    my happy foot:)

i've never left a review for a doctor before but this was exceptional. i was refereed to another doctor before him, dr. Anderson located in DTLA, it was an absolutely horrible experience, from the wait (2 + hours) to staff disrespect and disregard towards all the patients in the room. and i didn't even get to see the doctor. everyone in the room was extremely frustrated. oh, and parking was like $11. thank god, my pcp found dr. Ayvazian. the wait was great, quite quick. the front office ladies were on point with their work, not wasting time and getting things going. the doctor came into the room right away, was super communicative, clear, and efficient. fixed what the emergency doctor did and did not do, prescribed the right stuff and explained everything. i came back two weeks later, dr. Ayvazian did ultrasound on the spot. quickly moved me to the procedure room and took out the giant splinter sitting in my foot that other not one but two doctors failed to do. so smooth and so quick. everything was clean and every person and my nurse were very helpful. for the first time in the united states of america i was truly impressed and satisfied with my doctor's visit. for the first time it felt like the doctor actually cared, and not there to keep draining my pockets. plus, free street parking, just check the signs for street cleaning:) thank you so much dr. Ayvazian! wishing you good health to keep the good work and continue being a real example of a doctor who took the hippocratic oath!

Amazing doctor. New exactly what he was talking about and really helped me. My situation was a bit different because i am a Brazilian soccer player and i need my foot for my work, and have been to other doctors that didn't really help at all, but doctor Hermoz was on point in everything that he did. I strongly recommend him.

My busted Achilles tendon four and a half months after surgery.

Dr. Ayvazian is a great doctor!!! He doesn't talk much but he is quite multi lingual - speaks in Armenian, English, and Spanish, that I know of, and might know more languages. And his work is PHENOMENAL! I had a busted Achilles tendon, but my previous doctor, a horrific doctor, told me I didn't need surgery and it would heal by itself, though my tendon was so busted, there was a huge hole/depression in my leg where the tendon used to be. There was no way it was going to heal itself. But I trusted him and hobbled around for three months hoping it would get better. I got an MRI again and found the hole was still as big three months later. And I still couldn't stand on it; my leg would give way like jelly. And that doctor, a Dr. Wong, had even told me I didn't have to come again (!!!) But thank God for Dr. Ayvazian! I met a lady who told me about Dr. Ayvazian, who said he would tell me the truth and do what was needed. Also he takes all kinds of insurance, even low income insurance. I went and have been so thankful. He couldn't believe anyone would tell me I didn't need surgery. So surgery was scheduled and it went great. His work is precise and amazing. The surgery was done so well, the scar has almost disappeared and my foot has regained most of its mobility after several months. Even though I was told my ankle would never be as flexible again. I have every confidence now that I will be back to normal and as flexible as before and be doing all my sports I used to do. And I have Dr. Ayvazian to thank for it. (I am also getting physical therapy elsewhere to help it along). I just wish I would have found him sooner, so that my rehab would have taken 3 or 4 months instead of the 7-8 months it's taken because of the initial doctor's advice which delayed my surgery by several months. Very glad for Dr. Ayvazian's work. He has saved my tendon and my sports ability. Best podiatrist and podiatry surgeon ever. He also gave me some kind of stem cell implant that really helped it heal.

Told the receptionist that I had an infected ingrown toenail and she quickly understood my pain and told me to be there by 3pm. Was quickly brought in and Dr. Nubar Ornekian, DPM immediately knew what to do for my specific and very severe case. He cut one-third of the affected toenail, excised the granular tissue, and debrided the wound. 10 minutes for a local anesthetic, 10 min for the procedure, 10 min to coagulate and bandage. Post-op instructions were easy enough, received a prescription for a round of antibiotics, and told to manage pain with NSAIDS. His bedside manner is great and very much has a wealth of expertise in his +30 years in the specialty. I would not hesitate to refer him to anybody else if you're lucky to snag an appointment. For context, I had been calling around for 1 hour and was lucky to have found him. When I called Urgent Care they said they do not have a specialist who would be able to help me in my situation, especially since I had already started antibiotics. When I called Huntington Hospital they said depending on the assessment of my toe I might be referred out for a outpatient surgery with a podiatrist. So happy to have found this clinic on Google Maps as most Pasadena clinics were booked out for at least 6 weeks, out on maternity/ paternity leave, etc. He is speedy, efficient, genuine, sincere, competent, and left me feeling confident in my post-op recovery. Very thankful for him and the pain relief he has provided me.

He listens to you and tries his best to provide you with as much assistance as you need. I addressed my issues and he is thorough with any pain or discomfort you may have. He will refer you to the people, place, or treatment that you are in need of. The technicians are all sweet and polite, always with a smile. As I was waiting to be seen by the doctor, water was brought to me because they offered and I accepted. I love coming here. I always feel welcomed.

I came across Dr. Mark Trezia here on YELP and could not have found a better Dr.. He was easy to talk with, he let me explain what had happened, radiates good energy and made me feel comfortable and listened to. He is not one to just suggest surgery without trying other solutions first. I truly appreciated his advice and highly recommend him for anyone needing a foot/ ankle specialist. Parking can be difficult as there is no street parking, but a structure that is shared with other medical facilities. It's busy and not easy to find parking. Arrive early! The office will validate for a few dollars, otherwise it's 8.00. The office was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Hopefully not, but should I ever need to return, I will without any hesitation. Thank you, Dr. Trezia!

The story's moral is to be vigilant, check your toes regularly, and pay attention to where you get your pedicures done.
