We had steamed turbot, white and green asparagus, garlic crushed potatoes; and veal sweetbreads, hop sprouts, spinach and potato crisps. The cooking was regrettably rather pedestrian, with none of the wow factor that looked possible from the location and surroundings. Service was good. The bill? For the two of us, just a main & drinks, £60. Ok, but with a bit more expertise in the kitchen, this could be top class.
