I would give this location no stars period.
So far, I've had two of the worst customer service experiences with Hertz at the CBX location. First incident was when I picked up the car. The young lady named Marianna charged me an additional $30 dollar fee because I was one hour early. Normally, you notify the customer first if an additional charge will be made NOT after. When I was signing, I asked what the additional $30 was for. Marianna said, "because you picked up the car at 2pm not at 3pm" (my reservation time). So then I told her, "I can wait till 3pm. I got a ride here, that's why I'm early". She then said, "I already charged it's too late". The customer in front of me was complaining of her attitude, but I didn't think much of it until it was my turn. Second experience, Margarita Diaz, I told her, " I have 2 concerns, who can I speak to? she then said, "you are calling the reservation line I can't help you with concerns". So then I said, "ok, who can help me them"? Once again, she said, "ma'am I don't know your concerns, so I can help you". So then I told her, "but you didn't ask me what my concern was, you just said I'm calling the reservation line". Then I said, "that's the problem, both of you don't bother to ask or communicate with your customers!. I told Margarita Diaz, "If you took the time to listen to your customer for one minute, the whole process would be so easy". So then Margarita said, "ok, then what is your concern?" I told her 1 of my concerns and she said, "I'll send you and email where you can submit your concerns". Now was that so hard to do from the beginning?? Listen to the customers concern/s and send them the information??. I am disappointed with Hertz because I've rented cars in the past and I had never experienced this type of service. I don't know if it's the location or what, but someone really needs to talk to these employees. I work for a well known hospital in San Diego and I know this type of customer service would immediately be dealt with. I will NOT come to this location again, nor will I recommend it to no one. This experience definitely deserves a Yelp! Hopefully someone has the curtesy to at least call and acknowledge the issue. - Now from reading the other review, I'll have to worry about my deposit too!!!!??? Lol oh god. read more
