    STAY AWAY. STAY FAR, FAR AWAY!!!!! This practice is such a joke. The staff is completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and unhappy. The office is old, dirty, and smelly. This place doesn't even feel like a medical office, more like a dungeon. The vibe is horrible! If you have a health concern, please pleaaaase seek medical attention elsewhere. They don't treat their patients with care. Their go-to solutions seem to be just be prescribing more medication or installing medical devices without offering other options when there are several.

    Table paper box for exam table is obviously empty and staff states they haven't had any in a long time.

    This doctor is pleasant enough and really knows his stuff when it comes to cardiology, but unfortunately he is clueless when it comes to ensuring that his office is clean and safe for his patients. I've been here several times and the waiting room is overcrowded, standing room only as if you are in a subway at rush hour. I guess they dont care about physical distancing during covid and flu season. And without an adequate sized waiting room and lack of seating do they really expect elderly patients to stand for 1 hour until they are called??? Be prepared to bring hand sanitizer and ppe items because the restroom is always dirty, without paper hand towels, toilet paper or seat covers available. Although the staff is doing the best they can, they are obviously overwhelmed. If this office doesn't step up and meet the basic standards of cleanliness that is required in Healthcare facilities, I will be submitting a formal complaint to the State health department.

The assistant who scanned my heart previously was very nice and remembered my condition even after more than a year. (Also, their appointments are very sparse throughout the year.) This cardiologist seemed more interested in how I was dressed than in my heart. This, among other things, made me feel very uncomfortable. I remember her making sure that I understood her comment about my clothes, saying it twice. I felt more comfortable around her assistant, who is a male, than her. I am on Medi-Cal, but she kept recommending that I change my insurance to cover some additional and very rare examinations. As if I can do that overnight. She doesn't talk to you; she just nods and says very few words. There's no opportunity to express concerns. I have been in contact with cardiologists all my life, both for myself and for other people. Everyone has their own character, and I accept that as long as it doesn't become unacceptable conduct. I did not go to my last visit, to collect all my exams because of this. And I am procrastinating exactly because of this cardiologist.

Unfortunately I could not give the full 5 stars due to her office staff. There is one who lacks professionalism - she complains about patients to her colleagues in the presence of the patient (thinking the patient does not understand mandarin). I found it extremely off-putting and was shocked to see this type of behavior in this setting. While performing the ECG, she continued to explain and defend her misbehavior. As for Dr. Young, she is highly recommended for any cardiac conditions you may have.

    Wow. Just wow... Let me first say that I am a long time…read morepatient of Dr Lee (at Pasadena location), who is very professional, kind and I trust him. But, today I called the office in Pasadena to follow up on a prescription issue. So, yeah... I got annoyed when the "nurse" Ana tells me twice that when I change pharmacies I need to make sure to let them know. Well, I changed pharmacies 3 years ago, notified the office staff 2 times since then, what more do I need to do? For some reason, "nurse" Ana felt the need to repeat to me that I need to let them know when I change pharmacies to avoid issues like the one I called about today. I told her that this error was not my fault, as I had notified the staff at their office previously a few times already. I repeated this was not my fault. Well, something about that made her lose it. She was already short and rude with me to start, but at this point she yells at me (as if I was her child or something) that she did not say it was my fault and that I need to listen to her and then all I heard was "blah blah blah"... because it was taking every ounce of my energy to not yell right back at her. I asked her to not yell at me. Then in a softer tone said she wasn't yelling and that she was only trying to tell me that I need to let them know when I change pharmacies. So, now I felt like I was trapped in a bad episode of Seinfeld or something. I was upset because she yelled at ME, when THEY were the ones who made a mistake, didn't notice that I had changed pharmacies a long time ago, and they were faxing the wrong pharmacy because of their own oversight. Do you think I got an "I'm sorry"... nope. In fact, I'm pretty sure she cussed me out after we hung up the phone. Ooo she was mad! I sure hope someone at the office reads this, because someone needs to have a talk with "nurse" Ana. She either hates her job, is a miserable woman taking it out on others, or needs some anger management. Or... she may not realize that she is in a customer service role (as a nurse, no less) where I am her customer (a patient, who's blood pressure may be a little higher after being yelled at) and she needs to remain calm and empathetic in her job! Oh, and, by the way... Ana: if you ever yell at me again, I will yell at you right back next next time and let it out on you directly, rather than vent on Yelp. Good day!

I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment and was taken in on time. I was assigned to Madeline and she was fantastic! Very friendly, genuinely nice, and a great personality that will put your mind at ease. I was also told by multiple doctors there was "no treatment aside from electrolytes and compression socks anyway." Boy were they wrong! I'm so glad I didn't give up, I'm nearly in tears one day into a treatment that caused immediate relief to the debilitating symptoms I've experienced for years. Dr Young was so knowledgeable and empathetic. She diagnosed me immediately and explained the condition in a way that was easy to digest. She outline various treatment options and explained what we will try next if needed. She really follows the most current treatment options and even participates in clinical trials. She was knowledgeable on my rare-ish comorbidities that exasperate my symptoms which was important to me. I feel so grateful to finally have hope and some relief with this. My only complaint, and even though it's a huge one I can't knock a star because she is so amazing and the front desk staff is really sweet, is it is an absolute nightmare trying to get through to the office. I spent over an hour between several calls and being bounced around just trying to get an email that I could send records to- they seemingly don't even have a general clinic email ?! There's also no client portal and the call volume is unhinged. Not having some other way to get questions etc to your doctor when the lines are so busy is wild. I really hope they get this sorted soon.

The staff moves patient along with efficient. The front office check in was straightforward. I can definitely see that the practice is thriving and busy (and this is very reassuring). I would recommend if there are peoplw strapped for time to perhaps get the first appointment of the day. Out appt was 8:30 am and left 10:00. On the way out, the waiting room was PACKED!!! Also, to be fair, when there are other people who were called in earlier (when you checked in EARLIER than them) most likely they are seeing other providers (the office has several nurse-practitioner). I personally do prefer to wait for the physicians.

They are very inclusive here and have multiple employees that are bilingual, Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, and Vietnamese are just some I know they speak! As someone that came in with severe allergies and asthma that was left untreated, Dr. Wong was able to help me figure out what I need to be doing to manage them. I also got an allergy test done here, which no surprise I'm allergic to almost everything. So I am currently taking allergy shots on a weekly basis but will slow down the shots eventually. All the employees I see are very friendly and more than willing to help! Brian has been here for awhile and is really such a nice guy! I definitely recommend to friends to come here and get a allergy test to figure out what they are allergic to! It has truly changed my life coming here!
