There is definitely a lot to see here but it seemed like as I walked though the booths I got the feeling of "been there done that" - I do this a lot so I have a routine and an eye for what what what I collect - I never enter one of these thrift shops uhm I mean "antique store" without a plan I rarely buy anything except for what I collect, if I have a need for something old, something new I shop on eBay or Amazon. I always get hyped before the hunt begins but when the hunt mean going through a lot of garage sale items I get frustrated and bored and unfortunately I found a lot of that stuff here. I've done my share of thrift store shopping in the area and this store has an excellent array of…read moreitems that are always clean and well displayed. there are areas separated very nicely with crystal, bedding, all clothing is hung nicely and never shoved in or wrinkled, the shoes are all matched and ready to be tried on, the furniture is in good condition and they even have an entirely separate room just for Christmas! Now, this comes with a bit of a higher price. The care they take on the items takes a lot of time and that demands more workers for more hours - so the price must be higher - and people need to understand that. It is nice going into a thrift store and not coming out feeling like you need to wash your hands after looking at the dishes - and I appreciate that because I often go from one store to another - so I'm willing to pay $1 more for something - but, I do understand that it's not possible for some. That being said, the workers here are amazing and so helpful. I have asked all kinds of questions and they are always open and honest about my questions. I got a couple of cookbooks on my last trip and was very happy with my purchases. The trip before I found an old lamb cake mold for $1 and I had no idea how to use it and she said she didn't either but was curious about it, too! She said if it worked for Easter to let her know - so I'll post my successful pic here for her! It's been a great place to shop!
