Instead, he offered a deal to persuade me into signing the agreement: if I agreed to give my inheritance to my ex, he would represent me in a partition to divide undisclosed assets case next. I asked who covers when he's gone. Answer: no one. So the only person in the entire firm who can help me is unavailable, and I'm left without care. He sent me to Accident and Injury in Pleasant Grove. Classic mill. I'd already had X-rays 5 days earlier and brought the films. They still wanted to retake them. I refused. Their prices were shocking -- over $18,000 for 3 MRIs. Brandon said "that's not what would actually be paid." So what? Posting those prices is still outrageous. I asked for somewhere closer to home. He kept insisting he'd already sent the referral. I kept telling him it hadn't arrived. Instead of just resending it, he argued with me for two days. I couldn't get treated until they had it. Aug 19: Finally saw the new doctor. They said I needed X-rays, MRIs, and 3 braces -- but couldn't order or provide any of it without the lawyer's approval. It is now Aug 27.
