Each plant was staked with a couple rubber bands around the newspaper that covered the soil. They were carefully packed in newspapers. I never bought plants over the internet but would not hesitate to buy from this company again. Four stars because I ordered them in mid-March. The website said they would be shipped after frost risk in my area. When it got to be June I emailed them inquiring about my order. They apologized and said they were behind due to COVID & shipped them the next day. To be fair we had frost in May. Delighted customer!
