Doing business with them was a breeze from our phone call to get a quote all the way through closing. They have someone in the office 24hours to attend to your questions and needs. They ask the right questions to help you and walk you through what you need or what may need in case you forgot to ask anything. They have a variety of chapels available for what you may need. Some are a little outdated and need some TLC but they are all clean & presentable (at least the ones we have seen). Staff are quick to respond when you have a request for service. For a fee, a priest can also be requested if you are unable to find one. Be ready to pay in cash for a request to extend past the 5 days on your contract. Overall, we had a great experience with them. And would recommend them to anyone.

During lunch after doing a tour on the Ton Le Sap Lake, my cousin's boyfriend starts breaking down. He had just read a text on his cellphone and I knew immediately what had happened. HIs mom had been ill and he had been hesitant about going on the trip. Now she was gone. When we flew home the next day, we parted in the morning and I met him here that evening for his mom's wake. I had never been here previously so I didn't know what to expect. It turned out to be a decent funeral home. It was clean, there was an elevator, and everything seemed to be organized.

REVIEW #7000 Our…read moreonly regret during our recent visit here was that the tour we were on didn't allow enough time to explore and reflect. The museum in the visitor's center is worth at least an hour, and then there's the walls of names, the fields of the fallen, a little prayer at the chapel, and exploring individual monuments (some with a QR code for more info). It was a very peaceful, humbling, emotional, and timeless experience. A couple on our tour was the first in the family to visit a grave, of which Memorial Staff has a special process to commemorate the identification. Admission is free and let's hope the US Government doesn't ever do anything stupid regarding the budget to maintain these sacred grounds.

There are no words to describe the experience of being here. So this review is superfluous…read more... I do highly recommend you visit this hallowed memorial constructed to pay proper honor to those American and Filipino combatants who gave their lives to preserve and restore freedom to the Philippine Islands and other nearby places in the Western Pacific theater of Operations during World War II. Many of which, I might add, especially the Philippine Scouts, are not given any official acknowledgment (it's been over 80 years) of their bravery and sacrifice that they so merit and deserve. One day perhaps.... .... One of my family members is here.... but ... not really. His name is here, that's all....inscribed in capital letters on a high marble wall along with many thousands of others who fought in WWII and whose bodies could not be recovered. I'm grateful, thankful, and overwhelmed by the extraordinary kindness, compassion and courtesy that the cemetery staff showed to me and my family. They assigned us a personal escort and guide who stayed with us for 2 hours. This wonderful young man who toured us around is a great testament to his country and proof positive that patriotism is not dead nor is it something to be mocked as popular corrupted culture seems to reinforce. The time spent here went a long way to effecting closure. As a final act of kindness, our guide arranged for a rubbing to be made of our deceased relative's name that I provided to our surviving family members. Thanks especially to all the staff at this cemetery for all they did to enhance our visit. Remember that freedom is never free. If you ever get to the point that you start to think that it is, then it's time for you to re-read history and to come here.

The area has an ecclesiastical museum with beautiful artwork of St. Therese. The shrine also has its own Adoration Chapel and a flower shop. Mass there is something to see. The entire area is softly lighted and you can hear mass no matter where you are sitting. It is very close to the Marriott, and I understand it is used a lot for weddings with the reception at the Marriott. We simply went to mass and looked at the lovely art work. It was wonderful.

The shrine is among the most popular wedding venues in the southern areas of Metro Manila. Apart from the bright altar that makes use of natural light (making it perfect for post-wedding photo ops), the church has tastefully designed interior. Plus, it's near Manila Marriott Hotel - itself a favorite reception venue with its huge ball and function rooms. In short, if you get wed at St. Therese, you won't need a bridal car if your reception is held at Marriott Hotel. The minimum fee for a wedding at the shrine is PHP 40,000.00 and that gives you one and a half hours of air-conditioned use of the church, a basic flower package, a soloist and pianist, a royal blue carpet for the aisle, and a priest. Weddings can be pencil-booked for three days, after which an official reservation must be made with 50% downpayment. Another attraction of the shrine is the columbarium. It houses 38,000 vaults or niches which can each fit four urns. The area also has an Ecclesiastical Museum displaying artwork about the life of St. Therese. The shrine also has its own Adoration Chapel and a flower shop.

We have always opted to use Hall A, which is the largest chapel that they had. Hall A is part of the new building and it features high ceilings and large glass windows that let in a lot of natural light. White canvas blinds and adequate air conditioning gave the space a very open and comfortable feel. Hall A also comes with an en suite toilet and shower plus a pantry with a fridge, a microwave, a wet sink, and an LCD TV. Hall A is actually detached from the rest of the chapels, which gives you some privacy. The other chapels in the old building, frankly, feel a bit claustrophobic. Arlington has its own crematorium and for families who choose this option, the staff thoughtfully orchestrates a farewell ceremony where loved ones will strew flowers and write messages to the person they have lost. Other conveniences include in-house coordination for the publication of obituaries in major newspapers and accredited caterers. The only constructive criticism that I could offer is that they do need to repair their chipped sidetables and fraying upholstery. They might also consider upgrading the plastic Orocan pail that they use as makeshift rubbish bins in public areas.
