If looking for beautiful wedding cakes and a variety of mini desserts for a dessert bar, look no further than Heritage Desserts. We reached out to Aubrey about cake tasting and it was so easy to set up a time to pick up our to-go cake tasting box. It is easy to see that Aubrey cares deeply about her craft! Not only was every flavor of cake unique, the cake was so moist and delicious. We knew right away that she was the one for us and Aubrey made sure to make ordering our cake/mini desserts so easy. Chris and I were literally counting down until we could eat our desserts again. We ordered A LOT of desserts for our wedding dessert bar and I am not lying when I say we left the venue with maybe 10 mini desserts left. Aubrey came and set everything up and was so easy to work with! The desserts were a huge hit, with guests RAVING about how amazing everything tasted. Thank you Aubrey for putting so much care into what you do because it truly shows through how wonderful all of your desserts tasted! Chris and I will definitely be back for all of our future occasions just so that we can eat your phenomenal desserts again!

Heritage & Co (Aubrey and her team) did a fantastic job on our wedding cake. She followed our suggestions perfectly and it was honestly so stunning. We also received so many compliments on the taste of our cake, and the variety of flavors (we chose coconut, hummingbird, and chocolate chip)!

We can't thank Aubrey and her team at Heritage & Co for the most delicious desserts on our wedding day! From day one, Aubrey was so easy to communicate with and answered all our questions. We got to taste every single flavor of cake and cookies that we were thinking of having for our wedding day. SO delicious! She also guided us with picking a design that went right on theme too! On wedding day we were blown away with the set up. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the flavor of the cake and cookies! People usually don't remember desserts at a wedding...but we are still hearing about how great they were a month out! The flavors were so unique and tasty it's hard to forget. You can tell that Aubrey and her team truly care about making sure your wedding treats are delicious. We can't wait to order anniversary treats from Aubrey in the future! :)

Perfection for a wildflower themed bridal shower!

Aubrey was incredibly patient with multiple questions and changes and the end result was nothing short of spectacular!

Aubrey was very responsive as I requested to learn more about wedding cake pricing and tasting options. I picked up the most beautiful box of cake samples for the tasting - it was so much cake that was delicious and full of unique flavors. While we didn't decide on choosing Heritage & Co for our wedding day, we would absolutely consider them for future events as their cake flavors were all so yummy. The hummingbird was our favorite!

Dessert. It's my favorite and it was the thing for my wedding I was OK with over ordering because it meant I got to eat it for days. Which was the goal. Aubrey's cake made me incredibly happy- both the beauty of it (I had no idea what I wanted and she made it perfect!) and the taste - ERMG - amazeballs. I LOVE almond. I got so much Almond I was in heaven (we also combined with raspberry filling) and we got another tier of I have no idea what flavor but it had chocolate in it and that's good- but almond is better. On top of that - all of the additional desserts were AMAZING. My husband to this day keeps asking me if I can attempt to make a chocolate peanut butter shooter from our wedding - nope. I can't. It would be an insult to the amazingness of Aubrey's work. Also- because I ordered the extra cake I've been nibbling on it for the past two months and thawing my vacuum sealed cake periodically. It's not as good as Day 1 - BUT it's still REALLY GOOD.

Our Italian wedding cake - amazing!

Aubrey is amazing and did all our wedding sweet treats. We were so happy with how everything came out and she was also very accommodating to gluten free. We loved our wedding cake and our guests raved about it! Highly recommend!!!

I found heritage & Co online and I reached out to Aubrey with an inspiration picture for our wedding cake. Aubrey was kind and professional and I immediately knew we would be in good hands with her. The day of our wedding came and I was so excited to see what a beautiful job she did with our cake. I think it is important to note that we had no cake left over and how rare it is to have a cake that not only looks beautiful but tastes incredible. Our guests went back for seconds and we have received so many compliments since then. We chose the lemon cake with a lemon cream filling with fresh blueberries and I cannot wait to come back to her next year to pick up another cake for our one year anniversary. Thank you Aubrey & team!

Aubrey's cake was no question one of the elements of our special day that both my husband & I were most excited about sharing with our guests. At the tasting Aubrey was incredibly warm, kind & humble and it with the cake - it was love a first bite. Aubrey was very patient and understanding through multiple postponements from the start of planning our wedding in early 2019 to finally celebrating July 3, 2022. Thank you to Aubrey and her team for the beautiful and delicious Pittsburgh cookie table (including decadent and custom whoopie pies, kolaches, macrons, blondies, and many more) & the 3-tiered salted caramel & lemon berry stunning beauty that left our guests raving & delighted. Thank you, Aubrey & Heritage & Co. team for being a part of our special once in a lifetime day!

We chose Aubrey and Heritage & Co for our wedding cake and dessert table and are so glad we did! We tried her desserts with a to-go sample platter that made it very easy and COVID-friendly to try all of her amazing flavors. We ended up choosing a chocolate caramel flavored 6" cutting cake with gold leafing, which was delicious and beautiful. For the dessert table we adored EVERYTHING: strawberry mini cupcakes, lemon bars, s'mores bars, chocolate chip cookies, chocolate shooters and banana cream shooters. The entire table was wiped clean before the end of the party so clearly our guests agreed! I would highly recommend Aubrey for her quality desserts, ease of selection/ordering, and competitive pricing.

Aubrey created our wedding cake and other desserts and everything looked and tasted amazing!!! We went with a Lemon Blueberry cake, which wasn't what we initially thought we would go with, but at the tasting, it was unanimous.  It came out looking exactly like we wanted!! Her chocolate mousse shooter is to dieeee for!!!  Over a month later and I'm still thinking about it and salivating!!! Aubrey is very talented, professional, and the process and communication was excellent.  Highly recommend her for your sweet needs!

I cannot say enough about the cakes we have had from here! Most recently we needed a dairy, egg and dye free version for my sons birthday due to food allergies and Heritage did NOT disappoint!! At least 10 people who attended, who did not know it was dairy and egg free said it was the best chocolate cake they'd ever had!! We've ordered countless other items in the past for baby showers, birthdays and other events and the flavors, textures and presentation have never disappointed! So thankful!

We added the flowers ourselves, but loved this cake for our small wedding! We still had tons of leftovers.

Of the many reasons I wish I could re-live my wedding day (because it just went so fast and there was so much to keep up with all day), on the top of that list would be to get a chance to eat our wedding cake and desserts again from Aubrey of Heritage & Co! The cake was amazing - so moist and flavorful but not too sweet, something that I was looking for in particular. I would have to say my favorite item of the whole day was the vanilla bean creme shooters, I am a sucker for any kind of custard/pudding and these little guys were a splurge for us but I am so glad we decided to get them! Everything was beautifully presented and we were able to rent some cute wood stands to display everything as well. I 100% recommend going with Heritage & Co and can't wait for our anniversary to order another tasty treat.

Yes, this is a cake. The inside was German chocolate and I can still taste the deliciousness!

Their cakes may be pricey, but…read morein my opinion, for the amount of work, effort, and quality of ingredients, I think they continue to be fair. For example, some other specialty bakeries/shops are charging similar prices for cakes and cheesecakes that are much simpler. In comparison, Extraordinary Dessert cakes take 3-4 days to make, have 6-8 alternating layers, and are typically adorned with edible gold and/or flowers. The key is to find which items you like and which are okay to pass on next time. What we ried this time: -Match Misu Cake (7/10): ricotta cake layers soaked in matcha and layered with marscapone whipped cream. This one was pretty good and ranks in my middle to high range. I only wish there was more matcha flavor (maybe if you dine in and get the sauce, this would help) or the matcha was paired with another flavor ... either go fruity (maybe a raspberry sauce, strawberry pieces, white peach pieces, or like a peach oolong cream layer) or go chocolately/coffee (maybe had some crushed up chocolate covered espresso beans). My go to's: -Ivoire Royale (10/10) - my ultimate favorite still. If you like light desserts, white chocolate, berries, and moist vanilla cake, thus one is for you. Classy and unpretentious -Shangrila (10/10) - my other favorite and will make you feel like a princess with all the pink chocolate curls. A little bit adventurous and innocently elegant. Ones to skip: -Au Chocolate / La Bete Noire / Dame Chocolate - get the Viking instead. That's my favorite of all their chocolate cakes -Lemon ricotta - get the Passionfruit Ricotta instead -Torta misu - the matcha misu is better. The tortilla misuse made me want a regular piece of tirmaisu than a cake version -Coconut cream - not bad, not amazing though

We politely asked if it would be possible to purchase a small cup of fruit , even just a couple strawberries cut up, because one child in our group cannot have sweets due to very strict dietary restrictions . Instead of simply saying they were unable to accommodate the request or offering another option, we were told to "go somewhere else," despite already spending the amount we did . The complete lack of professionalism and basic customer service was honestly shocking. It's disappointing to be treated that way at a place we have supported so consistently.
