Both Alex and his wife were very personable and the move did not feel like just business. Alex was really amazing with lifting my heavy items. I was moving from a first floor to a third floor. Unfortunately, in my apartment complex there is only floor level access via the parking garage which does not fit moving trucks and there are no elevators in my complex either. Alex lifted some pretty heavy items up two flights of stairs to drop off in the new unit. These are items I had a hard time even dragging around my apartment. I am very impressed by this moving company and will definitely recommend them to anyone I know moving in the Baton Rouge area. When I move again I will also book them again if they are available. The tile is crooked, uneven, and improperly installed throughout the kitchen. It's clear he lacked the skill and experience necessary to properly cut and fit tile, yet still took on the job and ultimately overpromised while underdelivering. As a result, I am now out $1,700 and will have to hire another contractor to remove the backsplash and redo the entire project correctly. There are ungrouted spaces throughout, uneven cuts around the outlets, and several openings were cut so poorly that the wall plates do not even cover the gaps left behind. In addition, the tile underneath the cabinets and above the stove is noticeably uneven. When these issues were brought to his attention, his proposed solution -- shown below -- was to cut into the bottom of my cabinet instead of properly correcting the installation. I also requested at least a partial refund to help cover the cost of repairing the work, but he refused. I would not recommend him to anyone or hire him ever again.

Used another repair service to help with installation the next day. I also called multiple times to check on part order status with Hittman, and they committed to doing a quick check after which they'd call me back either "within a few mins" or "by the end of the day", but most times they never called back. Wasted 3 weeks working with them.
