I am writing to formally express my frustration with the ongoing issues I have encountered since moving into this building. The lack of communication between staff, combined with unfulfilled promises, has made operating my business here exceedingly difficult. Despite multiple attempts to reach out for assistance, I have been met with indifference, and on several occasions, I've felt that my concerns were treated as a nuisance. It seems that the priority is staff enjoyment of their holidays, rather than addressing the critical issues affecting tenants like myself. This disregard for the needs of business owners is disheartening and jeopardizes my business's reputation. I have been in business for 14 years and maintain a 5-star rating. However, the ongoing problems with building access are putting that reputation at risk through no fault of my own. It is incredibly frustrating to feel that my concerns as a business owner are not being taken seriously. Before signing my lease, I made it clear that I work nights, weekends, and holidays. Despite this, when I arrived at the building on January 1, 2025, prepared to serve my clients, I found that my key card still does not grant me access to my suite. This issue has been ongoing for two weeks, and despite repeated attempts to resolve it, I still cannot access the building or serve my clients. What is particularly alarming is the complete lack of response from staff. I have reached out via text, email, and phone with no reply. I have not been provided with a clear after-hours procedure to address emergencies like this, leaving me with no recourse in urgent situations. The building's expansive app is also malfunctioning. I understand that the company is closed today, but someone should have been designated to be on-call for emergencies. If I am unable to service my clients today, they will not be able to work tomorrow due to the OSHA-compliant certifications I provide. OSHA standards do not allow them to work without these certifications. These certifications are critical for their careers, and failing to deliver them today could have serious consequences for their livelihoods. While I have received several apologies from staff, apologies alone are insufficient without tangible action. A sincere apology is only demonstrated through a swift resolution of the issue at hand. Until the problem is fixed, further apologies feel disingenuous and unhelpful. I have been patient, but my patience has now run out. Each time I receive assistance, it is because I have had to take time out of my busy day, with year-end deadlines, to contact Expansive. I do not understand what they expect me to do in this situation. If the door on this level is not functioning, simply unlocking it with a key would be a reasonable suggestion. Why is there a need to prop the door open with a chair? Unlocking it would allow tenants to access the building until the issue is resolved. I am sure some may be upset about my writing this review, but this is only because I have consistently asked for help without receiving adequate assistance. I typically handle such matters maturely and do not write reviews. I am requesting immediate action to resolve the issue with my key card. I would also appreciate direct contact from the owner of Expansive to address these concerns, as it seems no one else cares. Please be advised that I will update my Google review once this issue is resolved. Until then, I would advise potential tenants to reconsider renting from Expansive--especially those who require access to the building during non-traditional hours. I am not the only tenant experiencing this issue; another tenant I spoke with yesterday, who moved in just a week ago, is facing the same access problems. This issue is clearly systemic, and I believe it requires action from the third-party company responsible for maintaining the building's security system. Attached is a photo of the communication from Dec 31, 2024, showing staff was informed about the key card issue. Instead of addressing the problem, they left to enjoy their New Year's Eve holiday. I've been renting a 100 sq. ft. office space at Expansive in downtown Dallas for a little over a year now. It is exactly what I need as a small start-up business in financial services. When I was visiting several other companies in Dallas that offer office space, I decided to lease with Expansive because they have the best offering when it came to price, amenities, the customer service, and the community of existing tenants in the building. I like the historic feel of the building, and the investments they've made to the interior of the building is really impressive, especially at the price point that offices are available for rent. I attended the Brews, Bites and Businesses happy hour at the Level Office Dallas. I really liked the layout of the office. It's very chic and seems like a great environment to work in. It's centrally located in the city and close to a lot of other places for possibly networking with. The food and drinks that the office brought in were great as well. From what I've seen on the website the rent for getting office space here is a very reasonable investment to give your business the professionalism you're looking for. I could imagine this would also be a nice venue to host an event. read more

I've been at over a half a dozen spaces across Dallas and Houston, and Novel is the only one that has the ambiance, network availability (of people), and service that has allowed me to take my business to the next "level" . Props to the amazing community manager and center manager for bringing their A game every day no matter what. I work for Postmates, an on-demand delivery startup and have been office-ing out of Level for almost a year. I moved in right when they first started in Dallas (their official office is in Chicago, with several locations in the U.S.). Previously, I was was working out of a coworking space but as our business in Dallas continued to grow we needed a private office - Level is probably one of the most affordable office spaces/with amenities that you can find in Dallas. I had toured about 5 before deciding to office with Level. Some great pros: - Pricewise it's comparable/affordable to other offices in Downtown - Conveniently located to highways/freeways - There are some metered parking available around the building & tons of paid lots surround the building (free parking is hard to come by in Downtown Dallas, anyhow) - Beautifully decorated coworking area - Staff is very helpful, they've changed team members quite a bit while I've been at Level but most all of them have been lovely to work with. Especially, Maggie the receptionist makes my experience at Level so much better - I always have independent contracting drivers come by due to the nature of our business and she's always been super accommodating and kind to them & myself - They have a fancy schmancy cofffe maker and snacks for a few bucks if that's something that you're interested in - There's also a delicious restaurant right next door to Level (Latin Deli) which I've frequented - 24/7 access card - Fast internet Our business has grown a lot this past year which is why I'm moving out this month, but I highly recommend Level to anyone looking for a single or two person office in Downtown, they have a bunch of floor plans available. I think it's perfect for small businesses & it's quiet - which I kind of prefer to the craziness that are at some coworking spaces. read more

Wow, you all really need to check this place out. I have visited a couple of other collaborative work spaces in the DFW area but something about Level Office just inspires me with a creative atmosphere that makes me excited for the connections that will be made between the different small and local businesses trying to make it in a market as big as Dallas. The location is pretty unique too; if for some reason one were to hit a creative block sitting at the artistically, ergonomic desks, I could imagine how a quick walk around the block would be enough to get the excitement and possibilities flowing. read more

I'm a new customer to Level Office, and love it. I looked at quite a few other biz lease spaces in Dallas and was really dissatisfied with their service offerings. This whole building is owned by Level Office, and renovated - so all offices are new/clean. They offer WiFi and direct Ethernet connection. The rooms have great AC pumped in. Plus, good location downtown - 2 blocks from DART, 2-3 blocks from many different restaurants and West End. Check 'em out. Jeff read more
