I could have added 100 more gorgeous photos than the many I already posted. The setting for the Ranch is very beautiful. You are surrounded by stunning National Forest. Trail rides take you to breath-taking views of vistas, mountains, through forests, flowering meadows, on and on. This is a great place to have a get-away alone because the staff actively socializes with the guests, everyone eats at group tables so you don't eat alone, you take trail rides, fishing trips, etc. with guides so you never feel lonely. If you want to be by yourself, you can take a walk or hike or hang out on your balcony. If you bring kids--they have "kid wranglers" who keep the little ones busy and supervised. Older kids can go on trail rides without you with watchful wranglers, there is even an overnight where younger kids have a "late over" up the mountain (then come back to their cabin to sleep), and teenagers have an overnight camping trip without parents. All meals are included, you only pay for alcohol. Trail rides are included. Many fishing trips can be arranged which are totally guided and all equipment is provided. I fly fished for my first time up a trail that was about a 30 minute drive and 45 minute hike up to a mountain lake where there was only one other person and it was stunning! Families and groups were there who go year after year. The staff is extremely warm and friendly. They work hard to make sure everyone has a good time and gets the vacation they want--be it family bonding, horseback riding, fishing, enjoying nature, etc. They had masseuses come in one day and I had a massage in the side room of the chapel. The chapel is so beautiful, this would be a mind-blowing wedding destination. I flew to a nearby airport and arranged to have the Ranch pick me up and drop me off, so I never needed a car. When we take the family, we will drive there and take a week to go through Yellowstone, etc. on the way home. Wyoming has a special place in my heart--and this trip helped cement it in there!

We weren't able to set up for the wedding until a few hours before and that was because they didn't have anything ready. We had to clean the place before setting up because nothing had been cleaned. They had my deposit for over four months and I paid the entire balance 30 days before the wedding and yet they still did NOT have the place ready even though I was assured it would be. Because we had to do all of the cleaning and then the setting up I missed out on being present while my daughter got ready. I didn't get to help her into her dress. I didn't get to make memories or take pictures. I was robbed out of many things that day. Also, family stayed on the property and paid full price despite dirty rooms that were t even ready to be checked into until late evening and no hot water the next day. The website promises available breakfast and yet there was no breakfast and the restaurant was closed. They were told it was seasonal; the website says NOTHING about being seasonal. For the first 3 months after booking the ranch for the wedding, I could NOT get anyone to communicate with me. Many emails went unanswered as well as voicemails. When the one and I guess only staff member did finally communicate with me it was to tell me that an entire crew was getting the event center ready. Well that turned out to be one of many lies to come!!!! Nothing was ever done to get the place ready until we did it ourselves, the day of the wedding!!!! Also, we booked the "event center " sight unseen and was promised pictures on many occasions. Never once got any pictures. Then when we finally get there and are taken to the "event center," it turns out to be a huge garage, with no heat or running water. The bathroom facilities were several yards away and if turns out they were dirty and didn't have any towels to wipe hands on. We were out and out lied to many times and I will NEVER recommend this place, at least not with the current staff!!!!!!!

I am extremely…read moreembarrassed and disgusted at how the personel treat people and the wildlife in the surrounding area. Recently, we planned an evening of dining and stayed the night. The woman who I believe was the manager perhaps of the restaurant was extremely rude towards my husband and I. Raising her voice about mask wearing and insisting when/where we wear our mask, not once asking or discussing in a polite manner. We had no idea the mask requirements of the establishment and were attacked. I have also been in the area each Fall, conveniently during hunting season. This year I watched multiple times, the staff of The Red Reflet Ranch chase a large herd of elk throughout their fields and then out. During this illegal harrassment of the elk herd I personally witnessed an elk calf break a leg from the trample. The staff then left the calf, I went by 3 days later and it was still left in the field unattended. During the illegall herding, a buck muledeer as well attempted to jump one of their high fences and too broke his leg. The Red Reflet Ranch illegally harrass wildlife, shoots guns out their vehicle to chase the animals off and charges an exorbatant amount to high paying clients to hunt. PETA should be called on this ranch, they go against everything in wildlife management and are an embarrassment to the state of Wyoming. I will NEVER support a ranch with such rude, unkind and mean people.

Our recent stay at Red Reflet in Ten Sleep, Wyoming, rates volumes over so many of the other properties. The Owners took the time to personalize our ranch experience and cater to our every need. They were kind, engaging, caring and personable. I can't imagine another property could surpass their exceptional service. While this working cattle ranch is located within 27,000 acres in the Big Horn Mountains, the feel at Red Reflet was quite intimate. They only offer four private chalets (each magnificent in their own right) and limit the number of visitors, which allows for even more personalized service by their outstanding staff, crew, management, and ranchers. The activities are endless and the scenery is, in a word, divine. We whole heartedly recommend Red Reflet to anyone looking for a unique, outdoor, luxury, ranching experience. We will carry the memories for years to come. We look forward to returning to the ranch in the not too distant future for 'another' once in a lifetime experience.
