This place is hugh, part inside and part outside. Plenty of parking including handicap. From new to used for house, car, clothing. A few places to eat and a couple of rest rooms. Chances are you will leave this place with something. read more

The pets for sale kills me. Didn't look clean. Two of the puppies had hair loss. Open air gun tables. Assault rifles and shotguns. Swords and knives which I love to peruse through. I got 2 board games for $5. Are you afraid of the dark & Cogno. The change given to me was wet. The man that gave it to me was 3/4 wet. A shit ton of rebel flags and trump crap. SO MUCH TRUMP CRAP. I had some donuts that were deep fried and dipped in sugar. They made me queazy. Of course no one that works at or goes to Howard's is on Yelp or gives a shit what I think. Liberal yankee! read more

I drive an hour to get to Howard's Flea Market. After this last time, I will tell you that I will never go again. I went there because I was looking for a few things in particular. However, as I was walking through just the main aisle, I couldn't get past the amount of animals that were being sold with either insufficient or just truly missing ventilation. Being sold in the sweltering heat is akin to animal abuse. There have always been animals for sale there, unfortunately, anytime that I've went, but the amount was much worse this time. The fact that Howard's allows this, tells me that they have no respect for animals rights whatsoever. The people who sell these animals, who effectively financially benefit from abusing them, deserve the worst. I am truly disappointed by what I saw in my last, and I truly mean last trip to Howard's. read more

You have to go to Howard's when in the area. Tons of vendors selling all kinds of things. We always manage to pick up something while there. A lot of the vendors are in buildings or have a roof with open sides so even on a rainy day it's do-able. Don't forget to get a footlong corn dog at Dixie Dogs, they're delicious! Google / internet advertises that the market is open on Fridays but in fact they are not. we were from out of town and made a special stop on a Friday to visit. a total waste of time as they were closed. do not trust internet hours, as it seems ours not maintained or updated. read more

If you've ever been to a flea market, you know that it's about 99% crap and 1% hidden treasures. That's the fun of it, it's not an antiques market. This particular flea market has regular vendors too including little shops and even a pet shop with a turtle who walks around by himself. Seems a bit hot now to have puppies outside panting away in little cages even if they are covered, though. I like all the little produce stands, and there's a deli and bakery in the back too. Fun place to walk around, good enough to check out at least once. read more

This is a huge flea market. Go early because most leave by about noon due to the heat in summer. My favorite part is bargains on plants, produce, cheap breakfast and the best corn dogs (Dixie Dogs) you ever have, seriously. new owners. Well the original owners son came back this year and it's a great place to shop. Great assortment of vendors and vegetable is excellent. Go every week to get my fresh veggies cheaper then grocery store. It's become our weekend outing for a nice stroll. Be nice if they had a small inside band each month like dixieland one month, steel drum one month, country one month, local artists, but keep it inside to draw for vendors not outside. Not just veggies and fruit. Lots of cool flea market stuff. Primarily professional vendors but only about 30% of the vendors sell the Made in China stuff. What are the others selling? Baby strollers, electric bikes, books, knives, guns, jewelry, plants, wooden signs, cool planters from recycled tires, specialty beverages, decorative garden things, and more. The Garage Sale section (the non professionals) is small, but there are at least 150 professional vendors there regularly. Open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Kids water park section (if you're into kids). Pets permitted on leash (scoop the poop, please). No parking garage but tons of dirt parking all around and even within the flea market. Free admission. Dirty. Vendors can be rude. Always complain they're not making money. Whole place just smells like cigarettes. I'm not entirely sure what to think of this place, other than they really need to clean it up. I understand it's a flea market, but there's better and there's some that don't allow smoking. Always someone selling dogs in small kennels. Those poor dogs suffer in the heat. I've been told that people who have bought dogs here went home and found their dogs had major flea issues and were sickly. Left feeling disgusting. Won't be back. read more

I am giving 4 stars simply because I love flea markets. This place is fairly traditional in the sense that it's mostly junk that other people think is a treasure you'll want to buy. We found an awesome little clothing shop that the kids love because they have cheap tie-dye. (There are lots of other nice options too). We got an awesome cigar box guitar for my daughter from the sweetest little man and his wife, he even gave her some tips and tricks on how to play it. My only suggestion would be for the owners to invest in WIFI for their customers. I am not giving 5 stars for one reason, the puppies...yes, they are adorable, yes, they are just the most precious things!! However, they likely came from a puppy mill where, when not at the market they are kept in tiny cages and their parents are severely over-bred. I would support the local animal shelter having adoptions there maybe once or twice a month, in my humble opinion, that would be a much better use of space than those poor pups. The times I've been in the poor things had eye infections, all of them, not just one or two. So, to recap, it's a great place to hang with the family and get out of the house, people watching is always a plus and just say no to puppy mill puppies!! read more

Just about anything you could imagine. The flea market is well organized, clean and the people are very friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer but we just happened upon it on our way to another venue. Lots of traditional flea market finds, produce, private booths with specialty items such as jewelry and repair, clothing, and handmade soaps and and speciality beverages. I have wanted to check this place out for years. Finally did. Thoroughly regretted it. I was told the vendors have suffered because of gas prices and are not out in force. What WAS there was 1970s corning ware, NASCAR table lamps, puppy mill owners and their lot, Harley Davidson gear, and cheap screen-printed T-shirts with foul catchphrases. This flea market is an unapologetic seller of puppy mill dogs. There are always puppies in inhumane conditions. Periodically they also offer elephant rides on sickly broken down animals which is actually very dangerous for kids. Third, it's just the junkiest of junk. read more
