The salad was very good, the salmon was nicely prepared, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. We liked the Greek flavors so much that we bought a container of their Greek seasoning mix to take home. Dining out can be challenging for us because I have Alpha Gal syndrome and a tree nut allergy, while my wife has a gluten allergy and is sensitive to dairy. Starfire made things considerably easier by clearly identifying gluten free items on the menu, and our waitress was helpful in working through our dietary restrictions. We were both able to find meals that worked for us without sacrificing the quality of the food. The atmosphere is comfortable and pleasant, although the dining room is showing some age. It has the slightly worn feel of a long established local restaurant, but nothing that detracted from our meal. Good for families, casual dates, and casual business meals. The dining room probably isn't the setting for an important business dinner or special occasion, but for a relaxed meal with genuinely good food, it works very well. We would absolutely return. The fact that we left with a container of their Greek seasoning probably says enough about how much we enjoyed the food.

I came in twice one morning and while the place was bustling, the owner was incredibly welcoming while chatting with me and the espresso drinks and baked goods such as the peach scone were all outstanding. I wish had a coffee shop this good closer to home in the Mid-Atlantic region hundreds of miles up I-95. The staff was all super sweet and I look forward to visiting again sometime soon.

I also had a shot of espresso that arrived in a very nice presentation on a wooden board, paired with a side of sparkling water, which was a thoughtful touch and made the experience feel a bit special. On their recommendation I tried the honey lavender latte made with local spicy honey; it was unique, flavorful, and not something you see everywhere.
