We rented a skid steer for an over the weekend rental. It was $938.84 for Friday after 4 and to be…read morereturned first thing Monday morning. We used it about 3-4 hours Friday and a hydraulic line busted. They came to pick it up Saturday and said they couldn't fix it until Monday and they would give us a call then. They called Monday and said it was our fault it busted and refused to bring another rental or refund our money. After an all day back and forth of calling, they said they would return our money except for the $200 deposit. On Thursday, they only returned $637.36. They kept $301.48 instead of the $200 they said they would. They are not honorable and need to maintain their equipment better.

The person stated they could get it pretty quick since is was just a basic service, especially the mower was brand new this past July. 4/02/26: Brought the Toro around 2pm for the service. Asked again about the length of repair and again, it was shared that it should be a few days for the basic (oil, gas, sharpen blades, etc) service. Agreed that it should be completed by mid next week. 4/09/26. Called and talked with someone on their counter and they said they didn't see it ready, but would check on it and let me know asap. 4/11/26: after not reaching anyone about my mower, I drove to their business and was actually trying to find my mower. A person (this was who told me later that he was the General Manager) looked for it, couldn't find it and decided to check the system. He said my mower was dropped off on 4/9 - just two days ago - and it will take anywhere from 10-14 days to repair it. I stated it was dropped off on 4/2, not 4/9..which the GM argued with me on the facts. Given that, decided to just take my mower elsewhere. after the GM helped me load the mower in my truck, it was then the GM told me that he was upset with me calling him a liar. Would NEVER say that and call me done with this company...forever.

Three experiences... 1) Asked about buying a "half scoop" of mulch because I have a small truck, and that fills it. Noticed I was rung up for 1.6 cu yd (without warning) and was told it's because they "cannot measure exactly". So, apparently they're sure they always go a little over, I guess. Eventually, I decided they can charge what they like, and the 20-something just wasn't courteous enough to explain in advance, or in a better way. Shoot, they can charge $1 for a scoop and $0.99 for a half if they like, right? 2) Was quoted $35 for 4 hrs with a tiller (I think. it was a tiller), and when I returned, I was charged $75. I pointed at the 20-something who had given me the quote and explained that she had quoted $35. The new 20-something, basically said, "well, she was wrong. Too bad." 3) Today, asked for a 1/2 scoop of compost (quoted $65/scoop). Charged $48, without explanation. I declined because apparently the policy is to charge 7/10 of a scoop for 1/2 scoop. So, the issue in #1 above has worsened. They used to charge 1.6 for 1.5 cu yd. Now they charge 2.1 for 1.5 cu yd. I usually root loudly for local businesses, but this one seems to consider it a privilege for you to shop there.
