I am so happy to be back here. I know EBS is also happy. One of our most FAVORITE places on earth.

I haven't been here in over 6 months. Getting shaky from withdrawal so when I had a chance to spend 90 minutes there, I did. Norman Rockwell exhibit on the Four freedom is here for a short time. Beautifully laid out, the Story of the FDR years as president is told in pictures, music, newsreels, other media from the era to explain to the younger generations what like was like pre TV, computers, and cell phones. Parts will make some uncomfortable by including some the "not so pretty parts of history for women and minorities. But the end gallery ties the past with our present so you will understand that every American has these rights. Give you self at least 2 hours to get thru it.

Everybody you have until September 6th to see the Exhibition... The history of Jim Henson and his puppets, Labyrinth/ Dark Crystal. I can't tell you how much I fully appreciated seeing this in real life For all of you that loved the Muppet show growing up, I suggest you run out there and go see it absolutely worth the cost which is $25 for adults and $18.75 for children $6.00 for parking MUST SEE !!!!

Amazing place with a mind blowing amount of history, including the objects that the two greatest presidents were sitting in when assassinated in, (Abraham Lincoln's chair and JFK's presidential limo). I was texting the family pictures of the exhibits after spending almost three hours there, and my Dad remarked his mother (my Grandma Irene) cried the day JFK assassinated. This was surprising because she was a very tough, stoic woman, (who was also so kind and inspirational to us grandkids and had so much energy, but could also dole out tough love when needed in a funny manner) and who grew up in North Dakota during the dust bowl and still had vivid memories of it in her 90's, using a rope to find the bar in the dark of the dust storm. It just goes to show what profound, tragic moment it was in American history, and it's hard not to feel a heavy weight of sadness as you look at the presidential limo. On a lighter note, they've got so many amazing achievement, not just in American history, but everywhere, and the exhibits run the gamut, including the Popemobile, er Oscar Mayer Wienermobile I mean. It was hard to leave, but I ended up viewing everything, and even though I was moving quickly, it was almost three hours to do so because there is so much to see and read. One HUGE complaint..$6 for parking ATOP the $25 admittance..to quote Sleepy Joe Stalin..er Biden, I mean..."C'MON MAN!" The elderly lady at the counter helped lighten the fee with her super levitatious personality and welcoming directions with the guide map..levitatious isn't a word apparently, but it should be, especially since "za" was added a whlie ago (disgraceful English dat be doh cuh).

Took a ride in a Model T!! Really incredible Museum. I just didn't appreciate this place when I was a child!!! The Henry Ford in Dearborn, Michigan, is an internationally recognized cultural destination that brings the past forward by immersing visitors in the stories of ingenuity, resourcefulness and innovation that helped shape America. A national historic landmark with an unparalleled collection of artifacts from 300 years of American history, The Henry Ford is a force for sparking curiosity and inspiring tomorrow's innovators. More than 1.7 million visitors annually experience its four venues: Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation, Greenfield Village, Ford Rouge Factory Tour and the Benson Ford Research Center. A continually expanding array of content available online provides anytime, anywhere access to The Henry Ford Archive of American Innovation. The Henry Ford is also home to Henry Ford Academy, a public charter high school that educates 515 students a year on the institution's campus. In 2014, The Henry Ford premiered its first-ever national, Emmy® Award-winning television series, The Henry Ford's Innovation Nation, showcasing present-day change makers and The Henry Ford's artifacts and unique guest experiences. Hosted by news correspondent and humorist Mo Rocca, this weekly half-hour show airs Saturday mornings on CBS. The Henry Ford is an independent, 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. We depend on ticket purchases, income from our gift shops and restaurants, and tax-deductible contributions and memberships for support.

Anyways..they have a little store that sells everything that is Michigan made! They also sell Calders milk and ice cream there. They sell things to decorate cakes with or cake decorations too! They even sell Fresh Eggs! They have Baklava, Cheese cake slices, fruit pies that look so delicious! And just so much more! They even have a little seating place outside to enjoy ice cream or whatever you buy there. It's a really cute gift shop inside! I was at the last of the booths when at 5:40 I heard someone come in and the man (Jim?) behind the desk screamed they were closed, the woman wanted to confirm because of the 6 pm closing time, he screamed again and then started cussing at her. I believe he even called her stupid after she left. I couldn't believe it, my jaw dropped. Something so simple made him snap. She called him out for being rude. Which good for her. Mind you there was no announcement made to customers that they were closing earlier and no sign on the door stating so either. I walked out looking for the poor woman. And lo and behold it was my aunt and cousin coming to surprise me. If I had known it was her he was dropping f bombs at, I wouldn't have spent a dime!!!!!!!!!

In addition, to renew the flower bed by removing existing gardening stones and soil, replace with rich new new gardening soil, install new plants & an ornamental tree, and place fresh mulch in the flower bed. As for the people that I dealt with, ALL were very nice to the individual. From the sales/scheduler/biller/facilitator, to the designer, and each member of the work crew. And the plants themselves were top notch (and all at full retail pricing). As for the rest (i.e.: the job itself, the quality of materials, quality the work, the attention to detail, communication with the customer and between management and the crew, professionalism, work ethic, follow-up, overall satisfaction with the experience, etc.), I'll refrain from posting the 500 word review that I wrote, and let the rating speak for itself. Simply put, the experience was not what I had expected from a company with a 30 year history in the community. None of this should come as a surprise, as there were issues at every stage. Again...Nice people (the reason for a 3 star, versus a 2 star review). Maybe I just caught them on the wrong year/decade.
