They looked earnest & engrossed in their duties. Friday, 5/2/22, I visited this library for a one hour lesson in writing a "love letter will." It was interesting and I learned a few things. It was also a pitch for estate planning and wills, but I'm happy with our attorney and our will. I took the useful brochure with me. Afterwards, I wandered down the wide hallway to the double glass doors to peruse the books for sale in the front of the library. Prices were reasonable. I also looked around at the plethora of books and other materials that patrons could check out. But I had to call this visit short. I had to hurry to Palm Harbor to lead a class (Tai Chi for Balance). I hope to return for a more in depth look at what this majestic library offers.

It's 100% volunteer, so make sure you call ahead or head there early, just in case they're not fully staffed. The deals are worth it, though, and the money goes right into the library system, so it all stays local. You never know what you'll find, and its well organized, clean, and tidy. The storytime was so-so, but you can't complain since it was FREE and the kids seemed to enjoy it. The library looks brand new with several meeting rooms and a tall ceiling with lots of glass windows to let in plenty of natural light. They have a large collection of books and a dedicated children's area with books easily accessible in bins, blocks, table activities and board games.

I didn't have time to assess all the new amenities but from what I see, I'm liking the upgrades. There is a dedicated room from children with computers and a few toys. The main area was rearranged and there are also other study rooms to utilize. There is a garden outside as well as an indoor hydroponic garden. One of the reasons I love going to Leo was because it felt like a family atmosphere and there was always so much to do. The campus is beautiful and continuing to grow. The campus is taken care of upkeep is very well the ground screwed as a great job of making sure pride is taken. The buildings are very clean. There's so many options for food and an amazing and new pool. You're looking for a school right outside of the Tampa Bay area that stands true on its values this is where you want to be.

Once I showed up to my 8:30 am class for my professor to play a YouTube video of another professor teaching the subject. The dining hall food was often bland, overcooked or undercooked and gave us food poisoning on more than one occasion. Something I find unacceptable for how expensive the meal plans are. The dorms smelled damp and often had issues with mold. My first week of school I got a respiratory infection from being in the dorm. We also had issues with the heating turning on the n the winter time and despite maintenance telling us it was fixed it wasn't. I did however like the events that went on. Our spring and fall festivals were nice. Getting to go to Universal studios for $20 was the highlight of my year. We could watch movies on the lawn, get airbrushed shirts, have food trucks visit and more. It was also a pretty famous to look at. But it doesn't make up for the other stuff. I wish I had gone to a more cost effective school. I started before COVID and in recent years the school has gotten itself into financial hardships. We even had a change of Deans because of egregious spending. The tuition hikes haven't made campus life any better it just hurts my pockets.
