Usually I opt for 90 minute deep tissue massage every week or two; given the fact that I have abstained for 6 months (and was suffering accordingly) I chose the two hour therapeutic massage. Ryan Chavez proved himself up for the task. He is knowledgeable; skilled; and strong. He and his wife Charlotte maintain their facility in squeaky clean shape and that gave me great comfort given pandemic concerns. I was visiting Brenham for the first time this week and while I was here I completely killed all of my muscles from overdoing it at the gym. So last minute I found this little massage day spa and was able to get In for a two hour sports massage. I feel terrible not remembering his name but I believe the whole place is owned by him and his wife. so I'm sure he is the only massage therapist. I work in the spa industry and was blown away by the service. He his a very talented massage therapist and used deep tissue, Thai massage techniques, as well as some pressure point massage. Very professional and is very in tune to what your needs are. I am definitely going back to him the next time im in Brenham. This is seriously a hidden GEM! I love going to this place. It is my go to place for my waxes and my massages. All in one place. Ryan is one of a kind. He is the best. He really knows what's he's doing. I run a business and I get really stressed out and need a really deep tissue massage I walk out of their sover relaxed and so renewed. Stephanie the wax Lady is so wonderful so kind and so attentive. Ryan and his wife are warm and friendly. Always pleasant to talk to. Their place is decorated, so that you start to relax before Ryan starts working on you. The massage room is just as relaxing as the waiting area, which you dont wait long in! Ryan runs on time! Once your massage begins, you know instantly he knows what he's doing. Ryan is a gifted, thorough and thoughtful therapist. He listened to my concerns and attacked those first as well as finding a few I wasn't aware of. He really thinks through the troubled areas and adjusts the manipulation for best results. Pressure was good and firm, but he will adjust that too per your request. The office is large, private, and well decorated. Loved the heated table! The website makes it easy to book appointments. They have it going on! I've had about a dozen massages in my life, all from different therapists. This is in the top two I've had. I will definitely be going back to build rapport for even better relaxation and to maintain wellness. Booked my first hour through Groupon and will take advantage of some off their special deals. I suffered a back sprain that was intensely painful. It hurt to move! My wife discovered Here or There Massage and booked me an appointment. I hurt so badly I struggled to get on the table. Ryan spent the entire hour working on my back and I walked out feeling 100% better. I cannot believe the difference his massage made in my back. The office is in a really neat space that was spotlessly clean and very nicely decorated. The massage room was large, clean, and nicely setup. As Ryan worked on my back, I could feel him locating the various muscles and working the problems out. It was very obvious that he was experienced, well trained, and knew exactly what muscle groups to target. I was amazed at how much of a difference he made on my back. This place is wonderful. It has a great atmosphere from the moment you walk through the door. The wife is the receptionist. She is pleasant & friendly and is ready with a wealth of information. Ryan her husband is the therapist and is such a nice man. They make a great team. They are fairly new to the Brenham area and we are so blessed to have them here. After a little paperwork I was taken right in to a very warm inviting and well decorated massage room. Ryan discussed the pain I had been having with me and listened very well. He was communicative and asked often and allowed me to set the pressure of the manipulation per each area of my body. He intuitively knew when I just wanted to be quiet and relax and when was a good time to talk and give me information. He is very good at deep firm pressure. The table is nice and wide for us bigger folks so you don't feel like you are going to fall off. After I got home and laid down I can still feel the tension releasing. I am so relaxed and at peace. I can't say enough good things about this place. Give them a try. They offer a variety of services and I'm told there are more outstanding services planned for the future.
