We stopped here after we visited whiteface mountain. My parents and I really enjoyed it here. They have an easily accessible parking lot. We came on a Friday evening and they had a nice outdoor area with a fire and live music. Everyone was friendly and we were allowed to bring our dog. The food kitchen did close a little around ~6 I believe. We were able to order some beers and get some food luckily. The food was pretty good for a limited menu. We got grilled cheeses that were warm and cheesy. Overall, we had a lovely time here and would stop by again!

Hey hey Adventurers it's FriYay! I was really glad I got to try this place out because the beer selection looked really good. I tried a few different beers but settled on the CSP Mocha Stout which is my go to when I'm at breweries. I really enjoyed the taste of this, not hoppy at all (though don't quote me I'm not a beer connoisseur I just know what I like). It was smooth and the perfect balance of coffee and cholocatey. I did sample the Whole Hive Braggot but it was not at all my style of beer. I also tried the Wildcat cider, but hard pass for me, I think I've moved past my cider days. I tried the Grendel as well but I stuck with my favorite type---chocolate and coffee. McKayla was so awesome, she really explained the types and helped me try newer styles of beer. Absolutely wonderful at talking me into trying so much food too, LOL. While I was there I tried a variety of foods: tomato soup (tasty), pork taco (amazing), soft beer pretzels (so so good), and the piece de resistance was the grilled cheese with pesto. The pesto was optional but I'm telling you, just do it. This place is pretty big inside, really cute bathrooms (honey bee decor), and the tables are like a German Biergarten--picnic tables free grab for all. During the warmer months this place must be absolutely hopping. They're dog friendly but only for outside, which is great because I usually travel with my little Sully. Highly recommend taking the drive here if you're in the Paul Smith's area.

Stopped here after skiing. Small menu, but I had a delicious roasted red pepper and potato soup. Nice atmosphere. I did a flight of their beers and really enjoyed their sours.

Great little brewery that also makes really pizza. We found it by accident, and are glad that we did. Li e music, good food, great service, and really good beer in the Adirondacks! Need I say more?

Low key spot, with a good amount of tables outdoors. Bought two beers and sampled a third all were good. Our favorite was Bob Ross Pale Ale. Great name great beer. In a picturesque area and a nice drive if you are in the area.

First timer, this just became my go-to!! Highly recommend!!! The attention to every detail, selection for every taste, finely balanced brews, tasty food, friendly attentive staff, very clean & well organized location, minutes from all the hot spots of the Adirondacks. Very, very highly recommend! You're missing out if you don't stop here.

Been here I believe four times now. It's a hit every time!!…read more First time I went was on an invitation, as I wasn't expecting much from a brewery. I'm not too crazy about beer, and what I'd seen from the menu seemed like mostly burgers which I also find boring. Was very happy and surprised on my first visit to find they have creative and delicious cocktails, which are more up my alley when it comes to drinks. Also this first time, I got the truffle pizza, which was *phenomenal*!! Since then, have been back 3 more times, once for a drink and to try the cucumber salad, which also sounded incredible, to also compare to a similar one I make at home. Loved it!!! Then the next two times, went with my best friend. Both times he got a different burger, while I spent most of my split tab enjoying a couple drinks. When we're not trying to spend too much, this place has generous sides of fries which are also *incredible* and cheap, so you can fill up on those while enjoying the specialty drinks So I'd say it's really nice for all sorts of tastes, and has a budget friendly food workaround too if you're more there for drinks first, as I outlined above. Highly recommend, and can't wait to be back again soon!!!!

Their new location in North Hudson is huge and wonderful. Coincidentally, I just realized after reading my previous review that we were here this time on their twelfth anniversary, July 26th. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, PB! Being in Schroon Lake for a memorial visit, it seemed reasonable to travel another twelve miles north to pay PB a visit before returning home. Their parking lot was almost full at 7:30 on a Saturday night. It was amusing to notice the car license plates from so many different states (Canada is still understandingly boycotting the US). There being a 20 to 30 minute wait for a table, we managed to snag two unreserved stools at the bar. I chose to request a Paradox Helles (German style pale lager) while my wife went with a Ginger Hibiscus Cider. Both were excellent. While my wife munched on a House Made Pretzel, I thoroughly enjoyed a Pulled Pork sandwich with a side of spicy coleslaw and potato chips. I dumped the coleslaw (which I didn't find spicy at all) on top of the pulled pork and really enjoyed the combined flavors, textures, and tenderness of the pork on the toasted brioche roll. It was messy but delicious. Their pizzas looked good as I saw them pass by. Next visit may need to be on a weekday when they are less likely to be so busy. Service was excellent considering how busy they were.

Good news is the pizza and beer are still good!…read more The complimentary salsa was rancid, although the waiter replaced it kindly...but then you start questioning what the rest of the meal will be like... The large $14 salad was not as large as they used to, be and unimpressive - there weren't many options.. The menu had only Mexican options, (except pizza and one burger with salsa and chips side after we just had that as a free app for 10 minutes - no fries!). We love Mexican but this was pretty limited and a bit skimpy portion-wise...there was no guacamole appetizer, sides were often salsa and chips, no ground beef option, although there was steak, pork, or chicken). Limited vegetarian options, which is weird for Mexican. The manager stopped by and when we commented on our disappointment that there was no guacamole appetizer he offered a side option- and then charged us $3 for a tiny portion of very limey and over mashed guac. They do have a second floor dining area for large parties. English pub style. Food is relatively good. We are here 3 out of the 5 days we were in Lake Placid, mostly out of convenience. Service is okay, depending on who you get. They are super busy all the time and if your server isn't on point they will forget things. Their Ubu beer is the best beer there. The cranberry cider is pretty good as well. Shepards pie had very little meat/filling with a larger mashed potato ratio. Apple pie sounds great on paper but had little filling, leaving it super dry because it's baked as an individual personal pie. The whipped crème fraiche was delicious. Wings were nicely fried, crispy on outside and tender inside. Sourdough grilled cheese could've been better by using any other cheese besides Kraft singles. Clam chowder is superb. Beet salad was okay. Turkey burnt ends did not impress me and it's suppose to be their most popular dish. Chicken tenders were delicious. Fried fish was amazing! Huge piece of fish, served with tartar sauce and a side of incredible fries. Detroit style pizza is lackluster. The dough could've been cooked longer as it was underdone.

Drinks were messed up and orders had to be repeated about 3 separate times. The restaurant was not busy, so I'm unsure how this could've happened. Some of the food was good - those who got the french dip sandwiches enjoyed it, as well as the wings. However, the black bean burger and beef stroganoff were average. It didn't blow us out of the water. The stroganoff had good flavor but was sitting in a pool of oil so that put some people off. I am visiting town, but unfortunately I would not come again if I return to Lake Placid due to the disorganization, errors, long wait for food and lack of food quality to make up for the prior problems.

Compared to so many industrial style breweries this one stands out and caught our eye again. With more time this trip to New York to see family we made the trip back over to try their beers. When we arrived the owners were the only ones here. We checked over their beer list and I first tried their Raspberry Haze while my wife grabbed their Blueberry Cobbler. I thought both were great brews. We had a fantastic time talking about beer and loads of other topics with the owners. You could tell they have a passion for creating craft beer and running their small business brewery! Also despite being opened for 9 years the inside is so nice and clean you'd think it was a recently opened spot. Because we are far from home we needed to try a couple more beers so I got their Latitude 18 (tropical wheat ale) and my wife got the Sinful Snap (spiced amber ale) and these two were fantastic as well. This is a spot worth making a trip for, not just for the delicious beers but also to meet the owners. A brewery we will make a trip to when we are back up in this area for sure!
