We love going to the Heritage Antique Mall. On a Day when you have time to stroll around . There is always a good find waiting.check it out.

For my birthday this year my husband and I decided to go antique shopping outside of our area. We live in the Tampa area and Crystal River seemed the best place to go. We found Heritage Antiques on yelp and thought it looked like a cool place so we made our way there. Upon entering there was a woman behind the counter on the phone and she said a quick hello and I began my treasure hunt. In my haste to get to seeking out my treasures I did not hear her comments to the person on the phone HOWEVER my husband did. Once my husband heard her comments he then said to me to hurry up with my looking and make this a quick trip. We walked around and I'm looking but now I'm annoyed as I can't believe he is rushing me. There wasn't much in the back rooms and quite frankly they looked as if they were going out of business. So I hurriedly looked and we made our way to the door to leave. Upon exiting I say to my husband why did you rush me. Although I would've left quickly anyway and he then shared WHAT the lady said upon my entering that made him want to leave immediately. So upon our entering my husband and I are a interracial couple. The cashier decided to blurt out when I walked in oh my GOD a black person just walked in. Although it wasn't racism per se it was ignorance. Would you have said that if I was obese, or blind, or even missing a limb? NO. So although you thought I was the 1st black person to walk in I truly hope I am now the last due to your ignorance and lack of customer service. read more

Very nice Antique Store filled with a great selection of things from the past. The owner was very pleasant and was available to discuss the items on display but doesn't follow you around allowing you to enjoy the interesting pieces. I definitely looked at a few pieces but the pricing was substantially more than I was will to pay so I didn't pursue them, my evaluation of the value may have been insulting. The shop is very clean and organized with the prices clearly stated on each piece I would definitely stop in again it was well worth the visit. read more

Well organized with a lot (and I mean a lot) to look at. There are old coke bottles, lots of dishware, some jewelry, tons of little nick nacks, some toys and even a neat little set of opera glasses from Paris. All the nazi memorabilia was ah.. well.. yeah... there's a collection. Despite all this, couldn't find anything I really liked and not for the prices. No camera stuff or any really unique stand-out items (for my taste anyway). Better than a flea market though, everything was very clean, well organized and cared for. Oh, and the bathroom could have used some TP. Glad I carry tissues at all times for my sneezy boyfriend or today could have turned into a really awkward day. read more

Very nice antique mall w/ a very nice owner-- friendly & helpful. (We walked in fewer than ten minutes before closing yet she told us to take our time & enjoy ourselves.) Decent prices here & a nice variety of antiques although not a large quantity of furniture if that's what interests you. Lots of vintage pins & other jewelry; I found a cool brass music pin w/ gemstones for $20. Well-organized booths w/ a warm atmosphere. Definitely worth a return trip when we have more time to browse. (Definitely worth a return trip to the area regardless-- such a beautiful area to soak up the sun.) read more

One of the best antique shops I have ever been to! You know its legit when it has that old timey smell. Lots to look at. You know you can find some treasures. My favorite was the hundreds of old postcards categorized by topic and state. I got some from as early as 1908. They also have a bunch of tiny perfume bottles that have been used a bit but have expensive perfumes like Yves St Laurent and Ralph Lauren. They have lots of jewelry too. Affordable for antique. A must go in Crystal River! They can take CC but prefer cash. read more
