The neighborhood had significant issues, including a major drug problem. Police frequently came to the building to bust dealers, and packages were constantly stolen due to the lack of a secure delivery system. Management's only solution was to put up flyers of the culprits caught on camera, which did nothing to prevent further thefts. The building claimed to have a strict "no pets" policy, but nearly everyone had cats or dogs. This rule seemed to depend on whether you had a lenient landlord. However, if you tried to keep smaller pets like rabbits, hamsters, or ferrets, you would be charged extra or fined daily until you got rid of them. The hallways always smelled like weed, and there was an ongoing bedbug problem that simply moved from one unit to another. When our neighbors moved out, the bedbugs spread into our apartment. Even though our unit was treated, the landlord did not compensate us for the hotel stay we needed or the brand-new couch that was destroyed during the treatment process. Nothing was done for the building as a whole because each unit was individually owned, and all owners would need to agree to a building-wide treatment plan. This meant the infestation continued to spread. While the building offered on-site laundry as a supposed perk, the reality was less appealing. The washers and dryers were small, and each load cost $2 to wash and $2 to dry, making it inconvenient and overpriced. Our landlord, in particular, was a nightmare to deal with. She frequently threatened to put the unit on the market to pressure us into buying it and avoided addressing issues by claiming she was giving us a "great deal" and that she always left us in peace. After talking to other tenants, we discovered she was definitely overcharging us by $300 to $400 per month. She also refused to cover basic maintenance expenses, like replacing expensive built-in lightbulbs, and ignored requests to fix or replace the microwave. Sure, she wasn't technically obligated to replace it since it wasn't built-in, but after six years of paying her inflated rent and receiving zero attention, you would think she might have the decency to do something so small. She frequently invaded our privacy, often barging in with little or no notice under the guise of "inspections." When we gave her over the required 30 days' notice to move (we gave 60), she guilt-tripped us into letting her into the unit early because she had holiday plans. My significant other had to step in to fix things around the apartment, like floorboards and other wear-and-tear issues, just to ensure we'd get our deposit back. She constantly whined about money, and we were so fearful of losing our deposit that we went above and beyond what was required of us. We were only responsible for patching a holes from hanging pictures, but we ended up replacing floorboards and doing repairs she should have handled. She even had the audacity to try and get us to fix her leaking tub, that was destroying the below units, and her fix was unsightly plumbers putty. Overall, it was a horrible and traumatic experience. Educate yourself on the area, search sex offenders in the area as one is VERY close by..... and vet your landlords. Some were nicer than others. Ours was a nightmare. The only positive thing about living here was the view.

I would not recommend Brady Sullivan or The Edge under any circumstances…read more Cleanliness: The property is consistently dirty -trash and dog waste left in common areas. Residents don't use the compactor but management does nothing to address it. The dog spa is always clogged and filthy. Leasing Office: You have to constantly follow up just to get basic responsibilities handled. Their infamous phrase to any complaint is "do you have a picture" because they are too lazy to do their own jobs and look at cameras that are sufficiently posted all over the building. Staff seem unfamiliar with their own lease and often refuse to enforce it. The office closes without notice, ignores emails, and takes months to address issues--if anything is done at all. The property manager, Mallory, is rude, and there's little accountability or follow-through. Noise: We've had constant noise from upstairs neighbors since move-in--barking dogs, stomping, and loud activity from early morning through the day. Despite repeated complaints and providing logs, emails, and video evidence, management refuses to act and dismisses it as "normal apartment living." Parking: Deplorable. The snow policy essentially asks residents to sit by their windows and watch the plows, ready to move their cars at any time. There is also not enough parking for residents. When we moved in, we were told one vehicle per bedroom for our 3-bedroom apartment -- that was a lie. When we confronted the office, they said we didn't have to move in. Customer Service & Communication: Horrible. Responses are clearly AI-generated and defensive, showing no real concern for residents. Any response to a review will also be very defensive and AI-generated. It will probably call me rude or disrespectful, but I have been nothing but respectful and professional while seeking a resolution to not getting a full night's sleep due to upstairs neighbors' noise. Want to speak to upper management? Good luck. No one will provide an email, and if you call the corporate number, no one answers. When we first moved in, we were given the regional manager's card - that person has since left. Now the office claims it is against policy to provide the regional manager's contact -- despite having given us the last RM's number and email. This place is a nightmare. I am a current resident and I would not wish living here on anyone. I cannot get out of our lease soon enough. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere. UPDATE APRIL 2026: Still unable to get any respect at this place, the noise complaints are a waste of time- management will do nothing but lie to you. The poop is absolutely disgusting, management said they would pick it up but there is poop everywhere. People leave dirty clothing in the lobby and shoes in the hallways, the tile floors are caked with dirt and grime. Major sanitary concern in both your apartment and common areas. I found black mold on my windows when the building is less than a year old. I told the leasing office but also took care of it- they insisted coming in, opened the window sprayed glass cleaner and left. Again - Good luck with the management of this building and Brady Sullivan as a whole. Place lies to you, lies to each other, and no one cares to get anything done. We have been dealing with noisy neighbors since the day we moved in, all management does is keep moving the expectations and saying rest assured we take this matter seriously. Not to mention if we followed their instruction they then tell us to cease behavior immediately- as if it's our fault but the leasing office told us to do so because the won't deal with it themselves. They do not know their own lease and certainly don't follow it. Took me months to get an email of the new regional manger, evan, and he is unwilling to do his job. He told us to move when we aren't the problem. Absolute joke of a place do not listen to the positive reviews, you will regret living here unless you like to live in filth, hear your neighbors, and are a slob, and want poor management that refuses to do their jobs.

They care about unnecessary paint jobs for the front office and fake greenery for the walls while the actual buildings have bursting pipes in the main hall above the front door and faulty appliances, (due to the drying fans) fire alarms that went off everyday, multiple times per day for weeks afterwards, poor ventilation in bathrooms causing mold and mildew. The water restoration fans in our unit had to be on 24/7 for two weeks, and the office refused to compensate for the costs of the electric burden or even reply to multiple inquiries after we sent the documentation they asked for. When the seal was literally falling off of our refrigerator, it took them weeks (with our food spoiling) to replace the old one with a dented and scratched "new" one, when a plastic knob to operate our AC unit broke, we were told to just use pliers to turn it on. Our dishwasher stopped working about 10 days ago and they are claiming next week to repair/replace. The maintenance guys are good guys but are not paid enough, so they are chronically shortstaffed and too busy to make repairs. Maybe if they paid decently they could attract more people, but they don't care about the residents, just their appearance. We have been here 7 years and never once were even late on rent and this is how this company rewards good paying tenants. We will be moving out at the end of March and we will be speaking to local news and the BBB about these issues as they want an additional $4000.00 ON TOP OF March's rent when we move out. This company is a slum lord, albeit with a fancy front office, but a slum lord nonetheless. Rent elsewhere. You'll thank me.
