He was told that Bee Immuni Honey was good for having a good immune system. We have also tried other of their products, such as honey lollipops, which were great for my sore throat. Super cute local honey shop! During the summer, they have a hive in the viewing window, but they let the bees live in the regular hives during the winter. The owner was friendly and told us about the business. They have free samples of the whipped honey and regular honey- all of which taste rad! There was ample street parking, and it's located just a bit off the downtown strip. read more

Tried their sage honey, and their creamy cinnamon, this honey is way better quality than any other honey I have tried, way better than whole foods organic honey. Nifty shop with all sorts of versions of honey, candies, olive oils and gifts. I adored this little shop...I suffer from allergies and consuming local honey is one way for me to help ease them. The shop girl was knowledgeable and friendly. Prices are decent too. Incredible- cinnamon honey! I've never tasted honey like theirs! Nor have I have never had such natural tasting cinnamon honey! My only complaint is my own bad luck- I don't live close so I have them ship me my order a couple times a year. They are REALKY hard to get on the phone and a few times I did place a telephone order and after a week called to iinquire and they misplaced my number so couldn't call to tell me an item I ordered was out. So they didn't ship my order and they were gifts I needed. I'd ordered many times at that point so I was shocked. They are mom and pop so have patience. It's worth it! read more

This place is awesome! Happened across it on an errand yesterday. Great variety of local honeys that are bottled on the premises (you can watch the process through a big glass window!). They also carry lots of other honey/beeswax products and treats. Backyard beekeeping kits are also on the horizon, which is really exciting, especially because they'll be sold by people who can give sound advice when you're starting out or having trouble with your hives. Wendi and Susie are very kind, very knowledgeable, and clearly very passionate about the work they're doing. Clean, organized store; helpful people; DELICIOUS local, raw honey. Go visit them! I absolutely love this cute little shop! I've been getting my honey from here for years. While I lived in Ventura I adamantly took a teaspoon a day and I swear it helped with my allergies and immune system! Since I moved to Santa Barbara it's been harder to get in there, perhaps that's why my allergies are bad?! Haha. ! I usually grab the wildflower, sage, and avocado honey! I recommend going in, tasting all the varieties, buy a few, as well as other goodies they have in store!! (They have so much and it's all amazing quality!) If you already know what you like you can also order online-and with gas these days that makes for a great substitute for "out of towners". They're super affordable, actually less than what you'd pay in store and you're helping a small business so win win! Was pleasantly surprised when I went into this little gem of a shop. Not only do they have an assortment of honeys to try, they have wonderful gift items as well! This is across from the awesome thrift shop on Thompson. We were walking around the 'hood, and decided to check it out. So glad we did. Got a lot of good information from the guy working there - so sorry I didn't get his name. But there is a lot of tasting of different types of honey - AVOCADO! WILDFLOWER! more varieties than you can shake a stick at. They also sell a lot of non-local gifts and books, etc. I hope you will check this place out, because it seems to be off the beaten path, it's not on Main St., and this is just the kind of place you hope that they make it. I was cruising around the web looking for something LOCAL & wonderful to send as a thank you to 2 different hostesses from my recent travels to Mississippi & Tennessee. What a darling shop and the gal working there was friendly, efficient and helpful. I fell in love with their products, especially the avocado honey...you can use it as a face mask! Yes! Such a wonderful shop! My favorite is the lemon honey, both the raw in the jar and the prepacked sticks, which I like to take to work with me. A friend of mine found it and we visited on Sunday ... we were not disappointed! They have a honey tasting area where you can sample different varieties before you buy, and they even have bee keeping supplies and honey recipe books for the enthusiast! I'll definitely be a regualr customer! It's much closer to me and easy to drop by before I have to be at work. I use honey not just in tea and on English muffins, but I also use it as a moisturizer in facial and hair recipes, so I'm always running out. What a wonderful little place!
