My wife doesn't know these people who ignorantly react out of emotion for whatever personal issue they had with us. The volunteers obviously are not in one accord because we get told different things and even I didn't know who was who. I just saw volunteers in their blue shirts who are supposed to be helping the needy. After 5 years of going there on and off we get invited for free breakfasts every Friday morning and given the 5-star treatment that we never saw coming nor expected it. I figured that was just some kind of break area for volunteers until the volunteers began showering us with hospitality and invited us over for eggs, bacon, coffee etc. Seemed like we were sitting at a 5:star restaurant getting served at a covered table and all. Then within a couple months we're told we can't do that with their excuse being "the economy" which I saw as strange because this was something I only started partaking in for maybe two months. The Friday during spring break when I broughtt my three children must've annoyed someone there... Someone no doubt complained even though this was not our idea and they should've told me first and not harass my wife while I'm sitting in the barber chair wondering what that Stephen was saying to my wife. So shortly after the breakfast thing for us stopped that Stephen guy said I couldn't get haircuts there anymore. What is wrong with this racket?? Ann Marie then tried to make herself look good by saying at the sign-in table table I could get a haircut if I wait till 11:00 which I was fine with but then minutes after her showing off her hand holding prayer circle with whoever was coming off the street she has the audasticity to backpedal and say I'm banned from Daystar. I don't know about these rumors of her "diocese" or supporting their wealthy Pope but in any case she did us wrong and her sidekick Stephen is a coward for not approaching me instead he accosts my handicapped wife and leaving her confused and upset along with my special needs daughter who was just as confused by Daystar volunteers or employees' lies, contradictions and disorganization. My wife and I didn't take anything without permission and we never asked for exceptions. I don't know how long Anna Marie's been running Daystar but she's very untrustworthy and the way sheand Stephen treated my wife and I along with others doesn't suit whatever religion or faith they supposely claim. Furthermore, CCSO should send investigators to this place especially with those suspicious figures wondering about the premises including crossdressers and these other loiterers that have been gawking my wife, my daughter and other ladies on the Daystar Life Center property.

Good lighting and availability of dressing rooms are necessary. Racks should be appropriately labeled as to type of item (clothes) and size ( shoes). More info on the tags other than the price is helpful but at least, that should be visible. Also other item details on the tag is helpful. The employees should be friendly and helpful, if needed. It's also nice if a whole outfit can be built: accessories, jewelry, shoes, handbags... The items should be relatively current and appropriate for the season with some off season steals in the mix. And, of course, the prices should be reasonable. So, now to Urban Cheapskate... put a "+" at each criteria I listed!!. Check them ALL!! Where do I start.....? EVERYTHING IS LABELED: the categories are concise- women's sleeveless shirts... long sleeve shirts...men's jeans.... men's size 10 shoes...." - you get the idea. The items are not only separated by size but BY COLOR! Matching floral pants to a solid or coordinating print is so fun!! No searching, hanger by hanger, for each one! There are scarves, necklaces, earrings, handbags, shoes, hand sanitizer, lip balm..... even things you wouldn't remember you needed! And the Staff! They are personable, welcoming, and professional! Everyone of them is continuously occupied with doing all the things that make this shop absolutely spectacular - but always ready to lend a hand! They chat pleasantly with each other and the patrons, which to me indicates a good working environment. As for current available merchandise, there were termite tiny shirts, filmy summer dresses, Jean shorts, and sandals. The winter things were there, too: heavy weight jogging pants and sweater dresses, and some great boots. And, finally the prices were excellent! We spent $40 for 2 men's shirts, a pair of flowy ladies pants and a big Fanny pack!! So, as you can see, they met every wish on my list - and then some! You simply must go there!!! I brought in my items in on June 15, 2023 and I have not yet received payment for items that Dana, the owner, told me she sold. It took 2 weeks to put my merchandise on the floor initially or so she said. She does not allow you to pick up merchandise that does not sell and says it is donated which I question. How do I know what she is doing with all my donations? I asked to whom they are donated and she refuses to communicate or answer the question. Something is so amiss here so seller beware of this business and its proprietor Dana. I asked for the copy of her contract by mail, email and FB to no avail. She keeps saying she has sent it to me and I confirmed my email and she is still jerking me around. When she did finally send through FB after numerous request, I could not even read it as the print is so small. When I asked about the contract and questions pertinent to it, she practiced avoidance and is currently ignoring my calls and communications through FB. Most recently, I reached out to her on Friday, August 11th through FB and she has ignored me. I sent another FB communication on Monday, August 14, 2023 and asked for a courtesy reply and she is still ignoring me. All this does is create mistrust. Anyone that practices transparency and is professional, answers questions from a customer and does not seek to avoid answering specifics and ignoring the queries. Dana has proved herself to be unprofessional, recalcitrant and untrustworthy. She told me she will not donate all the items I brought in and will keep the more expensive items until they sell. That is no where in her contract and she does not provide any paperwork regarding sales on your items, what she priced it at and what it sold for and she makes you call up every month by a certain date to request a check or you do not get paid for you items. As far as I can see, she has stolen my items and has not paid me and it is past time. She refuses to communicate in any form so unfortunately my next call is to the police to report my stolen items. This game she plays has been going on for almost 2 months and it is not acceptable. She has not posted any of my items on her FB page since I dropped them off and some items are higher end. I wonder if she ever placed them up for sale to begin with. She has broken trust and I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH HER AGAIN.
