The koi pond in the courtyard

This is a such a lovely and calm place to work. The building is large and laid out very well, giving each company/person their own space, but with many common areas that help you feel like you are part of a community. There is a kitchen/cafe with inside and outside seating, plus a catering company onsite that offers amazing (and healthy) choices for lunch at reasonable prices. But what I love the most is the courtyard with its koi pond and little waterfall. On nice days, they place bean bag chairs out there so you can relax under a tree. Another thing that really makes Hexa stand out for me is the gym! It's very well equipped and even includes a massage chair room. If you're looking for office space, whether you're a solo business person or a larger company, you really must check out Hexa.

The facility accommodates a variety of meetings, get togethers, and workspace needs. We set up tables and chairs in a U-shape, lowered the screen, projected a slide show, had a presentation and a network meeting. There was a separate kitchen area where people could get coffee or water. Someone brought bagels, but it looked like you could do more in the kitchen space should you want to. There were a variety of tables and chairs grouped together throughout the facility creating unique rooms such as a cafe, bar, lounge, and general workspace. If you needed an office or conference room, you could certainly hold it here. I have no idea what the price is for the space. It seems they are missing out on an opportunity to get this information to people visiting. It seems like they should have a large price board advertising this or at the very least require groups meeting here to mention this. In all fairness, they did have a reception area at the front that ai breezed past because it was so early. No one was staffing the area at 7am. This place had a very casual, playful, and informal feel to it. I could imagine renting it out for other group meetings and events. They seem to have all of the basics covered.

There are a lot of auxiliary seating areas too, so you can move around and set up wherever feels right. It didn't feel awkward at all--people bought a coffee and comfortably stayed for four or five hours without any pressure to leave. Everything felt smooth and natural. I had both a coffee and a matcha, and they were great. Overall, it's definitely a very good place to get work done. They have free, unlimited internet, lots of different spots to settle into, and parking was relatively easy. The chocolate croissant was good--slightly on the heavier side considering I planned to be sitting for a while--but still delicious. The crowd skewed younger, which was refreshing since so many places lately feel more heavily older-populated. All in all, great environment, great energy, and super conducive for getting things done.

We had no direct contact with employees. Venture X appears to be a shared work space for professionals. There were smaller private rooms setup for work as well as conference-room sized spaces with large glass walls. None of these were accessible for our gathering. The room was well suited for the party. As multi-purpose venues go, it's modern, clean, and versatile. Parking was easy enough in the retail spaces surrounding the storefront, which is shared with other businesses in a strip center adjoining a large apartment parking garage. Additional parking is available inside the garage as well. I can't speak to the workspace services offered, but we had a good experience on the venue side.

When the power went out, there were guests who were stuck in the elevator... For 90 minutes! The Dallas Fire Department had to come and extricate people from all 4 elevators. Some people were forced to climb up 7 flights of stairs to get to our floor. Other guests ended up leaving the wedding altogether because we just never knew WHEN the lights and power were going to come back on. There was no back up generator or power source that the building could draw from. We were not able to start the wedding reception until AFTER 10pm! There was a quinceañera on another floor, and a 70th birthday party being held on a different floor. Everyone had NO POWER! (To be fair, when my mother came to check out this venue the week before the wedding, she said she had to take the stairs down, b/c the power went out then too - in the middle of the day!!!!) So for over 1 hour, our vendors were not able to serve our 400 wedding guests! I lost an hour of service from every single vendor - which ended up totaling over $12,000 lost. When I contacted the owners of the venue, they refused to take any accountability, saying they were not at fault. They refused to refund us even a fraction of the amount that we were owed. They refused that they owed us anything at all! We spent months trying to work out an agreement / negotiate compensation with the owner, to no avail. Nothing. Not even a dime. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU CHOOSE ANY OTHER VENUE FOR YOUR EVENT! IT'S NOT WORTH WASTING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY... SPEND A LITTLE EXTRA AND BOOK YOURSELF A DECENT VENUE. I would give this place 0/5 stars if I could. I highly do NOT recommend.
