Hole in the wall filled with toilet paper

I wasn't going to leave a review because my whole stay was refunded, but 4 days after, they charged the whole stay again. Stayed here 2 nights. Do not book here. First off, the location is right off the highway and full of questionable people. The room was absolutely disgusting and didn't seem to be cleaned at all. The sink and shower were filthy, and the bathroom had mold growing up the walls. My room had a hole in the wall that was filled with toilet paper. The shower head was so low my boyfriend had to bend over to get under it. My second night I was woken up to a knock on the door at 2AM, and I was terrified. Opened the door the next morning to find several beer bottles sitting in front of my door. There was what looked to be blood stains on the bed. Felt unsettled the entire stay.

Going to a big birthday party in Hayward wanted to play it safe So I rented a room here.the pool is nasty and close the room reeks of cigarettes.the bathroom needs to be redone the TV is old in the room the reception is blurry. the celling above the fan is dirty.after I get dress and go out I'm not coming back.this is a shame it's close by 880 freeway you would think this place up to code.

This was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I was disappointed in the room and the place as a whole. This place needs an entire overhaul starting with tearing it down and rebuilding it. I got to my room and the light switch didn't work, the lamp didn't work, the refrigerator froze everything I put in it. The toilet ran off and on every 2 minutes! Housekeeping only made up the bed amess changed my towels. They didn't change the sheets, only made the bed. I know it was the same sheets because I made a small mark on them. The pool area had 2 old mattresses next to the pool but by the time I left, there was only 1. I'll never stay there again!

I did not plan on being in this room for more than just sleep and that was good in this case. While the staff was pleasant they make you sign a few photocopied papers on the typical emergency info and rental car used but the oddest form that allowed the hotel staff to enter your room whenever they wanted. The furniture was stained and the lampshades were ripped but the room overall was clean. It was fully stocked of towels and shampoo. The pillows were too soft and not supportive. I was very pleasantly surprised to find a mini fridge and microwave in the room which is very convenient for a traveler such as myself. Having working cable television is nice to have. Every morning I was awaken to the ruckus of my fellow guest and their stereos but that is not the hotel's fault. I guess I was staying there at the same time as a wedding party from Texas. It was nice to have the hotel in a location very close to the freeway and there are many services nearby like a Vietnamese restaurant and liquor store near within walking distance. Now would I walk in the neighborhood where the hotel was located? Not if I did not have to. It is a not as well lit as one would like and the constant hum of sirens did not make the few moments I was in the room that comforting. Oh by the way they did use that right of entry at any time even though I clearly placed a do not disturb sign on my door. I found that disheartening. I say this a lot but you do get what you pay for as long as there is value in it then it is okay. The Heritage was good for its purpose in a very bare bones way.

Would give 0 if I could. The bed was filled with someone else's hair. And smelled like cigarettes, otherwise fine.

Booking the place was pretty easy, just called them up and they were able to get us a reservation for a table of 6 on a Sunday evening. Upon arrival,I was kinda blown away by the decor, holiday themed with a gentleman playing the piano and a lively crowd sitting at the bar-I for sure felt like I picked the right place for my mothers special birthday celebration. We started out our meal with complimentary bread service, which was delicious and 2 starters, the meatballs($17.95) and the potato wedges($15.95)-they had fancy names but basically that's what they were. The meatballs were so great,I really enjoyed their texture and flavor. The wedges were very solid but what made them standout was this truffle aioli sauce they were served with-outstanding-I need this recipe somehow. We went with a few main dishes-Penne alla Vodka($31.50) which was very good, featuring Salmon and vodka sauce-the Salmon was so tasty it melted like butter on every bite.We also went with the Tortellini($29.25) dish which featured pork filled pasta in carbonara sauce with prosciutto-It was pretty good, especially when u got the bite just right with the tortellini and the tasty pieces of prosciutto-very yumz for sure!...In my opinion, the star of the night was my dish-I ordered Lasagne di Manzo($28.95)-which was a lasagna featuring ground beef and lots of cheese covered in Napolitana sauce-man oh man it was delicious, every bite was super tasty and not sure if it was the sauce that made the difference but the sauce gave the entree a very light feel, after eating that dish I felt light still,a feeling I only have ever gotten when eating pasta when I was in Rome-so it was a great dining experience without a doubt. In closing I would definitely recommend this restaurant if your looking for a place to share a slightly upscale dining experience where time is not a concern,a place that took me back to the casual nights I spent in Rome enjoying 2 hour+ dinner experiences filled with conversation and great company eating flawless foods-I will for sure come back to this amazing hidden gem of a spot! PS....Almost forgot-the crème brulee($12) and cappuccino($6) we had after dinner were exquisite-gave me all the pep I needed for the long drive home to Sacramento after this meal.....Be Kind out there.

The server was super nice and everything came out pretty quickly, which I appreciated. I ordered the cioppino, and my family went with lasagna, linguine, and pescatore. We also shared some calamari to start. Overall? Really good in my book. Flavors were on point and everyone enjoyed their dishes. It is a bit on the pricier side, but honestly no complaints still a great experience all around.

Our server was doing her best on her own for the entire establishment and we respected her situation. The Gabby's Jolt was merely strong and seemed to be missing ingredients listed on the menu. We had ordered the stuffed mushrooms appetizer which was tasty, the filet mignon entree and halibut entree ( of which we told the server we'd like to have a glass of white wine to accompany it but had to wait until the entree was nearly cold to receive it). We ate two servings of bread an do bitter while we waited for the entrees. The filet was tender and seasoned well in addition to being cooked a bit over medium, had a large portion of spinach and mashed potatoes, and came with the same red wine reduction sauce as the mushrooms which we found a bit odd. The minutely seasoned halibut has to have been the tiniest piece of fish we've ever seen served and only had six small potato quarters and like 6-7 stalks of asparagus with it. Overall, we ate everything because of the small halibut entree, but will most likely not return. I suggest the owners have more than one server on a Friday night, For everyone's sake.

They also do ghost tours around this area too. But one of my friends really likes this place to get a drink. Nice and cozy, we planned on getting a drink then just decided to grab dinner here on a Saturday evening. We started with some cocktails, I just got a tequila soda and my friends got a mojito and jazzy cosmo. They also give you some bread and butter. I asked what the most popular salad is and they said it's the pear salad, so I got that with chicken and devoured it. My friends got the chicken Marsala which also sounded popular and the penne pasta.
