Cotta Fencing removed our old fence and installed a new fence with a gate a couple of years ago…read more The fence did everything it was supposed to. It was a good fence. Yesterday, a huge wind/sandstorm blew through Hanford, and it toppled my 40-foot cottonwood tree. The tree fell directly onto my fence. I thought for sure the fence would be destroyed, but no. It wasn't. That fence is built like a freaking rock. Only very minor damage to the top of the fence. The gate still works, and it's not even wobbly. I have to say, if you want a fence built to last, choose this company!

They deserve 0 stars. Terrible experience with this company and Milgard Windows. We remodeled our…read moreentire house, which consisted of all windows being replaced. They never came and measured the actual windows, instead relying strictly on a set of plans provided by the contractor. This resulted in several windows not fitting after they were made. Visalia Window also installed several of them incorrectly, so they would not open and close properly, and they have still never fixed those issues after 4 years of trying. A sliding glass door was installed improperly and they ignored our requests to address the issues until after stucco work was completed and it had to be completely ripped out and replaced. Then they damaged the replacement during installation and refused to provide any additional assistance. Another sliding glass door has a screen that won't roll properly and always comes off, so we can't even use it. They were paid $55,000 and swore they would do everything to fix all of the issues because they had a reputation to uphold, but they do not care about the customer after they take your money. They do not return phone calls or do anything for you once they are paid. Milgard Window Company is just as bad and do not honor warranties or provide any follow up assistance with poor quality installation of their inferior products. Be warned and go with another company.
