We had a large cashiers check drawn on the BofA and they refused to honor it and/or let us open the account. I have a BofA credit card, that I just canceled online. I won't give BofA a single second of my business again. Banks used to make you feel welcome like they wanted you as a customer. This bank makes you feel like you're getting in their way of cigarette breaks and coffee. I have been a happy member of this credit union for years now and I have gotten personal help with…read moreprivacy and respect for my disabilities by the individual staff and I genuinely appreciate it. I'm not able to leave my house or bed much anymore and I depend on the online banking and phone service offered to help me with my very fixed minimal income that I depend on being available for me to pay for my basic needs that keep me alive. Over the last few days this bank I have counted on has decided to update, blackout, close beaches, and not take calls for a few days as they go through this change. As a critically ill disabled grandma I have been unable to get any assistance from this bank to help me and my rent is now late, my auto pay bills need to be set back up and I will have penalties I can't afford. I can't even get my medication or food and it has been 3 days of calling with no one answering, I had to ask my caregiver to go to the ATM and check my balance and I am in overdraft when I have a block for that, I know to the penny how much money I had in my account and I should be able to see and access my SS direct deposit at any time, I can't overdraft if my auto pay bills are not getting paid and I can't even use my own account. I have had help from my care team and nothing from my bank. Today is day 4 for this critically ill disabled grandma to go without necessary medicine, food, basic needs, bills paid without fees, and I have never once complained about my bank until now. I'm going to need immediate response and resolution to be handled with respect because I am not a happy grandma by this point. This stress alone is causing me physical pain, high blood pressure, anxiety, hunger, fear, and I need my meds. I also suggest you remove the little taunting texts prompts that appear as I write this. I'm not being rude or swearing but I can and I will become I have had lots of time to practice. Get a human being with respect and possibly some common sense and humanity that has the ability to resolve this situation immediately for me before I need to call you out with the state and federal laws that are here to protect people like me from the greed, thoughtless, stupidity of what this bank is doing right now.
