I am an alumni at Saint Leo University and I will say so much has changed for the better. It's good…read moreto see a university that truly appreciate and invest in their students education. One of the reasons I love going to Leo was because it felt like a family atmosphere and there was always so much to do. The campus is beautiful and continuing to grow. The campus is taken care of upkeep is very well the ground screwed as a great job of making sure pride is taken. The buildings are very clean. There's so many options for food and an amazing and new pool. You're looking for a school right outside of the Tampa Bay area that stands true on its values this is where you want to be.

Once I showed up to my 8:30 am class for my professor to play a YouTube video of another professor teaching the subject. The dining hall food was often bland, overcooked or undercooked and gave us food poisoning on more than one occasion. Something I find unacceptable for how expensive the meal plans are. The dorms smelled damp and often had issues with mold. My first week of school I got a respiratory infection from being in the dorm. We also had issues with the heating turning on the n the winter time and despite maintenance telling us it was fixed it wasn't. I did however like the events that went on. Our spring and fall festivals were nice. Getting to go to Universal studios for $20 was the highlight of my year. We could watch movies on the lawn, get airbrushed shirts, have food trucks visit and more. It was also a pretty famous to look at. But it doesn't make up for the other stuff. I wish I had gone to a more cost effective school. I started before COVID and in recent years the school has gotten itself into financial hardships. We even had a change of Deans because of egregious spending. The tuition hikes haven't made campus life any better it just hurts my pockets.
