Kay and her husband are working to bring back this beautiful home, so there is a little construction the outside, but it does not impact the comfort or level of service you will receive. You will love it here. Call for best availability. There are 3 individual rooms with baths and a suite that has two rooms sharing a Jack and Jill bathroom. One of the rooms is ADA accessible.

They only have 2 rooms with a shared bathroom, but the pricing is incredible. My parent's place was $75 (before taxes) per night along with a free breakfast. This place is relatively easy to find and a quick walk from downtown. My parents really enjoyed their stay. They found the bed extremely comfortable and noted that the staff were very attentive. My mother even got her first massage here and couldn't say enough great things about it. The massage was reasonably priced and the woman who provided the massage didn't let my mom leave until she was completely taken care of. The only reason my parents said that they would not give this place 5 stars is that the breakfast was not good. They were given a gift certificate to Lyndee's and they noted that the food didn't sit well with their stomachs and wasn't very tasty. Other than that, they raved about this B&B. I even plan to check this BNB out the next time I'm in town.

She sent pics and tailored the menu to pretty much exactly what I wanted. Our menu consisted of Pesto Cheese Chicken Breast, Dijon Salmon (which they cut under a heat lamp on a wooden cutting board, gorgeous!), Mandarin Orange Field Green Salad, Red Roasted Potatoes, and Zucchini Wrapper Asparagus Spears. Everything was tender, moist, and super tasty! Our guests could not say enough about it! We were allowed to keep all of the leftovers. We had forgotten plates and flatware for the cake, our venue owner chased down the catering van, and Donna graciously gave us plates and flatware from her stock. We would recommend splendid to anyone having an event in Warrenton or surrounding area, fabulous job, beautiful set-up, and wonder food!

The pictures on their website and on Trip Advisor were great and we could tell that we were going to be staying at a really cool place. Boy were we surprised upon arrival. The pictures do not do this place justice as the property is stunning and the house is spectacular. We stayed in the Patio Suite, but upon arrival, we were greeted by Gary, one of the owners, and he offered to show us the main level that has three full bedrooms and bathrooms, living room, gourmet kitchen, dining room and a full deck that has an amazing view of the Missouri River and farmland below as the house sits atop one of the highest points on 4th street. One of the bedroom suites even has a wheelchair accessible bathroom. Marsha and Gary have done such an amazing job decorating the house. The Patio Suite was like having a full size apartment to ourselves. When you enter, the bathroom is straight ahead. It offers a walk in shower and has a hot tub sized jacuzzi tub. This was such a nice feature to have at the end of the day after having a relaxing and fun day visiting the local wineries. To your left, there was a full living area with a couch, two chairs and an electric fire place. There was also a desk area as well. Off of that, was the bedroom area that had curtains you could pull for added privacy, in case you were sharing the suite for your stay. There was a kitchen area that had beautiful cabinets, a sink, mini fridge, microwave, toaster oven and many other conveniences. Marsha and Gary have beautifully decorated this suite with what appears to be items they have collected from their travels over the years. There is also a bookcase with many wonderful books and they also have a Bose CD player and many CDs to listen to while relaxing. As the name mentions, you have a covered patio off your suite with a beautiful view of the river and a grill as well. While there you are welcome to explore their gardens and also enjoy the fire pit that is located at the edge of the property overlooking the river. We will stay at Spirit Hill every time that we come back to Hermann as this was a fantastic place to stay and it is owned by fantastic people. We will recommend this to any friends or family making a trip to Hermann.

The house is beautiful and sits in the country on the southern tip of Hermann. It is only opened on the weekends and the owners are very personable and gracious. Two positives you don't see anymore. The breakfast was incredible. Ham, bacon, cinnamon rolls the size of a human face, fruit, cheesy potatoes, and cheesy asparagus. All delicious. The house broke ground in 2007. They are making additions as an ongoing process. It is beautiful now, when it is done it will be perfect. We went in to look at a honeymoon suite last night that was in progress. Next time around, we would like to book that one. The meats for breakfast were sourced from Swiss meats which is down the street from the house. Highly, highly recommended.

Same shower, right nozzle didn't work and the left had to be fixed by my husband to stay up. The brochure showcases this shower Pool requires a steep metal stair case to get to the pool only to find the pool jets don't work, pool cleaner was already in the pool cleaning it, so we removed and swam. Breakfast was sausage patties, plain scrambled eggs and raisin toast and a yogurt with fruit. Ever tasted the eggs from a hospital, you get my drift. We cleaned the pool the following day after a bad storm so we could swim. Needed paper products for the room and got no response from the gal who checked us in. We absconded from a common area bathroom. Breakfast the next morning was not any better than the previous. Would we stay again, probably not, the only amenity this place had that we enjoyed was the pool. We were looking for the whole package.

Everything was clean, landscaping was amazing, and everything seemed kept up well. The reception hall seemed versatile and the grounds can be used in may different ways. Lots of natural beauty but also has room to individualize everything. The Lodge was comfortable and had lots of cool features. The owners were so friendly and welcoming. They were always around checking in, helping in whatever way they could. The 3 cats on the property were bit hits with our group too.
