I didn't wish to go with a national (800) type service and something get lost in the paper trail, but rather work directly with a local floral arranger in the town of Lincoln, NE; for I was calling in from the west coast. I used their services once before about 5 years ago, before "Burton & Tyrrell's Florists" merged with "Oak Creek Plants & Flowers". So, now I can say I used their VERY professional services TWICE and all turned out to be TWICE as sweet! Margaret forwarded these 2 photos to me and SHE couldn't have been more pleased with the arrangement. (...as was I!) Ya know Mother's Day, is just a few months away! My wife used them to send me birthday flowers at work. She looked online for fun, colorful,…read morefestive flowers to make my birthday bright and happy, because it's a "milestone" birthday for me. These were suppose to go with her bright, happy, colorful theme that she and my kids were doing for my birthday. The flowers were delivered late at 3:45pm, just before I left work... My workplace isn't that far from their shop, so getting it to me before the end of the day wouldn't have been difficult. When I got them I called her and said thanks, but I asked why they were all white. She said that she picked out the birthday order online and it should have looked like a bright "birthday cake." Instead, it looked like a boring, white wedding cake... She contacted Abloom and they told her since they saw the order was for a man, they changed the colors and arrangement... based on my gender, as if I wouldn't like bright, colorful, happy flowers. So, that judgement call, I got something stripped down and sad, which you can see in the pictures. They said she can have a discount on the next order, but really, do they think we're going to use them again?

I am not from California; I don't know how that got on there! TWO HOURS after the service, during the reception, my husband went looking for our plant because we did not see it on the alter. My husband called back and canceled. I will not go there again.
