He knew how to compose shots and make them look great. But most important, the pictures came out wonderful! Paul was professional, dressed professionally, had a second-shooter to make sure all the basis were covered. I was also impressed that his website doesn't focus on contacting him nor does it provide a long diatribe about how great the photographer considers himself; he puts his work out there across several mediums and allows you to judge for yourself. Most of his business appears to be captured through word of mouth but he's in heavy demand and getting on his schedule can be tough, so if you're interested in this guy, booking him sooner is better.

I called Paul, and he told me he could fit me in the next day at 5:30/6PM. Unfortunately, when the time of the appointment came, all contact was lost with him. I tried calling, texting, e-mail, he simply would not reply to any of them. Then, I went to his studio in Wilmington, and there was nobody there. It wouldn't be until two days later, only after I tracked down his personal Facebook and messaged him there, that I managed to get in contact with him. His reply was a simple, "I am having family issues, please find someone else." And that was it. Family issue or no, it was highly unprofessional of him to not give me the courtesy of at least letting me know that he would be unavailable so that I could find another headshot photographer in time. My only option became to submit a homemade headshot, which will most likely significantly decrease my chances of getting noticed by the casting directors. And the worst part is that he didn't even apologize. He might as well have said "f*** off." This man is unreliable, untrustworthy, inconsiderate, and clearly does not care about his customers. He had the audacity to set an appointment and completely shrug me off until it was too late. I can't even tell if his "family issues" story is real, as his Facebook wall suggested he was happily watching the Super Bowl while I was desperately trying to contact him. Regardless, the simple fact of the matter is that I relied on him, and he screwed me over. My audition might as well be ruined. This is simply not good business practice. If you want a trustworthy photographer who cares about his customers and who will keep his appointments, I highly recommend you find someone else.

From the moment we entered the studio with our newborn teeny tiny twins, Jamie and her assistant made us feel completely comfortable and we knew our babies were in amazing hands with them. I am from the West Chester area and shopped around, but I wanted to find a "vibe" with someone that I trusted to take beautiful photographs of my family. When I met Bev in her home studio, surrounded by the photographs of other families, I felt that her style of photography captured exactly what I was looking for, and after talking to her I was sure that she was the one to do the job. Now, I have a large framed family photograph over my fireplace, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. It took some coordinating (make sure you ask her for advice of what clothes/colors to wear), and we went through a lot of poses (as many as my kids would stand). We decided it was time to have pictures taken to celebrate our anniversary and create new memories. I was nervous about calling a photographer and explaining my wanting to take "wedding pictures" for us minus the wedding. Setting up the appointment was easy and Jessica was great to work with. When we met with Bev she immediately made me feel at ease, she was familiar with our requested location and showed us the best places to take pictures. She even timed the appointment for between 4 & 6 PM to get the perfect lighting. It was a truly magical day. Jessica reached out to let us know the pictures had been posted for us to view on-line and that we could come to their studio to take a closer look. Which we did, three times! I am very picky and there just were so many beautiful pictures that it was really hard narrowing it down. The memory book Bev created is my favorite thing we did by far.
