My experience started out with very friendly service. My appointment was for 10:30, I arrived at…read more10:35. But then told they would need to take the car to get an oil change, about 15 min. I agreed to wait. About 11:20 the car still not back but it was next in line! They offered me a smaller car as I was to have an SUV. I decided to just go ahead and take the smaller car. So paid my deposit signed the papers went out to the car. Wow, there was water marks on it like it had been sprayed the windows front and back were completely filthy. I couldn't even see out the back window. And overall the car was dirty mostly outside but some inside I took pictures. I took a rag and wiped it off myself, and then decided to go in and tell them. What I was told was they don't detail the car they just spray it off! Really! And not one person apologized for my wait! This is the only rental service in town. No one has a choice! I guess that's the customer service that you get.

I am currently recovering from surgery (invasive spinal fusion) I had performed in Michigan. We reserved a rental car to take me back to Michigan for the post-op appointment from this location, far in advance. The morning we go to pick it up, there are NO VEHICLES at all. The lady running the store said "We're getting some in this afternoon, I'll call you." Did we get a call? NO Did she shut the phones off during business hours? YES My sister and I both tried to get through for 2 hours, and the phones were shut off (like an office would for lunch break). TWO hours of hearing "Your call cannot be handled at this time. Please try later." Mind you, this scenario had already happened twice prior to us with this location. It's a small town though, and it's the only car rental service around. So, I decided to call customer service corporate. I spoke to Becca, who seemed to be very concerned with all the times we'd been inconvenienced. She typed copious notes of all the experiences, said she escalated to management, and said a manager would call in 1-3 hours or sooner. (Never received a call). She also revised the reservation to pick up a vehicle at an alternative location- the airport in Champaign. I told her we had tried this before, and they wouldn't rent to us because we weren't using the airport in Savoy. She explained as long as we paid the $300 additional deposit for using a debit card, they HAVE to rent to us. So we went ahead with this option, received a confirmation to pick up that evening. Becca took our email address to send the confirmation, and gave us the confirmation number over the phone as well. We never received the email, so I called customer service back and spoke with Stephanie, who again, confirmed we were good to go get a vehicle at the Airport. She sent the e-mail, AND then transferred me to Sandra, who ALSO confirmed our reservation to pick up the vehicle at the Airport, and she showed me where to find Enterprises policy about the $300 additional deposit for using a debit card, so if we had any pushback at the Airport like last time, we could show them the policy. Everything seemed to be rectified. We spent over $70 getting a ride to the airport (Lyft) only to find THEY ALSO HAD NO VEHICLES!!! AND told us that none of the car rental services at the airport would accept a debit card at all, as their card readers wouldn't read them. (In 2026?!?!) What good is a confirmation number if they are not confirming there are available cars??? What is even the point of having one if they don't have any vehicles available? And how does a car rental service just have NO cars, especially when they know they have confirmed reservations? How do you confirm having a product without having said product?? We still have not received a call from management. No apologies, no "how can we make your experience better", No one checking to even see if vehicles are available- which makes NO COMMON SENSE AT ALL. No effs given by this ENTIRE company. They do NOT treat their clients with any mere, decent civility, as you can see not just from my review, but other reviews as well. Closing up the store early and still getting a full paycheck? Shutting the phones off so clients cannot call? Blatantly lying to clients? I've never seen or experienced a worse business than how Enterprise runs theirs. AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU CAN!!!

We feel fooled by budget car rental. Ok, we did sign the contract so we made a big mistake just…read morelistening to what they said instead of reading carefully. But when asking if there is any other fees we need to know about and we get a no, we trusted that. Then asking about if we need to fill up the tank before returning the car we get the answer "it doesn't matter. If you don't fill it up it'll be like 10 bucks or whatever". Yes, ten bucks PER GALLON!!! Ridiculous. It costed us $30 to fill it earlier. We had run late due to traffic (didn't expect a color run to close every street in Nashville) so we didn't have time to get gas in order to drop off the car on time. So what happens. WE ARE CHARGED $115 FOR NOT BRINGING BACK A FULL TANK. Also they were not friendly there at all. One lady was friendly but she was the one who totally fooled us when saying it's not a big thing returning the car not filled up. The other two people we talked to were very rude.

I booked a rental on Priceline after booking my flight and making my connection to Charlotte NC. I arrived and my phone says 9pm (if your familiar with the airport it's one escalator ride to the rental car terminal) . There was no one at the car counter, but a Dr Pepper on the counter. The security guard told me it was 9:02 , my husband went outside to the cars and the front of the airport thinking someone might be cleaning cars or on break. By 9:10 we asked baggage handlers if they had seen the Avis rental person because budget counter had a sign to go to Avis. When I called customer service they told me to get an uber that the person working had clocked out early after first telling me I was late. He told me to uber back tomorrow and that if I wanted to complain he could put me through to customer service which promptly hung up because they were closed on Saturday evening.

Diepholz had the one I wanted after searching, literally within a 250 miles radius. I decided to make a the call to inquire. The woman that answered the phone was OUTSTANDING. Professional, courteous and generally convinced me that THIS was the right place to buy my car. I'd never driven this type of vehicle, however, I had a sedan of the same maker. I live 2.5 hours away, so I made arrangements to go up and take a test drive. The General Manager assisted me initially, via email, then I worked with the Salesman, Kelly. They both greeted me upon arrival and I met the voice of the dealership as well. Lovely people. I drove it a few miles away. Parked and checked all of the bells and whistles. Fell in love immediately. Needless to say. Take the drive. This dealership is truly exceptional. All of the team members, from the receptionist, salesman, GM and financial officer.
