wide was pretty much the same thing. I tried several different pairs and settled on a pair that I thought was right. After a couple days I was getting blisters and returned. This time I talked with the owner. She said that the shoes I have are not wide toe box she possibly could help them if they were stretched but no returns. Stretching only slightly helped them I guess I'll have to save these for occasional wearing I can't afford to toss them with $140. Invested Back to Amazon searching for a better fit. At least Amazon allows returns

Not a bad place to hit up! There's a great selection of women's clothes, shoes, accessories and…read morebags, and a small but quality men's section. You can find an assortment of designer items for reasonable prices. You may find a few things you may as well get new but great finds for the most part! They keep the store very clean and the service is generally very friendly. There is one clerk who hasn't been in very good moods but you'll find that anywhere. The consignment aspect is a nice feature if you're interested. You can either cash out if your items are purchased or keep it as store creddonates. Will sort theough your items and take things that corespond with the current season. Note: they only keep your unsold items for so long and if you don't come to pick it up by the set date, it will get donated. There isn't a reminder that I know of so that's a downside. Overall, it's a great alternative to online places like Poshmark or Mercari to sell your items and shop for cute quality clothes, plus, it's great to stay local!
