She knew my friend and I were riding the Katy Trail and arriving late, and still made sure we had food waiting for us after a long, soggy day of riding. Your establishment catered perfectly to our individual needs--from biking massages and secure bike storage to spot-on dinner suggestions and delicious evening treats. EXCELLENT, FANTASTIC, TOP TIER Wedding Venue and Staff! Coordinators Becki and Donna ensured our daughter's wedding was perfect! Becki worked with us for months asking the right questions, accomodating vendors, answering endless emails and texts from us, running zoom and in person meetings with us and with our vendors, so much more. On Wedding Day, Becki was everywhere, handling everything, for everyone, with the support of the staff, including bartenders Shelly and Tiffany, and servers and dishwashers Alivia, Breanna, Samantha, Iteara, and Shelby, and providing unsurpassed, speedy service and still sweetly keeping us all on our precise timeline. WOW! Particularly of note, our coordinator smoothed the way for all of our vendors, and put out fires behind the scenes all along the way, during the wedding, and quite literally during the reception, when one candle flipped and caught a table afire! Chef Craig Nunnally wowed us all year long during planning and wedding trial visits, and then impressed us even further at our reception, plating special meals for guests with food allergies or mobility issues- so delicious and so much food! He and his staff provided lunch and mimosas in the bridal suite and grooms' party rooms, and later treats like lobster rangoons, brisket... mashed potatoes from heaven, YUM! Attended a wedding here over the weekend- it was fabuuuuulous! Totally recommend Hermann Hill for weddings. What a gorgeous venue. Food was yum, drinks (though weak of course) were plentiful, staffing was very friendly, bathrooms were clean, reception room and chapel were both beautiful. read more

My Wife and I are taking a trip to South Dakota and decided to make a stop in Hermann (our first visit). I looked at all the accommodations for an overnight stay and settled on Hermann Hill. I was blown away by all the amenities they offered and the view of the Missouri River from the deck. Upon arrival we went to the main house on Wein street to check in (probably my fault)! We had to drive back across town to actually get to our cottage, which was cottage #401. Upon arrival to our cottage I was very impressed with the landscaping of the Inn, which was really nice. I felt our cottage was very well appointed nice large flat screen TV's in both the living room and bedroom. They had left a welcome sign at the door acknowledging our 35th wedding anniversary, which I thought was nice. The fridge had some welcome snacks in it like cheese, bread and fruit. They had placed a dog bed, blanket and water bowl on the floor for our traveling companion Jack (Miniature Australian Shepard) her is truly like are child now! I was so excited to see the cottage and all it had to offer but greatly disappointed to later find out much didn't work. Three amenities that I was looking forward to using was the fireplaces and the hot tub on the deck overlooking the river. The jets did not work on the hot tub after several attempts to try and figure it out. I found a note on the wall that the fireplaces had been turned off in July due to excessive heat even the aromatherapy fireplace! This is September and the night we stayed was very much cool enough for a fire! I just feel if you are going to list these as amenities to a room or cottage then they should be available for use, if it is too hot I won't turn on the fireplace! It was, it was I felt too late to call someone regarding the hot tub, but I sure hope they can get that taken care of for the next guest. Based on the price we paid for this room, I must tell you I was quite disappointed! Breakfast just arrived and it is small, but the taste was ok. I would have to give quite a bit of thought before staying here again. It is quite pricey and based on my first experience I would have to shop the area for possibly other accommodations before making that decision. I truly wanted this to be a blown away experience for my Wife and I, truly sad to say it was not! read more
