These guys went above and beyond all expectations, yesterday…read more I had an emergency issue where the wiring in the base to my electrical meter at my feed decided to fry itself and catch fire. PPL cut my power line and removed my meter. They told me that i'd have to call an electrician and have them repair my lines and get it inspected before they would reconnect my power. I called Mits-Myer and they dropped everything and met me back at my place to troubleshoot the damage and rerun the wiring. They replaced my wiring from the feed, replaced the meter base, re-ran the wiring through my wall to my basement panel, and connected everything in. They also noted that my house wasn't grounded, and they correctly grounded it to a rod that they put in 10 feet into the ground behind my house. They called in the inspector that needed to come and inspect everything for PPL to reconnect the feed. They got all of this work done in under 2 hours, and then Bill Newmyer continued to call PPL and kept checking in with me to verify that they were able to get everything back up and running, while PPL was being less than helpful and timely.
