This place makes me want to vomit just thinking about it. The food is made with corn meal and Sysco branded everything. The service is a joke, unless you were born in Jefferson and have 5 generations that lived there before you, you will never fit in. The ambiance is also terrible. I love this restaurant! On Monday noon, we brought 26 people from our Gdays clean up crew to Towne Inn for lunch. Emily was our server and she did an excellent job with 26 drink orders! Then 26 separate food orders! And not just pizza! I believe I saw Dan in the back cooking. He does a great job. Lots of burgers were made just right! Anyway, everything came out together and hot- and delicious! What excellent service from one of our favorite restaurants! I just thought you should know. Good Pizza but poor help! My son called in to order a 16" pizza on Saturday night for the $5.00 off special. When he asked for the amount he was told the $5.00 dollar didn't apply for his pizza. My son asked why not and the employees response was" what part of specialty pizza don't you understand? " my son commented by saying if you're gonna be a freaking ass... then cancel the order! And hung up! The guy called back a minute later and threatened my son, while on speaker phone he said "listen a**hole, why don't you come down here and pop off so I can kick your f**king ass! Came here tonight for the first time. Walked in the door and was instantly starred down by every person at the bar including the staff behind the bar. It was a very uncomfortable feeling - not welcoming at all. The people at the bar were clearly regulars, and we're very loud, obnoxious, and rude. We felt that the bartender/other staff or manager could've said something. The atmosphere was pretty laid back. They have two very small TVs but we were happy to see sports on. They have a very large beer selection and a variety of liquor. Was very pleased with the bartenders service and friendliness. There was only a handful of people in the bar, so we expected service to be fairly fast. We were recommended this place by a friend for their pizza. The service was very fast getting our food. However, we ordered the "the garbage" pizza, which was good, but was not worth the price - really nothing to write home about. The pizza seemed like a more extravagant frozen pizza from the grocery store. We paid $18 for a 20 inch pizza that was supposed to serve 3-4 and served 2. The pizza was not worth the price. Might come back if we are in the area, but would not go out of our way for this place. read more

Ordered lunch and when I got back to work, it was not all there. Attempted to call and the line was busy for 20 minutes. Drove back and asked for a refund on the item and the bartender said that she could not give a refund as the manager was not there. Towne Inn is under new ownership. It changed hands late winter/early spring 2017. They did a nice job remodeling. The staff is friendly. They changed the pizza recipe. It isn't the same as it always was. The pizza is good though. If you have been disappointed with Towne Inn recently it's worth giving another try. read more

When we entered (with our 8 year old and 1 year old), the bartender was rather rude and abrupt. In my opinion, not an atmosphere for children as the "regulars" at the bar where very loud! We asked for a high chair and received no assistance in locating one in the bar...had to look for it ourselves. Ordered their bucket of chicken and it was AWFUL!!!! and I mean AWFUL!!!! So overcooked there was barely any edible meat on the bones. French fries and homemade potato chips were good. Will not enter this restaurant (bar) again when visiting Jefferson. Will drive to Fort Atkinson or Johnson Creek to eat. read more

I will have to admit, Towne Inn has had some rough times in the past, but has learned from that! The food , over all is very good and reasonable. Friday fish fry is one of the best you will find in the area for the price and convenience. Burgers and pizza are better now than ever due to a few changes. Some one mentioned he got a twenty inch pizza before? They have never offered a twenty, maybe he was somewhere else. Personally, I would recommend Towne inn as a friendly and good place for a casual meal. read more

It saddens me to give it this low of a review. My last visit we had a large party we ordered 3 XL pizzas, 6 burgers and a chicken sandwich. The pizza took an extremely long time 35 minutes after ordering and the burgers were not served until 25 minutes after the pizzas. We had to remind them about the burgers. When the burgers arrived the order was wrong. When asked about the delay we were told it was result of 3 new employees. We were not compensated for the delays. The bill was $95.00 and a $.50 tip was left. Wouldn't recommend Ken's in its current state. read more

Great pizza, kid-friendly environment, good specials, kind and friendly owners!!

The pizza toppings are okay, though nothing special. The crust tastes like it is pre-prepared. The bar and wait staff (if there is any, you usually have to go up to the bar to order), leave a lot to be desired. The bartenders are much too busy with their smartphones, gossiping, and drinking to be of much assistance. The kitchen works hard, except if you don't have the right ingredients, you aren't going to have a good product coming out. I had been in here a half a dozen times, until we found a better place to dine in for pizza, and a MUCH better place for carry out. The burgers and fries taste like Sysco pre-prepared, also, along with the pizza crust. No anchovies or specialty items for the pizza. Staff seems poorly trained. Wanted a cocktail with bourbon in it, told they didn't have any. While leaving, noticed Maker's Mark on the shelf, front and center, and there was not many liquor choices there. Unless there was a really good deal, I'd pass on this one. If you want pizza, go someplace else. read more
