My wedding was in SF and we were staying at the Marriott. Everything with her felt seamless. I hired Hera to do my wedding hair and makeup for my San Francisco City Hall wedding and I highly recommend her. I wanted a natural look that photographed well with an elegant updo and she hit the nail on the head. The photos turned out stunning! Hera is an AMAZING makeup artist and hair stylist. Kind, on time, and considerate / flexible. I am a NOT a woman who wears makeup so was nervous, and she made me look fantastic without looking like I came out of some sort of Castro street party (which seemed to be so many other options I looked at). Love love love the updo Hera did for me on my wedding day. I have A LOT of hair which is very hard to manage. Nonetheless, the updo Hera did looked so effortlessly elegant. It looked perfect from every angle. Hera told me she doesn't usually curl the hair before the updo, which is what most stylists do. Curling helps hair to stay in place, but also makes it look fuzzy and messy. Instead, she straightens the hair. I think that's the secret that her updos are always elegant.
