Decent Mall, it's good to still have one in the East Bay!!…read more I usually get some good deals in JC Pennys, that might be the largest store in this mall along with Macys! There's a food court and movie theater downstairs. This mall isn't huge, decent sized to me. Sears used to be major in this mall, it even had auto center there. I remember getting tires put on there back in the day. Now it's gone, along with a lot of other stores. But there are still plenty of stores here, enough to keep this like a real Mall. And I always liked the location, right off of the 880 freeway in Hayward, very easy to get to!!!

Decent mall like the 2019 version of Newpark Mall. JCPenney and Macy's are still going strong…read moredespite most locations closed down across the bay and nationwide. I have nothing to buy here other than working out at Planet Fitness, watching a movie at Cinemark, and playing arcade games at Round 1. The food court looks dead downstairs. Not much to eat, so I have to walk outside the mall for nearby restaurants. Not sure why the Sears sign is still up when it went out of business over 7 years ago. The mall is mostly service based and conveniently located near the Southland Office Center where the Social Security Administration is. The clothing stores are mostly street wear to business casual. Pretty boring to walk around, yet convenient for Hayward and neighboring residents who don't want to drive to Valley Fair to shop.

Drivers heading eastbound who continue on Route 92 will pass by Jackson Square as Rt 92 becomes West Jackson Street in Hayward. I have worked in the Hayward area for over 25 years, and Jackson Square has a nice location. It's near the freeway ramps, it's down the street from the Courthouse and County Offices, It's near the DMV, and it's located near apartments and residential areas. I was just there yesterday, taking a break before getting on the San Mateo Bridge. West Jackson becomes Route 92, which takes you to the bridge. So lots of traffic passes by here. The anchor store is the Safeway, along with a CVS and 24-hour Fitness. Attention getting brands such as Starbucks, Taco Bell, Fire Wings, Round Table Pizza, Chase Bank, and a Baskin-Robbins are also tenants. Although Jackson Square is on Jackson Street, it's easier to enter and exit on Amador Street. Plenty of parking in off street lot. How could it be better? Maybe add a few more restaurants or cafes. I wish this place is open earlier. Weekends can be packed…read more Kinda hard to find parking. So I go on weekdays. It's pretty chill. I really just go to 3-4 stores there. And I like it because I don't have to do long walks from one store to another. It has 3 food places, which include Starbucks. It's a closer outlet and it's not crowded. My type of outlet.

I do not even like Starbucks here... And I used to frequent them often. I did find a few shirts I liked at Marshalls, but did not buy as I just have way too many. Discovered Tesla charging stations "hidden" in the rear of the center, see picture. I have to admit, when we did NOT know better approximately 20 years ago, we used to come here often. But the environment has changed, and not for the better. Way busier, more car break-ins, more poor drivers, etc. And really no brands that I personally shop. Plus, we now have the Livermore outlets! Which is still my favorite! Atmosphere - 23 businesses, see website. Crazy busy on weekends. Limited parking. Potential car break-ins; see parking lot signs. Public restrooms near Starbucks, good luck. You do not even have a rideshare drop off/pick up area. Open 7 days a week. Service - Depends on where you shop. Price - Outlet pricing. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1998, we have been customers since then.
