Every other doctor I've been to treats me like I'm crazy and talks AT me rather than with me. But not Dr. Dorio! He spent close to an hour with me, talking things through and looking things up on his phone for me. I've never felt so validated and TAKEN CARE OF in my life. (Which is crazy, because isn't that what doctors are supposed to do in the first place?) The only "real" negative about Dr.Dorio's office is the office itself. It's a bit like you time traveled to an asylum in the 70s -- small, windowless rooms, very dark hallways, etc. I definitely wouldn't want to be alone in there when the sun goes down, that's for sure! But it's a small price to pay for the care you receive from Dr. Dorio!

She has a very kind and welcoming presence, she really listened to me and showed that she was genuinely concerned with, not just making sure I'm "healthy" on paper but making sure that I feel good both physically and emotionally. It is clear that she takes the name of her medical group, Healthcare Partners, seriously and treats the doctor/patient relationship as a partnership. I am a former patient of this once beloved physician. Dr. Mysko was referred to me by a longtime…read morefamily friend with whom was a patient for 30 some years. I thought I had found the perfect physician in Dr. Mysko who reminded me of an old time country doctor. Unfortunately this perfection didn't last very long. I experienced numerous billing errors with my insurance co-pays, duplicate insurance claims and difficulty making appointments with his gossipy and snippy receptionist. . I must add that the doctors RN, Ris, was very knowledgeable, kind and professional, she went out of her way to accommodate my medical needs. In my opinion, Dr. Mysko failed to provide me with the medical care I needed but had no problems billing my insurance company for procedures I do not need. He also prescribed medications to me that I later found out that not only did I not need but the medications caused me some nasty side effects that I wasn't expecting. I had been having trouble sleeping and my insurance company referred me to another medical specialist. That specialist tried numerical times to confer with Dr. Mysko by phone and email yet got no response. I reminded Dr. Mysko quite a few times to no avail Later in my tenure with this doctor he agreed that my medical condition warranted being placed on long term disability and had his nurse give me some paperwork to complete which I did and submitted to the state of California who in turn contacted Dr. Mysko for my medical records and his recommendation. To my surprise Dr. Mysko never completed the required medical information even after many, many letters and phone calls from the state and me. Consequently the claim was denied which put me in a financial situation for five months time until I finally was able to relocate with family members yet never have been able to work again. It's my opinion that this physician has made so many false promises to me that I'm unable to recommend him and his services to anyone. Perhaps it's his time to retire and live off the profits of his many braggadocio real estate holdings including the building his practice is in.

They recommended I contact my insurance to find a new provider. I called my insurance and they said my doctor was still listed as in network and they didnt understand why I was being denied services. I'm not sure what is going on but if heritage sierra refuses to work with PPO insurance plans they need to review their contract, and doctors at their practice should be removed from the insurance network list. I was never notified of any changes prior to today and am now left scrambling to find a new doctor.

His support staff are the greatest. As I walked in I was greeted by a very professional young lady by the name of Margarita who helped check me in. His ultrasound technician Greg was just wonderful. Did not hurt me one bit. Kept me entertained even though I was nervous. My procedure went uneventful and I left the office feeling great. I highly recommend this doctor to anyone. I drove an hour from marina Del Rey to get here and it was well worth the drive.
