A Wonderful Experience at The Learning Experience - Union, NJ…read moreMy daughter has been attending The Learning Experience in Union, NJ, since she was just six months old, and now, at 4 1/2 years old, she is getting ready to move on. This has truly been more than just a school for her--it has been like a second home. The administration is incredibly supportive and always available to help, making the entire experience smooth and reassuring for parents. The teachers are absolutely amazing--caring, patient, and dedicated. My daughter adores them and speaks about them with so much love and excitement. She has grown tremendously, both academically and socially, during her time here. She has made wonderful friends and developed essential social skills that will benefit her for years to come. One of the things I love most about The Learning Experience is the amazing curriculum. She has learned so much--phonics, numbers, community events, philanthropy, and even manners. They incorporate so many fun and engaging activities, such as book fairs, pajama days, pizza parties, dress-up days, and spirit weeks, making learning exciting and enjoyable. On top of all that, as a parent of a child with multiple allergies, I truly appreciate how well they have cared for her. They have always been diligent in ensuring she avoids any allergens, giving me peace of mind that she is in safe hands every day. What sets this center apart is the genuine care and love they show for each child. They don't just teach--they nurture, support, and encourage. I truly appreciate everything they have done for my daughter, and we will always be grateful for the amazing start they have given her. If you're looking for a place where your child will be safe, loved, and given the best early education experience, The Learning Experience - Union is the perfect choice. Thank you to the entire staff for making these years so special!

Imagine a place and a teacher whom respects your child, his/her needs, concerns, fears, struggles, and whom acknowledges him/her, and teaches your child how to cope with them.... tools to use to help them through their concerns. Tools that will be used throughout their life. Never before have I seen teachers/directors more equipped to support these young, inspired, and yes, sometimes fragile, little minds... and nurture them, helping them unfold into capable, honest, and self-aware individuals. In school, the children problem solve, support each other, and learn from one another, with the ever calm and present guidance of their teachers. Now, this is a play based school- one where play is the work of the children.... and through this socialized play, they develop everything a pre-schooler needs to know! This school is also A TRUE COMMUNITY- welcoming to all who want to be a part of it.

I'm am currently enrolled at the Millburn Co-op with my third child. This program is like no other…read moreprogram I have ever come across. The philosophy of the Co-op is to learn through play and to support the social growth of children. The teachers are child centered. They respect children's feelings and foster individualization. They understand that small children are exploring the world. They help them grow without being judged as "good" or "bad". I strongly encourage anyone that has the slightest interest to visit this school and see for themselves. You will never find another program like this.

But gradually she gained a-lot of confidence and became more expressive. Even though she joined for a short period, the school had a lasting impression on her. I greatly admired the teaching philosophy of the school, and the teachers took great care of our daughter. They were also very nice to us, the parents. At the end of every week, they gave detailed feedback of my daughters progress and what areas she needed to work on. My daughter loved her school and teachers so much that even during weekends she wanted to go to school! The teaching plan included a nice combination of fun play activities with traditional learning. The Alpine Montessori teachers and staff provided a warm and friendly atmosphere for my daughter to take her first steps in her education. The school and her teachers will definitely have a lasting impression on her, and prepare her for the next phase of her education. I would highly recommend Alpine Montessori of Millburn to any parents looking for high quality early stage education and development for kids.

He is very easy to work with. My daughter adores him. You can simply tell he is involved in wanting the best for each child that attends the school. I purchased two books for my daughter from Barnes and Noble. One was a Kindergarten Workbook and the other was a First Grade Workbook. I was planning on using the First Grade Workbook at a later date. I couldn't believe it when my daughter read through the kindergarten workbook and said " mommy this one is just too easy". I was just amazed. I will definitely be back to Alpine to enroll our second child when she is ready. I only wish the school would continue to at least 3rd grade :). Maria G.
